From passing through reception and being greeted by the ever-pleasant Jenny to walking into the day room where the staff are always smiling and attentive,I have nothing but praise for every aspect of this home. Mum's quality of life is always their priority and she is treated with dignity and respect.
Well what can I say, bluebell court is a lovely care home from the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with a cheery hello and a chat from the office admin , once you are on the units everywhere is tidy and smells lovely, the staff go above and beyond with the residents and treat them like family.
Mum AN has lived at Bluebell Court Care Home for 2.5 years. She has always had excellent care. If anything is out of the ordinary the staff call me straight away even if at a weekend or evening. Safeguarding are raised as aa matter of process and even if they have resolved the issue that needed to be reported. Over time mum's communication has deteriorated but the only time she commented on Bluebell was to say in a positive term - "I live here" and she said it twice. In July mum had a hip operation and was returned home within the week due to the home staff being known to her and being able to care for her as their normal routine. She has needed extra care since returning from hospital. The staff have been keen to not have her isolated in her room longer than necessary and have given her the extra care and attention she currently needs. It would be against my wishes to have her moved elsewhere and it would be disorienting for her. Activities is not scored as unable to join in.
always happy to explain any questions you have, any problems regarding care they are happy to help and inform the correct person for there level of care required. This is first care home mum has been living in.
My father has been at Bluebell for four years now. During that time the staff have always shown the utmost care and respect for my father. Always very attentive, helpful, and I've always seen the residents treated with the greatest respect and patience. My father has been very settled here and the staff know how to manage his dementia and his needs.
I've been visiting *** for over 3 years now, and have always been impressed with the standard of care.
Always greeted with a smile Very corteous staff always friendly. Never has "that smell of urine" that most nursing/care homes have. They always go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need ie - drinks Privacy
Wonderful and friendly carers who take excellent care of my Nan and nothing is ever too much trouble. My Nan is really comfortable at Bluebell and we always feel welcome to visit. The facilities are always clean and the activities they do for the residents are great.
I have always found the staff very approachable and friendly and caring. The patients are clean and well cared for. The food always looks appetising. The staff go out of their way to make sure that families are welcomed. They always give an update on the patients.
I came to the care home this morning with two ex-colleagues to see my friend. Having visited my friend a number of times in a previous home, we were amazed at his improvement. We discussed this with his daughter who said he is doing a lot better now. Thank you.
Our family experience with the Bluebell Court Care Home is excellent. The manager and the staff are friendly and professional. My mum has been very poorly this week and the staff have been amazing in looking after her needs and my family also. I would like to say a big thank you to each and every one of the staff at the Bluebell from all the family.
Excellent home, more than meets the needs of our father. Person-centred care, friendly and professional at all times. The staff and management are amazing and always available on-site if needed. Communication is excellent, always kept up to date with Dad's care and support plans.
It was a really big decision taking my wife to a care home. It was getting really difficult to look after her at home. I looked at a couple of homes before we came to Bluebell Court Care Home. I know her room as we walked through the door it was different, it was bright clean and welcoming. The staff are all really nice and caring to residents and visitors. My wife is quite happy where she is and that makes me happy. I can't thank them enough.
My husband has been in Bluebell Court Care Home for over four years now. He has been at death's door with pneumonia this year and the caring staff managed to pull him through. I cannot fault this care home for the support and care my husband has received. The social events held throughout the year are excellent and well-received by the residents, families and staff alike. It is a relief to know my husband is in safe hands.
I have been really happy with the care my husband is receiving at Bluebell Court. The managers and office staff are very supportive. The carers are hard-working, and the nurses are very professional. The home is very clean. This gives me peace of mind, as it was very traumatic for the family when a loved one has to go into a nursing home.
My father-in-law transferred to Bluebell Court from a care home as he needed nursing care. The change in him in 3 weeks is unbelievable, he was in the other home for 6 1/2 years. He’s not as agitated, he’s smiling again and chatting with us, which we haven’t had for 3 years. He looks clean and well cared for. He said he’s happy here. The staff are extremely friendly and caring and we are updated regularly on how he’s doing. My husband, my brother-in-law and Father-in-law’s, sister-in-law, couldn’t believe the positive changes in him. Thank you to all the staff for looking after him so well. It’s made us happier about his move as we were very apprehensive.
The Bluebell Nursing Home is a lovely place for my mum to be in. It is very hygienic and always kept that way. Safe also, for my mum. We know she is being looked after.
We feel fortunate that my husband has a place at Bluebell Court. They specialise in dementia care and the management and senior staff have many years experience in this field of caring. There is a good atmosphere in the home, residents seem relaxed and content and all staff are friendly, patient and caring, which makes for a happy home. This also is a comfort for our family, knowing that our loved one is in a good place.
My mother is very well cared for and is treated with dignity and respect. All the staff at Bluebell are wonderful. Thank you to all the team of staff and carers.
