My husband came in here from hospital and during his short stay, 7 1/2 weeks, the care he received was superb. The staff showed genuine compassion, warmth & professionalism. He was treated with dignity and kindness attending to not just his medical needs but also his comfort and emotionall well-being. The centre was calm, clean and welcoming. Every member of the team from nurses & support staff took time to get to know him. I will always be gratefull for the peace & care they gave my husband in his final weeks. It meant a great deal to me.
My Mum was sent to Bramhall Manor through discharge to assess after a long stay in hospital. Mum has vascular dementia and finds it difficult to make and maintain short term memories. This meant that she was struggling to settle because she couldn't understand why she was there. This made things a little bit challenging for the staff and carers and they were struggling to meet Mum's needs. One of the nurses and a couple of the carers registered complaints against Mum because of this which was quite upsetting. Also, I have real concerns about risk and how risk is being assessed and managed at Bramhall Manor. Mum had a fall whilst she was here, hit her head and had to go to hospital to be checked over and have a rather nasty gash, which she got when she fell, at the back of her head stitched. I later found out from the paperwork that she had been left asleep in a chair unattended and without regularly being checked on. I would think twice about placing a relative in here
All the staff have been wonderful and made my mum feel special. The facilities are excellent as are the wellbeing activities. It is reassuring to know that we can leave Mum in the knowledge she will be well care for and looked after.
Well treated by every member at Bramhall Manor each time we visited. Not only recommended by myself, but by each one of my family. If this establishment is not the best - I would like to know who are.
My mother was placed in Bramhall Manor following a flood at her house; It was supposed to be a temporary placement but it is so lovely and Mum is so wonderfully cared for that we were happy to make it permanent. The staff are so kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them, the meals are excellent and the home itself is spotless. We visit often but when we go home it is in the knowledge that she is safe and cared for by good people.
The care staff are excellent.
The reception team are the first people you meet as you enter. They are excellent and cannot do enough to welcome you and assist. The care team and nursing team are lovely and gentle with Mum throughout the time of visiting. Mum is very happy at Bramhall Manor. She is safe, well looked after and still sings each day. That for me is a good sign she is happy.
The care compassion and dignity by the staff at Bramhall Manor Care Centre is exceptional. The carers are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The food is of excellent quality. The decor and cleanliness is exceptional, like a 5* hotel. The nursing staff are knowledgeable and caring, the clinical lead and home manger lead their team with care and compassion. They always have time to speak to you and take time to get to know you and your family. I could not praise this home highly enough. Thank you everyone at Bramhall you truly made a positive difference to my father's life.
Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Very well-presented and upkept in all areas. My first visit and very impressed.
A very wonderful care facility with amazing staff and the best, happy, caring atmosphere. A home i would be happy to be in if the need arose.
The staff at Bramhall Manor Care Centre are extremely caring, kind and utterly professional. We particularly appreciate being able to talk to the nursing and care staff whenever we need. Nothing is too much trouble. We can rest easy knowing that Mum is in the best hands.
Bramhall Manor Care Centre is a care home that takes the word "care" to its heart. Not only is the service, the food, the comfort and the setting wonderful but the staff and the overall feeling of the home are exemplary. My aunt is extremely happy to be (t)here!
Amazing team of caring people who managed dad's safety and dignity in his final years. Dad spent nearly two years as a full time resident and was very happy. It was so comforting to know he was in the company of such caring people when we weren't there and that his ever changing and complex care needs were being met.
We were so lucky that my mum was cared for and looked after by such wonderful staff. The kindness and compassion shown by everyone was unbelievable. We will always remember her time at Bramhall Manor Care Centre and feel very grateful that she could spend her final weeks in such an exceptional place.
The management needs to look to the care staff for inspiration. To have a resident shot out of the home as quickly as they did needs to be looked into. I have sent the parent company an email with more information. Sent in a taxi but was not an option when we suggested it but they did just that when it suited them. No lunch was given to this 88-year-old. The first option to go by 11 am to the new care home where she could have had lunch was changed to 2 pm then sent at 12.30, luckily family were on hand and the care staff at the new home were ready. The care staff are outstanding whilst the management is inadequate and should look again at the CQC's report from earlier this year. The management will no doubt have the paperwork in place to make themselves look blameless. The care staff are a credit to this home.
Having joined you, following a hospital stay, my father was welcomed with total respect. The staff during his stay were polite, attentive and both Dad, as a resident, and myself, as a visitor, were always met with a smile and welcome whilst the food was not to his taste, it was excellent so a heartfelt thank you to aiding him to his recovery. Keep up the fantastic work. Well done to the whole team, especially the second floor.
The ease of admission for us to get Mum in for respite care for a fortnight was first class. Mum enjoyed the variety of food provided and the quality even though she had to leave a little bit. The regular cups of tea/coffee and the friendliness of the staff providing it was amazing. The cleanliness of the entire place was first-class. There was a concern that the medication wasn't administered in accordance with the prescription all the time. The overall helpfulness and positive attitude of all the staff made Mum's stay relaxing, enjoyable, and therapeutic.
After trying to care for my aunt in her warden-controlled flat, she was admitted to hospital. She was nearing the end of her life and was discharged to Bramhall Manor. She was very well taken care of, and it was a sense of great relief that we could see she was comfortable and peaceful and she died as expected, after 3 and a half weeks as a nursing resident. The team was kind, compassionate, and supportive. Thank you.
The property was easy to find and the parking arrangement was excellent. The ladies at the front desk were very good at ensuring we would be able to attend and see. The room for my mother-in-law was convenient with a member of staff ensuring the room was clean. Breakfast was available and your resident was pleased to enjoy what was available. All in all, it is an impressive property. Thank you for the work being undertaken.
