View Full Details of Bridge Manor Care Home - Avery HealthcareFrom the first point of enquiry and throughout my mum's four week Respite Care stay we experienced kindness and professionalism from all the staff whatever their role at Bridge Manor. The fabric and environment is of a very high standard with spacious rooms that facilitate movement with walking aids etc. But of course the quality of care is paramount and this was excellent. Every effort was made to offer bespoke care that accommodated my mum's frailties whilst offering her access to lots of added value activities. She experienced the care as personalised to her needs enhanced by staff who were kind and happy to chat to her showing interest in what was important to her. At a time of intense heatwave the staff exercised significant vigilance managing the vulnerabilities of frail elderly in this situation encouraging hydration etc. My mum had a most enjoyable time there during our absence on holiday and as a whole family we are grateful for such a high quality care experience thank you.
The Facilities and activities are very good. Rooms are spacious and en-suite. Staff are caring and 'go beyond' to ensure residents are happy and looked after. Food is excellent and there is always a good choice.
Mom has been coming into Bridge Manor for around a year, a week at a time for respite, she enjoys being there & the staff are friendly, compassionate & caring. We as a family are at total ease knowing she is happy, cared for & safe.
We are so incredibly grateful to all of the fantastic staff who continue to look after my Nan at Bridge Manor. After an incredibly hard few months and the loss of her husband my nan moved in in December 2024 on the dementia floor. The staff have been incredible in helping her feel at home and have also been supportive of us as a family in this hard time. The facilities are great, her room very comfortable (doesn't feel like a care home), she loves the gardens and they cater for her dietary needs with no fuss. It has been brilliant to see her smiling and laughing again with the array of entertainment and activities they provide. We are very grateful for everyone who has helped to make it her home and supported both her and the family, always making us feel welcome.
We have been really happy with the care provided for our parents who moved to Bridge Manor a month ago. The staff prioritise resident's safety and well being and get to know them as individuals. The activity offer is broad and we have enjoyed hearing about and seeing the activities on the Facebook page. Bridge manor is a beautiful setting which cleaning staff keep to a high standard. The daily meal menu is varied and should appeal to all tastes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always happy to assist if we need any help or have an enquiry. Our experience up to now as relatives has been very positive.
We needed respite care for my Mother, who at 84, had just spent a fairly tortuous stay in hospital. I contacted the customer service manager, and explained the problem. She was amazing! Professional yet compassionate, she arranged to visit my Mum actually in the hospital the very next day. Having carried out her assessment, she made the arrangements for medication to be transferred to the Bridge Manor, so Mum could have a seamless transition on meds, from the hospital to the Care Home. Within a few hours of getting the nod from the hospital that they were discharging her that day, we had Mum set up and comfortable at the Bridge Manor. Mum is now very happily settled in her own room, and enjoying being pampered by the staff who Mum says are very attentive and clearly passionate in their work. Thank you to the customer service manager and your team.
Lovely care and kind staff Mom only stayed a week but loved it thank you The building is stunning and was made to feel at home thank you Admin lady what a joy she is very helpful food was outstanding and spoke to a young chef he was so kind and very professional when we spoke with him My mom felt safe and well cared For
Placing my dad in a residential home was the hardest decision we have ever had to make. I visited so many homes trying to determine which one would offer him the highest level of care, respect and dignity (seeing above and beyond the wallpaper and soft furnishing). From the outset the level of customer care we received from one staff member in particular was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. What stood out for me the most was how the staff engaged with the residents during our visit at meal time. My dad has now been there a week and what a difference we have seen. His mobility and more importantly his general demeanour has improved significantly. He is always pleased to see us but also settled when we leave. The staff are so lovely and caring and the atmosphere is of general happiness. I am so very happy with the choice we made and would happily recommend this home to anyone who wants the best. Big thanks.
The staff are very kind and generous, always trying to please. The residents are always kept occupied and there are a lot of activities and outings. I would definitely like to see a bit more variety in the food.
Bridge Manor staff are the most pleasant and hard-working staff I've known. The care they give is first class. The only complaint from the resident I visit is that the food could be better (cooked in-house) aside from that it's all good. Compliments to every member of staff.
My mother stayed at Bridge Manor Care Home for a week while we were on holiday. Her room was ideal for her needs, well equipped with a nice en suite bathroom. The staff were all genuinely helpful and provided advice and support whenever needed. Mum enjoyed her stay, the company of other residents and the variety of activities offered. The food was excellent and there were themed lunches for Pancake Day and Valentine's Day. She is looking forward to another stay later in the year.
My mother became a resident following the escalation of her dementia. The assessment and admission process was handled efficiently and with compassion. She has settled in well and seems as content as we could hope for. All of the staff we have dealt with (both care staff and admin staff) have been considerate and supportive. The facilities are excellent and her room and the common areas are always clean and well maintained.
Such a lovely care home and the staff are absolutely unbelievable, I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they have done they are so caring and loving to all their residents and to all guests. Highly recommend!
Such a warm, friendly and lovely environment. Everyone is so helpful and caring couldn’t recommend enough to anyone looking for a place for their relatives to stay. The carers are so thoughtful and considerate and always willing to help out.
Bridge Manor is a wonderful care home. Its premises are smart, new, clean and very pleasant. The director and staff are truly compassionate, positive and caring, and do their utmost for the residents. They clearly work as a team, and whenever necessary, admin staff won't think twice before stepping in to make a meal, or nursing staff to cut hair. Dialogue with relatives is encouraged, and concerns addressed. There are plenty of activities, many including the local community, and even trips to the local for fish and chips! I feel extremely fortunate that my mother is in this care home, and recommend it in the highest terms.
After visiting several care homes for permanent care for our relative we finally chose Bridge Manor. This care home is very welcoming from the moment you step through the front door. The care staff are very nice and nothing is too much trouble for them. The social life the residents have is very good. The home is very nice, on par with a 5-star hotel. I am very pleased and most grateful for the care provided by the Bridge Manor team. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone looking for a care home for their relative. Thank you all.
My mom went to Bridge Manor Care Home to convalesce/respite after a fall and discharge from hospital. From the moment I enquired at Bridge Manor, the staff were extremely helpful and considerate, the whole process from assessment to check-in was easy and the staff helped at every stage. My mom was made to feel welcome and at ease, the admin and care staff were excellent. Having had dealings with other care homes previously for my father, I would like to say that Bridge Manor is the best care home I have visited, seconded by Mom.
From my first visit, which was unannounced, I was very impressed by the professionalism and excellence of Bridge Manor. The care is excellent and the staff have been able to advise and assist in all aspects of my Mother's care. The home is delightful, it is more like a 5-star hotel than care home in my opinion. The bedrooms are spacious, with good size beds and en suite facilities. It is clean, friendly and welcoming. My Mother agrees with me that the staff could not be kinder, the food is delicious and she would have no problem in recommending it to anyone. The ambience is peaceful and as soon as you go through the door, you know it is a well run establishment and management should be congratulated on what they have achieved. I am delighted and am extremely grateful to the team for making my Mum and myself, so welcome. In short, I would describe Bridge Manor as the Rolls-Royce of Care Homes!
My nan went in for respite and had fantastic care and has now turned permanent due to the level of care received at the home. Nothing is too much for the staff they go out of their way and the management team are fabulous. They are approachable and door is always open. The food looks amazing and my nan is happier and the home puts on fantastic events. Thank you to all staff at Bridge Manor Care Home - Avery Healthcare.
I have been extremely impressed with the care my mum has received. All staff care and really understand her needs. The standard of cleanliness is second to none, the food is good and a good range of activities is developing making sure all residents have access. Medical attention if needed is prompt and reported. So pleased with everything.
