Debbie Rowley, Bridge Manor Home Manager, joined the Avery family in 2016. With a career spanning over thirty years, Debbie has a background in nursing, working in the NHS before moving to the private sector and has a wealth of knowledge, having worked in nursing homes since 1995.

Debbie describes her vision for Bridge Manor as “Becoming an outstanding care home in collaboration with the local community. By creating an open, positive culture, Bridge Manor will be a home of which the Wombourne community can be proud.”

Donetta McDonel, Deputy Home Manager at Bridge Manor, joined Avery Healthcare in 2018 with over 18 years of experience in the social care setting. She has progressed tremendously during her time with Avery Healthcare, joining as an Advanced Senior Carer to becoming Deputy Manager at our brand-new luxurious care home.

Her main hobbies include reading, travelling and being around my nieces and nephews, as she is very family-oriented.

Donetta's primary role is providing person-centred care, delivering excellent quality outcomes and supporting our residents and teams.

She also monitors the well-being of each resident, ensuring all staff are supported and always promoting independence and well-being by ensuring that residents' personal, psychological, and social care needs are met. She looks forward to welcoming you to the Bridge Manor community.

Nicole joined the Avery #OneFamily in 2022 and has an abundance of experience, having worked in the industry since the age of 18 years old, the past three years working as an Activities Co-ordinator. Nicole says, "I love my job and can't wait to meet you and learn more about your interests and hobbies."

Nicole's main responsibility is to create a person-centred activities plan with something for everyone to get involved with daily. You can expect a variety of activities to take place at Bridge Manor.

A typical day could involve a trip out in the home’s minibus, creative writing or art classes, talks from guest speakers on a wide range of subjects, visits from local schools, or live musical entertainment. We work to support residents with personal interests that are not already covered in our activities planner too, from simple one-to-one discussions on a favourite topic to a private ballet lesson

Sarah Brewster, Bridge Manor Care Home Admin. Sarah Joined the Avery Family in October 2022.

I believe that the heart of a successful care home lies in its community. Therefore, I strive to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the healthcare team. My commitment to continuous improvement and excellence ensures that our residents receive the highest standard of care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Jodie joined Bridge Manor Care Home in October 2022 after spending months watching the home being built whilst working as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities. Jodie's warm and compassionate nature meant she knew she would be a good asset to the caring communities we have at Avery and was delighted to go through some training with the inspirational trainers and management teams. She is now striving towards becoming a regional trainer and we look forward to watching her career blossom.

Becky joined Bridge Manor in October 2022 as a senior care lead. She has 14 years of experience in the care industry and started her journey as a domiciliary carer for 3 years before going to work in a small care home.

She has 11 years of experience with dementia care and has a passion for palliative care.

She has NVQ levels 3 and 4 in Health and Social Care.

Bridge Manor is pleased to have Emma working with the care team. Emma has a wealth of experience at care and senior care level within the care homes
Emma warm caring approach towards the residents and the team has meant she has settled well within the home.

George joined Bridge Manor October 2022 as Sous chef.
He has years of experience cooking in a care home.
George is enjoying his role and enjoys experimenting with food presentation to please the residents

Balvinder joined Avery in April 2023, With a huge amount of experience working in the care industry for over 30 years.

I believe in treating each resident with dignity, respect, and kindness. My commitment to continuous learning and development ensures that I stay updated on best practices in care provision. My goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of those I care for, providing them with comfort, support, and a sense of community.

Samantha Joined Bridge Manor Care Home housekeeper.
Joined the Avery family in May 2023.

She has experience in cleaning and working in a care home.

Samantha's main responsibilities are to ensure the home is kept clean and tidy. She enjoys engaging with the residents. I believe that a clean and orderly environment is essential for the comfort and well-being of residents. My attention to detail, reliability, and positive attitude make me a valuable member of the care home team. My goal is to contribute to a warm and welcoming environment where residents can feel at home.

Sharon joined Avery in 2023 as a senior care assistant, As a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant, I have dedicated over the years to providing exceptional care and support to residents. My extensive background in healthcare and my passion for ensuring the well-being of others drive me to deliver the highest standard of care every day.

Jane also known as Bridge Manor's hairdresser joined the Avery One family as a receptionist in 2024.

Jane is responsible for answering the telephone and helping visitors who come into Bridge Manor Care Home.

Gina joined the Avery family in 2024 as a housekeeper.

Gina responsibility is to maintain the up keeping of the home and provide excellent cleaning standards.

Harj Joined Avery in July 2024 as a senior care assistant , she has many years experience in the care industry and has fit well into the Avery family.

Sarah joined the #one family in 2022 as a senior care assistant, Sarah has been in the care industry for years and has gained a lot of experience.

Megan joined the Avery # one family in 2023. She has worked day and night shifts while here at Bridge Manor, and she looking forward to learning more and gaining more knowledge.

Chelsea joined the Avery family in 2023 as a nightcare assistant.

Dawn joined the Avery family in 2023 as a laundry assistant. I believe that clean, well-cared-for clothing and linens are essential for the comfort and dignity of residents. My dedication, reliability, and positive attitude make me a valuable member of the care home team, focused on providing the best possible service to all residents.

Barbara has been in the Avery # one family since 2022 as a care assistant she has worked in care for many years and gained a wealth of experience

Stephen joined the Avery family in 2024 as a receptionist. I believe that the reception area is the heart of the care home, where first impressions are made, and lasting relationships are built. My commitment to providing exceptional service, along with my attention to detail and ability to multitask, make me a valuable asset to the care home team. My goal is to ensure that everyone who enters feels valued and cared for.

Michelle joined the Avery family in 2024 as a senior care assistant, Michelle has a wealth of experience working in all different types of care industries.

Tunissa joined the Avery family in 2024 as a senior care assistant. Tunissa has worked in several homes and gained a lot of knowledge.

Chloe joined the Avery family in 2023 as a care assistant. I believe in treating each resident with dignity, respect, and kindness. My dedication, empathy, and positive attitude make me a valuable member of the care home team, focused on enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

Stephen joined the Avery family in 2024 as a head chef. Steve has a wealth of experience and training.
