Overall Experience

I cannot speak highly enough of Bridge Manor care home and the exceptional team there. From our first enquiry the whole care process has been explained clearly and thoughtfully. The administrative team have always been clear, open and approachable, taking the time to answer . The dedication, compassion and professionalism shown by all of the care staff is outstanding residents are treated with genuine kindness, dignity and respect ensuring everyone feels valued and cared for. The patience, understanding and expertise shown by the carers is inspiring. The accommodation is modern, clean, safe and welcoming throughout. The home provides a wonderful and comfy accommodation, with a fabulous "piano room/day room". The outdoor garden space is awesome. The quality of meals is excellent, varied and nutritious . Importantly, there is a real sense of safety and security throughout. Knowing our loved ones are safe, happy and receiving the very best care is most reassuring.

A warm and welcoming care home that provides its residents with a safe and secure environment.
Staff are kind and friendly, treating residents with respect and dignity.
Mom has been a resident for 12 weeks now.
She has made new friends and enjoyed a broad range of activities including attending church services, visiting singers and piano players as well as enjoying the in-house cinema.
She is also able to have her hair done in the home and is visited by a chiropodist.
Is well supported by a local GP practice and visiting district nurse.
Mom loves her single room with en-suite wet room.
Visiting Mom in this care home is enjoyable. There is a lift and the gardens are beautiful.
I have nothing but praise for this care home.
I am grateful every day for the way they look after Mom.
I would strongly recommend this care home for anybody looking for their family and loved ones.
You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Bridge Manor for all you do.

Was nervous about leaving Dad, as I had been forced to make the decision as Mom was in hospital and they would not let her come home if she had to care for him ( although we had 2 care calls daily in place). Dad wasn't too happy at being left, so I cried as I walked away. Within minutes he was fine. I was comforted, Dad was chatted to about his interests etc making him feel at home immediately. Nothing was too much trouble, from accepting my phone calls checking how he was, me crying about struggling with mom at home, arranging an anniversary meal for them both ( left mom there whilst we popped out for a meal) and carers popping in, to personally update us, and request anything that he required. My only fear is when I need them again, they're so popular, they'll be full. If only we could all move in!

From the first point of enquiry and throughout my mum's four week Respite Care stay we experienced kindness and professionalism from all the staff whatever their role at Bridge Manor. The fabric and environment is of a very high standard with spacious rooms that facilitate movement with walking aids etc. But of course the quality of care is paramount and this was excellent. Every effort was made to offer bespoke care that accommodated my mum's frailties whilst offering her access to lots of added value activities. She experienced the care as personalised to her needs enhanced by staff who were kind and happy to chat to her showing interest in what was important to her. At a time of intense heatwave the staff exercised significant vigilance managing the vulnerabilities of frail elderly in this situation encouraging hydration etc. My mum had a most enjoyable time there during our absence on holiday and as a whole family we are grateful for such a high quality care experience thank you.

We are so incredibly grateful to all of the fantastic staff who continue to look after my Nan at Bridge Manor. After an incredibly hard few months and the loss of her husband my nan moved in in December 2024 on the dementia floor. The staff have been incredible in helping her feel at home and have also been supportive of us as a family in this hard time. The facilities are great, her room very comfortable (doesn't feel like a care home), she loves the gardens and they cater for her dietary needs with no fuss. It has been brilliant to see her smiling and laughing again with the array of entertainment and activities they provide. We are very grateful for everyone who has helped to make it her home and supported both her and the family, always making us feel welcome.

We have been really happy with the care provided for our parents who moved to Bridge Manor a month ago. The staff prioritise resident's safety and well being and get to know them as individuals. The activity offer is broad and we have enjoyed hearing about and seeing the activities on the Facebook page. Bridge manor is a beautiful setting which cleaning staff keep to a high standard. The daily meal menu is varied and should appeal to all tastes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always happy to assist if we need any help or have an enquiry. Our experience up to now as relatives has been very positive.

We needed respite care for my Mother, who at 84, had just spent a fairly tortuous stay in hospital.
I contacted the customer service manager, and explained the problem. She was amazing! Professional yet compassionate, she arranged to visit my Mum actually in the hospital the very next day.
Having carried out her assessment, she made the arrangements for medication to be transferred to the Bridge Manor, so Mum could have a seamless transition on meds, from the hospital to the Care Home.
Within a few hours of getting the nod from the hospital that they were discharging her that day, we had Mum set up and comfortable at the Bridge Manor.
Mum is now very happily settled in her own room, and enjoying being pampered by the staff who Mum says are very attentive and clearly passionate in their work.

Thank you to the customer service manager and your team.

Placing my dad in a residential home was the hardest decision we have ever had to make. I visited so many homes trying to determine which one would offer him the highest level of care, respect and dignity (seeing above and beyond the wallpaper and soft furnishing). From the outset the level of customer care we received from one staff member in particular was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. What stood out for me the most was how the staff engaged with the residents during our visit at meal time. My dad has now been there a week and what a difference we have seen. His mobility and more importantly his general demeanour has improved significantly. He is always pleased to see us but also settled when we leave. The staff are so lovely and caring and the atmosphere is of general happiness. I am so very happy with the choice we made and would happily recommend this home to anyone who wants the best. Big thanks.

Bridge Manor staff are the most pleasant and hard-working staff I've known. The care they give is first class. The only complaint from the resident I visit is that the food could be better (cooked in-house) aside from that it's all good. Compliments to every member of staff.

My mother stayed at Bridge Manor Care Home for a week while we were on holiday. Her room was ideal for her needs, well equipped with a nice en suite bathroom. The staff were all genuinely helpful and provided advice and support whenever needed. Mum enjoyed her stay, the company of other residents and the variety of activities offered. The food was excellent and there were themed lunches for Pancake Day and Valentine's Day. She is looking forward to another stay later in the year.

My mother became a resident following the escalation of her dementia. The assessment and admission process was handled efficiently and with compassion.
