View Full Details of Cary Lodge Care HomeLovely friendly staff always happy to help they always have a smile. The care home is lovely and warm and bright and clean.
Staff are always polite and helpful. Seem very respectful to all the residents. Not seen much of the management. Communal areas always clean and tidy and personal room also tidy. Mum seems bored and would like more activities.
Cary Lodge recently held a "Beach Day" in the garden of the care home. This involved providing beach like activities such as making sand castles, dipping into a paddling pool . The lovely garden was decorated with inflated palm trees and residents were offered various fresh fruit juices. The highlight of the afternoon was the visit of an ice cream van, when residents could visit the van and select which ice cream cones, tubs or lollies they preferred. All free of charge. The staff went out of their way to entertain residents and involve them in various activities. The home itself Is bright and airy and all residents have easy access to the beautiful garden, which is enhanced by colourful parasols and raised planters containing tomato plants . The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and treat the residents with the utmost respect. The manager is readily available to discuss any concerns.
The staff at Beechcroft, and latterly Cary Lodge, looked after my Mother with care and compassion for over six years until she passed away last month. Her needs were met in all aspects, and she was very happy in her surroundings. The staff at both establishments were friendly and caring and always obliging on all my visits and nothing was too much trouble.
