Following a fall my dad was unable to return home needing 24 hour care. Chapter house and the management team have provided my dad and our family with a safe, welcoming and supportive home for respite care whilst we navigate a whole new way of life. All of the staff at Chapter House have been
incredible with dad, the small things like them all knowing his name from day 1 making such an impact. Both Matt and Pat have supported the family throughout dad's stay. Your understanding and compassion along with practical advice are invaluable. Thank you so much.

Mum initially went into Chapter House for respite care and continued into residential care. Having looked at other homes Chapter House stood out as feeling the most homely and having the most modern facilities and decor. The staff help create a friendly and positive atmosphere, making it a pleasure
to visit. The carers are motivated and dedicated. Mum quickly felt at home and loves being close to the Minister, hearing the bells and enjoys looking at the Beverley photos around the home. She enjoys the food and eats well. The bistro and garden are very nice areas to meet visitors. Being so close to town is also a big plus. Mum is very happy here which gives me and the rest of the family peace of mind. Many thanks to Matt and the rest of the staff!

Mum has really settled in to this lovely care home. The care team are so friendly and the environment is exactly what you'd hope for when looking for a 5 star home for an elderly parent with early dementia. She's safe and well cared for. Thank you

I had time to look around to choose my room. I was able to change rooms, the room was more convenient for me on the ground floor. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would recommend Chapter House without hesitation. The garden and library were both lovely. It was ideal for me after two weeks of
respite care after my stay in hospital.

I was warmly welcomed and looked after by your staff. The experience of living in a care home was interesting and helped me to put in perspective what my needs are at the moment. I feel I want to remain as independent as my health allows at present and when health changes I will know when I will

My mum moved to Chapter House around 6 months ago, after struggling to manage living alone. It has been a big adjustment for her, yet thanks to the staff she has settled well. We instantly liked Chapter House - especially the bistro, the garden, the cleanliness and style, and the location. Rob (the
manager) is consistently warm and kind. There is a good balance of both structure and routine, with encouragement of independence and friendships.

Cleanliness, care, facilities excellent. Further improvement with Food preparation and presentation necessary. And size of portion! Older people often prefer smaller portions yet not listened to, despite in care plan.
Activity programme needs further work. 'Doing the Laundry' is not a very
imaginative activity. Pity that activities and food are not as good as they once were. Cannot fault care, cleanliness and the wonderful carers/ senior carers themselves.

I was pleased to see my M.I.L so happy, even after only 1 week of being here. Also, I am happy that she is still able to appreciate such a beautiful setting and caring staff. To see her enjoying eating her meals, is a triumph in itself; after living along and not eating much. I have worked in care
homes for 32 years myself, and this for me is above exceptional.

Having just attended a Christmas event, I would like to praise all of the staff on the ground floor from all of the different departments. Everyone was pulling together to make the event as enjoyable as possible for both residents and visitors. Well done all.

From the first day in February 2024 when my mum (91 year old) moved into Chapter House it become her home. From the receptionists, manager, care givers, activity coordinators to her fellow residents, mum feels welcome and cared for. My family and mum's friends have visited the bistro frequently.
It's an extension of her home. The many conveniences relieve family members from numerous responsibilities. The cost is very reasonable. Thanks to the Chapter House Care Home.

Always a warm welcome, and the staff all call you by your name. The facilities are all beautiful, the rooms are clean, fresh and tidy, the bathrooms are immaculate. The food smells appetising and looks delicious. My mum is always clean and smells of fresh laundry. The carers are polite, friendly and
so very patient with all residents. It's a cheerful atmosphere, we are extremely happy our mum is being cared for here.

From the initial interview on visiting Chapter House, when searching for a home for my husband, I knew that both my husband and I had found the caring environment we had been searching for.
All the staff have been knowledgeable of his care needs and have encouraged him to progress and improve his
mobility which was very poor on arrival. He is happy in his surroundings and the supportive staff have helped with this. All his daily needs have been catered for and the food supplied has been good, helping him to build strength and mobility. The atmosphere encouraged by management is one of treating each person as an individual identifying their needs and providing the best possible care.

A warm welcome when we arrived at Chapter House, Beverley, and very impressed with the friendly clean environment. My Dad required respite care it was our first experience with this and were very relieved to find such a caring facility available to him.

We started our research into a suitable Care home place for my Mother in the Spring of 2024, from the first contact we had with the receptionist at Chapter House we were made welcome and the atmosphere was professional and positive. The manager was extremely helpful and spent a great deal of time
showing us around, answering our questions, and making us feel valued. We moved my Mother into Chapter House and are delighted with the environment, her care, and the quality of the staff, which are all of a very high standard.

The home was highly recommended for me by social services for stroke rehab. I came for six weeks of respite in a wheelchair and left walking out the door and went home. The care afterward has been great. Everyone is friendly, the residents as well as the staff. The manager lets me come back for the
hairdressers and the activities which is very generous.

My mother came into Chapter House in January 24 and has settled in extremely well. She is loving it here. She says the food is good and the staff are kind and caring.
When we visit, it is always a pleasure to come here. Being able to take her to the Bishop and join her occasionally for lunch is a
real bonus.

My mum entered residential care at Chapter House in December 2023 and our whole experience has been outstanding. It was obviously a momentous and emotional decision but we felt supported and cared for throughout the process.
The facilities are lovely and it’s a lovely setting filled with space,
light and vibrancy - a place for people to thrive not just exist.
What makes it special however is the staff who are truly wonderful. They are kind, patient and professional, dealing with challenging situations with care, compassion and empathy. From the reception staff who can’t do enough for you through the activities coordinators to the care staff and seniors, they genuinely go the extra mile to make a positive difference.
I’d recommend it highly.
