My brother had been a resident for almost two years, in that time he was well looked after.
But since new management had taken over, that care rocketed. How I know this is I've visited my brother three times a week for the two years. So I definitely think I'm a good judge at knowing how much things
had changed for the better.
Sadly this month my brother was end of life, but that care & compassion was second to none. They not only took care of my brother, they looked after me, being there sometimes for up to 10hrs that care never changed. My brother sadly passed away an hour after I left him this week, but that care didn't stop there I was picked up from home so I could see him one last time. Now that's dedication.
So I want to say a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart to Management.Nursing Staff.Carers Activities.
Receptionists Administrator .Domestics. Kitchen Staff & anyone I may have missed out, a massive heartfelt thank you for looking after my brother so well.

My mum has only recently gone into the home but I can honestly say, after looking at 2 other care homes, Chesford Grange in my opinion outshines them on so many levels.
There are lots of staff around, in many different roles all making sure the residents needs are met and they are as comfortable as
possible.
There are activities staff who are so bubbly and creative with their ideas for entertaining the residents.
The nurses have let me know how she's settling in and how to deal with some of the challenging behaviour she has.
The manager reassured me that they can deal with her condition, they've seen it before and have no doubt she'll settle in. That was massive load off my mind.
Housekeeping and reception have also been so welcoming and helpful.
I genuinely feel so lucky we got the chance to have a place at Chesford Grange for my mum.

When showing mum round for the first time all staff made a point to talk to her and say hello. Other places we visited all but ignored her.
Staff to patient ratio is high than others we visited. Every time I visit staff are very present and available to help and discuss what is going on.

The care that my dad received was excellent he was treated with care and compassion at all times,I never felt concern at leaving my dad after visiting as I felt confident in the staff at the home.On each visit my dad was dressed as he would wish and it was apparent that he had been assisted with his
personal needs. The standard and choice of food was excellent and well cooked and presented, cleanliness was extremely good throughout the home.
Sadly my dad died whilst at the home but the end of life care he received was exceptional both for my dad and for us as we always felt included in his care and were made to feel welcome no matter what time we visited

Dad is really settled here, and I'm so happy in every respect at this point in time. Everyone shows such dedication to their job role. I feel so welcome each time I'm there, and to see the staff how they are with dad is so lovely for me to witness. Dad's every need is taken care of by all who work
there.
Thank you all for being who you are, you're a fantastic team full of care and understanding.

Mum went into Chesford only 6 months ago and in that short time I can honestly say that the care has been second to none. The management and all staff are very friendly, helpful, caring, compassionate and dedicated to the residents.
Sadly mum passed away this week and the end of life care is on
another level.
My mum would be so pleased to have ended her life in the very dignified way that the whole team made happen.
If you are thinking of a loved one going into Chesford, then mark my words it will be the best decision you ever made for them.

Myself, my dad and my brother cannot praise the staff enough for the care mum receives at Chesford Grange. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff are so friendly including management, domestic staff and activity staff. The rooms are lovely and exceptionally clean and the
food is excellent. I haven't seen mum since she was admitted here in Sept as I live away but I am thrilled at the change in her. She has put weight on and is getting back to her old self. Thank you so much!

Chesford Grange is a beautiful care home and my mother settled well as soon as she arrived there. It is extremely clean and the food is of a very high standard. Staff are always very pleasant and care for my mother very well. Lots of events are organised and special days are celebrated thoughtfully
by the activities co-ordinator. We are always warmly greeted by the receptionist when we visit.

The staff at Chesford Grange are amazing, from when you walk through the doors the friendly reception ladies make you feel welcome and at home.
Our Dad has been a resident here for just a year now and we can not complain about anything, his care is second to none, he is loved by the staff as if
he were their own, his room is spacious, warm and spotlessly clean and his care needs are met to a very good standard on a daily basis.
The activities and entertainment are brilliant and one staff member in particular makes sure everyone takes part and has a great time.
We couldn't ask for better for our Dad, and for the way all the staff look after us too, keep up the good work you're all amazing
Thank you

Dad arrived at Chesford Grange at the end of 2023. I can't thank the carers/nurses enough for all they do. Nobody wants their loved one to have to go into care but I feel so relieved dad is being well looked after. They go above and beyond what is required so that residents feel more at home. There
is such a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. Thank you to all.

Worst care home ever. Staff tell lies to cover stuff up, had CQC involved multiple times. Rooms are not clean with coffee stains left for weeks. My mum left dirty on numerous occasions very little interaction from care assistants. Management don't want to listen either, never taking onus for their
poor lack of care and lack of ability to be honest and upfront. Avoid at all costs, we don't have a choice to move mum now with her dementia but you have a choice where your relatives are treated with compassion and care, this is not the place.
