Greenan Manor is an excellent nursing home. My mum has got some strength back after a few days in hospital and several weeks at home where she was mainly bed-bound. I sleep better knowing that my mum is safe in Greenan Manor during the night as she requires assistance from staff overnight. She is
now able to walk with her zimmer. Hopefully she'll be able to walk with her stick soon!!

My mother needed full time care after being hospitalised and being too frail to return to her home. The care home itself is a lovely facility, new and modern and very much like a hotel. All the staff at Greenan Manor have been fantastic with my mum, looking after her every need. She has said on a
number of occasions how glad she is to be staying there.

Initially my mother went in to Greenan Manor for respite care, however it quickly became evident that with the high standard of care and facilities provided this would be her long term home. She has now been in Greenan Manor for nearly 4 years. The facilities are great, clean and comfortable, its
like a modern hotel.
The staff are always friendly and genuinely caring and compassionate. Her medical needs are well managed and any potential medical issues promptly addressed.

Well maybe mom stayed Greenan Manor for two weeks, she absolutely loved every minute of it. She was made to feel so welcome by absolutely everyone.
She advised Joe in their recent meeting that she would rate Greenan Manor 12 out of 10.
She's been told she's very welcome to return when she wishes
to say hello to the many friends she's made there.

Dad was admitted to hospital and as sole carer for my Mum and we had to find respite care quickly. Subsequently we put Dad in for end of life care at Greenan Manor to be with Mum. The home is very people centric and have been so accomodating to my parents needs.The gardens and views are fantastic,
the interior decor/fabrics and placement of chairs allows for a pleasant, calm and engaging atmospere for both residents and visitors. When we visit the staff are always very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They have treated my parents with dignity and respect at all times which allows us great peace of mind.Testament to their care is the fact that my Dad's health has improved to such an extent that both parents should be home in a few weeks. Without their intervention the result would likely have had a significantly different ending. I would very much recommend this care home and it would be my first choice if/when my parents require full time care.

My mother has recently spent 4 weeks at Greenan Manor for respite. From the welcome at reception, to every member of staff, we could not speak more highly. Not only for the care and compassion shown to my Mum but also to the kindness shown to myself. We cannot recommend Greenan Manor highly

I would not hesitate to recommend Greenan Manor. The overall standard of care is excellent. My Mum has been a resident for almost 3 years and consistently mentions how kind the staff are. I can see that they take the time to get to know her .The accommodation is a very high standard, spotlessly
clean and great care is taken of Mums personal belongings. The home offers a good range of activities and opportunities for families to get involved.

Father in law has been a resident at Greenan Manor since October 2023.
He is well cared for by all the staff who have a genuine interest in his well being.
I don't think he could be in a better place.

The staff at Greenan Manor were wonderful with my dad who came in for 8 days respite care. They were helpful, kind and considerate from reception right through to nursing staff.
We knew immediately the second we walked through the doors that my dad would be safe and happy at Greenan Manor. It has
a lovely feeling about it.
The member of staff in reception was very patient, kind and understanding (I must have sent a million emails) and the staff member upstairs was equally as kind and warm. Thanks to all who had a hand in making my dad's stay a positive and safe one.

My mum has just started at Greenan Manor and I couldn't be happier with our choice . We now have 3 parents /in-laws in care homes and Greenan Manor has a far healthier staff/patient ratio than it appears elsewhere. They care and that to me is the most precious aspect. They are looking after mum
now, something she wasn't coping with before . She is safe . The activities look as if they will keep mum amused and interested too. So far so good

Greenan Manor is set in beautiful location with wonderful coastal views. As soon as you enter there is a sense of calm and everything is immaculate and comfortable.
There are spacious public areas where my husband can choose to spend time and where myself, family and friends can enjoy when
visiting. I particularly like that we can visit anytime and are always welcomed.
All staff display warm relationships with residents and their families. From the outset I was encouraged by care staff to be involved in planning and decisions about my husband's care. This really helped with transition from home. Care staff know my husband well e.g. having the choice of where to eat meals. They do a great job.
I would highly recommend Greenan Manor.

Environment is clean and comfortable with spectacular views of the Clyde Coast.
Entertainment morning and afternoon with visitors encouraged to join in.
Public areas with beverages and snacks available all day

Dad has been at Greenan Manor for 3 months. Dad's illness and support required has meant a lot of nursing and safety care is needed. It has taken a couple of months to get dad settled - glad to say the perseverance of staff supporting dad has made him comfortable and feeling 'at home'. He loves
the staff and the home and we appreciate this immensely. Dad's illness and difficulties cause him a lot of confusion and anxiety - the staff make our family feel confident he is being well looked after. He is always tidy. The home itself is beautiful and it's a pleasure to visit particularly when we know dad is happy. Thank you.

Mum and Dad both moved to Greenan Manor in the summer, having been cared for at home and recent hospital stays. Dad has advanced dementia and Mum had a diagnosis of cancer. We wanted the time they had left together to be as stress-free and comfortable as possible and to prepare for the change to
come. The staff are all amazing, the specialist care is all we hoped for and they were so supportive of us through this testing time. Mum died in September, exactly as she wished - at home in Greenan Manor, the care she received was amazing, working with Ayrshire Hospice staff to advise was also great for specialist support. Mum could relax as Dad was surrounded by friends and great staff. It gave us all comfort that Mum was able to see Dad settled. They had complex and different needs and Greena Manor could care for both, taking input from other agencies and medics shows how much they care. They listen and respond and have supported us through this continuing to help Dad as his condition progresses with respect and dignity.

My father spent the last year of his life at Greenan Manor Care Home. The standard of care can only be described as exemplary. All staff went above and beyond to provide loving care for which I am eternally grateful.

The surroundings and decor are just beautiful, staff very approachable and pleasant.

We were really impressed with the professionalism, the high standard of care, and the friendliness of all of the staff.
My father received excellent care and it meant that he spent his last few months well looked after and in comfort. My family includes medical professionals who visited frequently
and who commented on how good was the standard of care.
I appreciated the friendliness of all the staff we met and saw first-hand how well they interacted with the residents even in more challenging moments.
The quality of the facility helped to make it a positive experience for my father and for all of us who were able to spend time with him.
The home was always really clean, fresh and light.

My mother had excellent, kind and loving care in a beautiful environment. Exemplary standards in all respects. I would highly recommend Greenan Manor to anyone looking for personal care, nursing care or palliative care. My mum had all 3 and both she and her family were more than happy with
everything.

Greenan Manor is an excellent care home which provides not only a beautiful location and accommodation but excellent care for my father. When visiting every week we are greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The staff are professional and provide a high standard of care tailored made to meet the
care needs of my father.
