We were made very welcome here. It wasnt anything like I thought. The place was clean and welcoming and Wendy was so lovely and put us at ease straight away. The staff were very helpful when I called in the evenings to check on Mum. I was happy to leave Mum in their care as I got a very good feeling
from Hawkinge House.The rooms were welcoming and very clean and homely. Thank you to the staff for all their hard work and care. You all made the experience so much easier for me and less stressful.

I have always found the staff on the 2nd floor south of Hawkinge House to be helpful and caring. They look after mam very well, and she is happy there. Whenever I take her out, they help get her ready and transparent. There is a nice atmosphere, and the environment is very welcoming. They understand
mum's needs, habbits and listens and respects her wishes.

Mum has now been at Hawkinge for a year and the care she has received from all the staff originally in PAU and now on second floor has been amazing. The individual attention that residents receive is truly outstanding. I've seen staff take the time to sit and hold someone's hand to reassure them,
laugh and joke with residents and treat them with dignity and respect at all times.
The atmosphere at Christmas was lovely with all the staff dressed in festive jumpers and a beautifully decorated table ready for lunch which itself looked delicious!
Mum recently celebrated her birthday and we arrived just in time to celebrate with the staff who provided cake, a card and a present! It was a really lovely gesture and made the day special for mum.
It's been a really tough year for us as a family but knowing that mum is safe and well cared for has made all the difference.

Mum's stay here has been very nice, although her experience has been limited as far as activities because she is bedbound. I would like to say the care and attention from the staff has been second to none, always friendly and very attentive to my mum's specific level of care needs. Thank you very
much.

Lovely home where all the staff were smiley and friendly. Looked after dad well, remembering very quickly his likes and dislikes around meals. Great that mum was able to have meals with him on occasion. I thought the daily activities were wonderful, keeping residents active and mentally stimulated.
Wouldn't mind a couple of weeks there myself!

The carers were excellent most providing excellent care.
Food sometimes was not hot, only warm, but was rectified quickly.
Rooms were well furnished ensuite and with a fridge in the room.
The management were very helpful with my needs. The cleaning of rooms was only satisfactory on 2nd floor.

Hawkinge House has been a lovely place for Mum to stay. The staff have been amazing and have gone above and beyond for our mum. The Hawkinge House team are very supportive, friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this care home for a loved one.

Came to Hawkinge House 2nd Floor Unit after being in-patient at hospital, to await a care package being put in place so I could return home. I cannot fault the way I was cared for. Especially as I have no longer any use of my legs and completely rely on the staff here. The staff have been amazing
every single one of them, from management to cleaners and everyone in between. The room I had would put many hotels to shame and there are many activities to keep us occupied varying from church services to bingo, wheelchair exercises to singers. The food although not cordon bleu is excellent (I am a retired hospital chef). Well run everyone at Hawkinge House 2nd Floor Unit. Thank you all.

Mum was admitted to Hawkinge House, and from day one, we were struck by the caring and loving atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, residents and staff - happy! We cannot express enough the five-star surroundings, suites, food, etc. The care of the staff and manager was excellent, and it was clear the
manager cares deeply for her staff and residents. Alwats going above and beyond. Every member of staff was happy, friendly and gentle and could not do enough to make a real difference. If you are considering care at Hawkinge House - don't hesitate!

Very pleased that my uncle spent time here. Well looked after, the staff are kind and caring. Also, the relatives who visited were treated with kindness and respect. Always kept up to date with his care. 5-star care.

Lovely visit with Dad each week. Garden walks, and Duncan, the guinea pig cuddles, plus ballon gamed with other residents. Dad is so much calmer these days and very content at Hawkinge House - he has mentioned to me that he loves it here! As a family, we feel very happy that Dad has settled so well
