I came to KYN for respite care after surgery with complications. We had visited a number of establishments prior to the surgery and were welcomed by KYN and shown all areas of the building and met the staff. We were so pleased we chose KYN though there was no competition really! Its location was
perfect for London so friends and family could visit easily. The building, rooms, facilities and garden were all lovely. I loved my room and was encouraged to bring my own pieces - I had a lot of flowers! The nursing staff, my physiotherapist, and the care staff were all exemplary. I'd had a tough time in surgery and they all helped to make me feel human again! My visitors were all welcomed, we had fun, (had a family movie night in the fabulous private screening room,) and it felt like a holiday as much as a rehabilitation! Thank you KYN! I know where I'm coming if I ever need special care again, as do all my visitors now!

My father unfortunately suffered a severe pelvic fracture, and required sympathetic nursing care and rehabilitation within an adapted, civilised and dignified place closer to family. The unique setup of Kyn Hurlingham met all of the above needs, and surpassed all expectations. It is hard to fault
any aspect of the experience:
- Comprehensive pre admission workup from the nursing team, with a holistic and personal assessment of medical/ nursing needs as well as interests/ personality
- Excellent personal care from a member of the management team who came in on her day off to show us around, and provided her personal mobile number throughout the visit
- Superb building, comfortable room and amazing garden setting, with well adapted bathrooms and hospital style bed (although well disguised)
This is a premium service, and duly comes with a premium price tag. But when you need the highest level of care, it is worth every penny, and I would recommend to anyone.

KYN Hurlingham and the excellent team there provided exceptional, restorative respite care for my father to recover from brain surgery. Before leaving hospital we were extremely concerned about him returning directly home because he needed specialist help navigating stairs, restoring mobility,
monitoring the surgical wound and medication, recovering from major surgery, regaining strength, building healthy appetite and starting a rehabilitative physio program while compensating for anticipated balance and dizziness challenges arising from this surgery. During his short stay, my father made tremendous progress with his recovery thanks to the genuinely caring, attentive, kind and motivating staff as well as the nourishing, uplifting environment. As a family we were warmly welcomed and the team made special efforts to attend to my father's needs and wishes. All team members were remarkable for their warmth, professionalism, expertise and commitment to ensuring the best possible experience.

KYN provided us with an absolutely outstanding experience from our first interaction which set the standard that KYN maintained 24/7. The facilities are beautiful, thoughtfully decorated and furnished giving a feeling of luxury with all the practical details. The catering attended to every need,
with a varied quality choice of options. The real accolade must go to the staff, whether it be the catering, care staff, nursing staff or physiotherapist, all were positive, friendly and willing to go above and beyond, learning very quickly particular preferences/routines and looking to anticipate needs. The physiotherapist provided tailored support finding the right balance to progress with recovery and explaining the healing process in a pragmatic and easy to understand way. Even the messy administrative parts such as changing GP clinic, obtaining medical devices etc were seamlessly managed by the staff of KYN such that the only thing for residents to do is to rest, recover and enjoy.

My wife came to KYN on 19th January from hospital, very frail and on palliative care. Her admission procedure and standard of care whilst here has been first class. Excellent nursing care to make sure she was receiving enough medication and regular repositioning to prevent pressure sores. The staff
at all levels have been extremely caring, friendly and efficient. I have been truly impressed throughout.

I spent only a few days at KYN Hurlington but I was welcomed and immediately made to feel at home by staff and residents alike. The members of staff I met were friendly, kind and caring, and from what I saw they discreetly watched over the residents, stepping in to help if required or with
suggestions to make them more comfortable. The beautifully restored building, including many original features, together with carefully created decorations and furnishings, created a calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout. My room was bright, quiet and extremely comfortable. A home from home if care required.

My mother came to KYN Hurlingham for two weeks of respite care following major spinal reconstruction surgery. This was an incredibly stressful and emotional time for both of us. As her daughter, I felt the enormous weight of responsibility to find somewhere she would be not only safe, but truly
cared for with dignity, compassion, and warmth. KYN exceeded all expectations, and I wouldn't place her anywhere else.
From the moment she arrived, the standard of care was exceptional. The nurses, carers, and physiotherapist showed unwavering professionalism and genuine kindness. They took time to understand my mum's needs and to make her feel comfortable, seen, and respected.
Mum is now continuing to recover at home, but KYN put her in the best place mentally and physically to be able to continue this. Thank you so much to everyone that looked after my mum. You are all such wonderful people.

I can truly find no fault in KYN Hurlingham! The time spent was peaceful and restorative. The staff were kind, friendly, and responsive to me and all my needs were met with ease. The food was delicious and had great variety. The gardens were so beautiful and very healing. The entertainment was
fantastic, classes for all, screening of films in the beautiful cinema and dance classes. Included in my stay were spa treatments including massages, facials and hair cuts which relaxed me even more. It was the most relaxing and healing stay and I recommend KYN to anyone wanting peace, joy and healing time. Thank you to everyone at KYN Hurlingham.

My son, recovering from brain surgery, was in need of complete rest, support and peace and we a family began a search for somewhere that could provide this. By a wonderful chance we stumbled across 'KYN' and how lucky we were to find it. For a fortnight he has been cared for in every way that I
could only dream of. The care has been exceptional. The staff every single one of them kind, friendly, helpful the gardens, food and bedrooms gorgeous, the ambience and the other residents welcoming and I thank KYN for everything.

KYN Hurlingham has provided the caring environment at the most vulnerable time of my life. My rehab journey has been flawless. Instead of looking back at a time that could have been miserable, it is one filled with fun and opportunity for me to the centre of attention so I could see my friends,
family and staff in a warm & welcoming environment. I even rekindled a love of art and discovered karaoke.

A dear friend of mine, recently moved from a care home in Wandsworth, to the beautiful Kyn Hurlingham. She made this move, as she felt she wasn't getting the support she required, at the times she most needed it in her previous home. Kyn has been a breath of fresh air for her. The higher staff
ratios mean that she isn't kept waiting for assistance when she needs it, and her days can truly be mapped out in the way that she wishes.
The focus on mind, body and soul, is encouraging her to leave her room, engage and be mentally/physically stimulated, which is pleasing to see. The home itself occupies a lovely quiet spot and is comfortably appointed. I would like to personally thank the onboarding team for their patience and flexibility during the moving in period, allowing us to use the Kyn taxi and enjoy the restaurant on our initial visits. So far, everything has been exceptional.

The welcome and service from all of the staff at KYN was exceptional and beyond anything I have encountered before. It is a beautiful new care home with well-designed rooms and great facilities. I would recommend KYN to anyone considering a care home for themselves or a family member.

KYN Hurlingham has set the bar very high in terms of what one could ask for in a nursing home. So high that going elsewhere, having stayed here would be a disappointment in all respects. In writing this review, I find it hard to fault anything so I will concentrate on the absolutely outstanding.
This would be the dedication and kindness of all the staff, the beautiful rooms and garden, and food served anywhere you wish at any time you wish. The menus are what one would expect in a very good restaurant, not a nursing home and special diets are catered for. Lastly at KYN, you will find a very happy, welcoming atmosphere which fills the home and uplifts the spirit.

I visited a friend for supper, who was thoroughly enjoying a few days of respite retreat. Following a charming welcome I met up with her before being taken on a tour visit of the premises. I was struck by the bright and fresh atmosphere in the building, beautifully decorated, with delightful and
friendly staff.
The beech tree wallpaper on the main landings was an inspired choice.
We had a delicious supper in the spacious, airy restaurant and my friend had clearly enjoyed herself and benefited from her stay.
I have since recommended this KYN Hurlingham Care Home to several other people. The brochure, clearly and well put together, gives a considered description of the solace and restorative services provided. Bravo.

I had such a lovely time, I felt so cared for and right at home from the first day and the other residents were charming. My room was very pretty and my friends who came over from the Hurlingham Club to join me for lunch thought the food was delicious. It was lovely to be able to host them. I was
very impressed by the value, a lot was included in the fee - no hidden extras at all. A big thank you to dear lady who gave me the most wonderful and careful massage. The nursing staff was very good, it was a great improvement from my previous care home. I only had a short stay but I would happily live at KYN when the time comes.

My mother has just spent 14 days at KYN Hurlingham. She was recovering from being very poorly & being in hospital. From the moment we arrived, The Customer Engagement Manager and all the team welcomed her with such warmth, friendship and love it has blown my mind. Everyone was exceptional. The
restaurant food was fabulous and Mum who had not eaten well for months was eating 3-course lunches & wine plus an evening meal every day! Thanks to the Maitre D also the Head Chef of the restaurant. The carers are fantastic & the medical care by the exceptional nurse was the best. She spotted everything straight away and got it treated, she phoned & updated me most evenings even when I'd visited during the day. Their Physiotherapist has got Mum walking better & pain-free than she has for years! I cannot recommend this place enough and I know Mum was very sad to leave them, we won't hesitate to take Mum there again if another stay is needed. Thank you everyone at KYN Hurlingham you are truly exceptional.
