Selecting a service suitable for family members is a difficult choice. My family have been at Marina View for nearly a year. The facility is well managed, offers extremely competent nursing care, is scrupulously clean and offers a well cooked varied menu. Caring staff are genuinely interested in
their residents. Marina View offers that little bit extra when it comes to resident experience.All residents are given the opportunity to travel in the mini bus on excursions, there are monthly dine and entertainment evenings that involve family members, a buzzing exercise and activity schedule and an inspiring art/craft programme delivered by a graduate artist. This is my second review and nearly one year in I have absolute confidence in the management and delivery with in this facility..
Most importantly I am able to visit anytime of day. No appointment times. No preamble.
Five stars from me.

I spent 4 weeks in Marina View respite care after a hospital discharge. The rooms are beautiful and the staff so friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation returning to Marina View if I need to.

My brother was deemed end of life in Hospital. So that we could visit him easier he was moved to Marina View. We could not believe how stunning it was so clean, so inviting and his room was like a 5 * hotel. Staff were amazing but too few of them. Food looked brilliant. All staff were caring and
sincere when my brother passed away. He was only there a week, but boy this was the best place we could have ever chosen. Just needs to make sure the hand over from hospitals is filtered down to all staff.

I have found that the facilities and environment are very relaxing. The residence is always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a good relationship with my brother and I have personally found them to be helpful, welcoming and approachable. There are often events
on and the staff go above and beyond to make them a success. My brother is comfortable and happy in the residence.

My friend has been a resident at Marina View, the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The home is clean, it's spotless. It reminds me of a 5-star hotel, I could do with a week myself. The food is amazing, all homemade, they even did a party for her 96th birthday.

Fabulous Care home and staff, well run, caring supportive staff, great entertainment package (especially the recent Indian, Elvis and surprise party event). Great location overlooking the marina. Hubby has settled in so well. Thanks guys!! Xx

My mother needed to into a nursing home very quickly. We looked round Marina View and found the manager very welcoming and honest. She has clearly worked hard and was proud of the home but knew there were always things to improve on. My mother was there for a week until she passed away. The nursing
staff were active in getting support from the hospice. The staff as a whole (careers/cleaners/ laundry) were always kind, caring, respectful and very helpful. I would totally recommend the home. The individual outdoor and communal outdoor spaces are excellent.

Beautiful facility, clean and tidy rooms and common areas. All staff very helpful and friendly. Family member's birthday party was a truly memorable occasion and such a great way to bring all my aunt's friends and family together. The staff worked so very hard to give her that extra special

There could not have been a better place for my sister to spend her final few days. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the room was so peaceful with visitors made very welcome. Thank you so very much.

I went to the BBQ on the 1st July. I would highly commend Marina View. The reason for this is this is very much home from home, exceptionally clean. Staff give 100% care to the residents to make sure they join in and all have a good time. An absolutely credit to the home. Well done staff.

Attended the Pride Event with my dad. Great environment and well organised. My dad and all the residents and family thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and the singer. The Activities Entertainer does an excellent job providing entertainment for the residents.

Our mother was at Marina View for the last weeks of her life.
The facilities and accommodation were excellent.
The level of care was of the highest standard, all the staff were very caring and compassionate, and nothing was too much trouble.

appreciated.

My mum has been here since November 2023. It's an outstanding home and my mum has improved socially and physically since being in the home. Initially with changing of management it was very unsettling but since the manager came and another member of staff they have turned the place around and made
it a happy safe and caring place. Staff are amazing!

My wife was in Marina view from 5/3/25 to 3/4/25 under their care of Saint Catherine's Hospice, she was very well looked after by your staff and was obviously liked by them. As she lived on soup and ice cream I can't comment on the main food - but what I saw was good and liked by the other
residents. The room was lovely and cleanliness good. Thank you for looking after her for the short time she was with you.

Tina Turner was amazing, she was very entertaining and talented. What a professional singer. The event was value for money. Food looked fabulous. Excellent presentation. Free first drink was a nice touch. Selling of raffle tickets, a great add on. The event was very well organised, staff were
friendly, professional and helpful. What a lovely evening to get everyone, residents, staff and family together! Well done! Can't wait for the next one.

Absolutely beautiful and Outstanding care home, staff, management are very professional and friendly . The care my 2 sisters in law receives is first class and I am so happy the way they looked after them do well, treated with dignity at all times, and always made to feel welcome when Imy husband
and son visited them, Always clean and so well cared for. Marina View in my opinion is outstanding. I will use aging and recommend to friends and family, thank you very much for looking after my sister in laws.

We were invited to join in on a night of entertainment. It was a fantastic night, the staff and management went out of their way to make it a lovely event. The residents all looked so happy and joined in, some even dancing. Thank you for a great night.

What a place ,exceeded my expectations in every way . Happy staff which means a happy stay,The reception area is immaculate,so happy to welcome family compared to where i was,i eel like i am on holday in a5star hotel apart from the weather.The rooms are fantastic mine overlooking the River, ensuite
bathroom/showeroom, tastefully decorated. The manager & nurses are very professional & courteous. Its a definite10 fro me
