Mam is happy. Staff are very friendly. Personal cleanliness not as good as I would like (teeth and fingernails). Food is good. Mam has been here 3 - 4 months and staff still learning about her.

What a happy home. Happy staff, residents. Always has a homely feeling, and all events are well documented. Clean and tidy home.

The management and staff are friendly and help my parent when needed. The home is always clean and always a member of staff about if needed to ask a question. My parent loved playing the bingo.

The home is a lovely place to live.Everyone is friendly.the staff come if I need anything. The staff listing to me if I need to talk and need help with anything. I like it when they play bingo and when they have a fair on.

Very friendly staff, always there when you need them. Keeps us up to date on everything that happened. Always plenty of activities for the residents to do, very clean place, rooms are spacious. Food always looks nice, mam is looked after really well, and I appreciate everything they do for her. Thanks so much for all your hard work in a very difficult job you do.

We absolutely love mam in this home. We like the fact that the holidays always have a theme. Always friendly staff look after mam really well. I like the fact mam is dressed every day she always looks tidy. The food looks appetising its always clean and tidy. Mams room is clean, tidy and plenty of room.

Merlin Manor is home to my mother in law Mary; myself and my husband always feel the home is friendly and welcoming. We witness Mary being cared for with respect and dignity which as a family makes us feel very happy with all the staff at Merlin Manor.

My mother in law has been a resident in Merlin Manor for 2 1/2 years. Over this time she has always been cared for with dignity and respect, we are always kept informed of any changes to her. If we have ever had any problems we can always speak to the manager who is very approachable, and will deal with our concerns. She is an excellent manager and leader. I would highly recommend this care home.

My mother has recently been moved to the nursing wind of this home due to onset of dementia. I would state openly that the care she has and is receiving has been first class and would recommend this home to anyone.

All the staff really care about the welfare of the residents. The activities team bring in a variety of entertainers to stimulate and entertain the residents. The building facilities are well-maintained and clean. I am happy that my wife is a resident in this home.

We are really pleased with the care my uncle is receiving in Merlin Manor. The building and resident rooms/bathrooms are spotless. The care delivered is exceptional, my uncle is really pleased with the staff, they are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Probably one of the nicest care homes I've visited (I'm a retired social worker), everything is 100%!

My husband has been in Merlin Manor for just over a year and has been treated with care and dignity. The carers are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, always helpful and kind to my husband and to all his family.

My dad is on floor 2. I can't fault the staff for the care they give to my dad. They show so much care towards his needs and his temperament. We appreciate everything you do for him everyday.

My mother has been in Merlin Manor since January 2023. She passed on25th March 2025. I can't fault the staff. She has been cared for with love, dignity + respect. The staff couldn't do enough for her and us as a family making mums last day as easy as possible.

In summary, Merlin Manor has become my second home, it's a place of joy and peace with such friendly and professional staff whose care and compassion know no bounds. It means so much to see such a wonderful environment for my best friend (a resident) whose home it has become. Thank you Merlin Manor.

I was a little unsure what to expect when Mam moved to Merlin Manor but I have to say she is so happy and well cared for. She stays in her room a lot and it is so cosy with lots of her own belongings around her. It is very clean and bright and the staff are very good and make sure she has everything she needs.
