Mum has lived at Orchard Gardens care home for five years. She truly made it her home.The care staff, (or the purple people as she called them), have been amazing with her. She has said on many occasions over the years that we could not have chosen a better place for her to live. Thank you to everyone at Orchard Gardens for the care and kindness you have shown our lovely mother.

Orchard Gardens is a wonderful care home. It's clean, tidy and has a lovely homely feel to it with lots of activities and wonderful, caring staff. My Mum started off as a resident there and they looked after her very well as she declined with dementia and then through her last stages with the addition of extra palliative care. My dad moved in on a temporary respite care package shortly after Mum so they could be together and ended up making that a permanent move due to his dementia. I live a couple of hundred miles away but feel supported by the team and feel that Dad is looked after very well. Tiago has even suggested that he would be able to set up a video call with Dad for me so we can see each other rather than just chatting on the phone as it is not easy for me to visit as often as I would like to. Very satisfied with Orchard Gardens.

There is such a friendly atmosphere at Orchard Gardens wth kind and supportive staff who go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and happy. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in and my mother often has her hair and nails done.

Attended a BBQ for residents and families, a lovely chance to see everyone interacting together and enjoying the moment. The staff were amazing, as always, going out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly.

Our mum has settled in so well here. Everyone is so pleasant. The activity side of things is amazing, getting all involved as much as possible. We as relatives are well informed. Always thinking up new ideas for the residents to enjoy. Can't thank you enough for the care our mum receives. We get to see regular updates of activities. Always improving things. Thank you.

All the carers and leads are exceptional being caring and thoughtful. Always keeping you informed of any changes, communication excellent.

Orchard Gardens Care Home. Our family have witnessed loving care to my mother, supporting her with stimulating activities with the opportunity for the occasional trip out. The meals always look appetizing with regular appetisers both in the morning and a afternoon. Mum has improved from being at Orchard Gardens.

Mum is not always the easiest person to deal with I.E. food medication. Everyone has always tried hard with her. I feel more relaxed now she is being looked after well, and with kindness and respect. Thank you.

From the first day my mother-in-law arrived at Orchard Gardens her care has been outstanding. She was made to feel so welcome and was very happy here. I can not thank the management and care team enough for their continued love and care.

Since mum has moved into Orchard gardens I have seen an improvement in her mentally and physically. Mum has made friends and joining in the activities which was our wish for her. It was a very difficult decision knowing mum needed to go into care after 16 years living with us, but definitely the right decision. Thank You

Popped in to see my mother today. She's been here a couple of months now, after not being able to care for herself anymore and having a fall. Mum seems happy and at home here. She's relaxed and she knows all the staff. All the staff are super friendly and have time to talk. Mum loves to chat! Very satisfied!!

Brilliant home. My nan has never been happier. Her mobility has come on so well since being here. She has made so many friends. Garden area is brilliant, and she never leaves it.

My mum has been here 3 weeks. She is being looked after really well. Very happy, room is lovely, food good. Love that she is being seen by a doctor. Really appreciate staff updating me on meds. So happy that my mum is safe and happy. All staff are really friendly and I feel I can ask any of them.

My first visit to see my sister I was so please with how happy she is sitting in the beautiful garden with her new friend , Her new home looks very well cared for with happy staff looking after their very needs , the food looked lovely , her room is well equipped and comfortable with a lovely view of the gardens , Thank you for caring for my sister

First impressions were very positive. All the staff were very friendly and professional. This has continued ever since, especially as my mother-in-law has settled in. The food and catering is also very good and refreshments are available for visitors as well. I'm also very impressed with all the activities organised, even in the short time she has been here. All in all a very friendly and welcoming home.

I like that I can leave my dad here and know that he is in good hands. He loves the food and the visits out. Staff all seem very nice and the home looks well run.

Visiting for the first time sealed the deal! Such friendly staff and very informal atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are all so caring and know the residents very well. My mum has been living here for a month but has settled in remarkably well. Loves her dinners and now the trips out to the seaside! A great decision which I keep sharing with whoever will listen.

What an incredible team. Dad is so looked after and when have raised any concerns about Dad's health, they have been straight on it. The carers are all so kind. It's great peace of mind. Thank you!
