I was very impressed with the home, the general layout, the decor, the cleanliness and the size of the rooms. It was like being in a hotel. There were excellent facilities and a good range of activities to cater to all the residents' interests. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can honestly say
that it is the best care home I have ever visited.

My brother Clive had been a resident here for just under a year and has settled in really well. My other brother and his wife came up to visit him from Pembrokeshire and as it was his birthday we decided to book the dining room to have a family meal. This was on the 24/3/2026. The food was really
lovely and the staff were so amazing making sure everything was alright and when our desserts arrived they had put a candle in it and all came in and sang happy birthday to him and he was overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of them all. They both were very impressed with everything about the care home and said they had never been in one that was so good more like a five star hotel. So on behalf of my family we would all like to thank you for the care and consideration all the staff give there residents.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very attentive and professional. They popped in at regular intervals to ask if I needed anything.

Pottersway House is the care home every elderly person expects and wishes for: safe and secure and boasting an excellent range of first-rate amenities and interesting, lively and inventive activities which one can enjoy with like-minded companions. One cannot rate the caring too highly, the entire
staff are like a second family and it is not overstating things to say one feels loved and cherished. Coming to Pottersway House has proved to be such a good decision!

My mum was a resident of Pottersway House Care Home for 7 months. She soon settled in and was made to feel very welcome by all of the staff.
Pottersway is beautifully furnished to a high standard with nice bedrooms and lounges / cafe for residents to undertake activities.
The gardens are also very
pleasant with plenty of seating available.
The quality and choice of food provided is is excellent with a pleasant dining room.
I would like to compliment all of the staff from cleaners, carers, nursing and office staff for their genuine friendliness and they are all a definite credit to Pottersway Care Home.

My mum has recently become a resident at the home. I was very concerned regarding her going into residential care, however over the last couple of weeks she has really settled into her new life and home. It's so lovely to see her smile, happy and mixing with both other residents and staff.
This
home is fabulous in every way, all the staff and the care & kindness shown towards my mum, she couldn't ask for anymore.
The home itself is beautiful, caters for all needs. The bedrooms are lovely and very spacious it's like a 5 star hotel. The food looks amazing with a great variety, my mum is eating so well and has actually put a little bit of weight on which is lovely to see.
The manager and her team are all very hands on and extremely appproachable.
Cannot recommend this home highly enough.
Thank you for all your care and kindness you have shown to my mum, she is actually starting to enjoy her life again and smile.

Pottersway House is special. It's not the beautiful fixtures and fittings that make it so, lovely as they are. It's the people who work there who make it 'home' for their residents.
My father, although apprehensive initially, quickly settled. He would have liked to have stayed longer. Respite care
benefited him enormously.
There's genuine love and kindness from the whole team who make Pottersway a home for all.

My mother was admitted at the beginning of December '25. We were anxious that because it was just before Christmas and staff were knee deep in Christmas preparations, that perhaps time would be limited and staff would not find time to 'get to know her'. Nothing was further from the truth. She
firstly noticed how beautifully the home was decorated. The staff were jolly and enjoying getting everyone in the christmas spirit. Mum went to communion, first time for a long time! Staff were keen to get the message of Christmas not get lost in all the decorations and chocolates! Her room was beautifully decorated, and
help was offered to personalise it. The home throughout is immaculately clean and the food looks fabulous. Care staff are patient and kind, and help her with things she has problems with. Nothing is too much bother for them all. The manager, Rachel and deputy Sally have been there for us constantly and are happy to listen and help. I thoroughly recommend Pottersway House.

As a family we were anxious to find a home for our mum that would treat her as an individual and recognise the difficulties we would all face when accepting this next phase in her life.
From the very first contact to mum moving into and settling down in Pottersway House, there has never been any
moment of doubt that we have done the right thing.
The staff are the kindest staff we have come across where you feel that nothing is too much trouble and that they genuinely care about the care they give.
They take time to get to know both their residents and their families and we have all felt welcome whatever time we visit and Mum feels comfortable with them all and interacts with them on many different levels.
The facilities are second to none with the decor current and up to date creating a relaxed and friendly environment .
The food is well cooked - great choices of menu with all appetites catered for and Christmas festivities were inclusive and well thought out.
Cannot recommend enough.

All the staff I have met are extremely helpful and pleasant. I feel confident my sister-in-law will be comfortable there and they will do their utmost to encourage and motivate her. I would highly recommend this care home.

Pottersway has been a great fit for my mother, the staff are excellent and very professional. The building and facilities are top quality and after a short stay in hospital, my mother transitioned back without a hitch. As a family, we are very pleased with the care my mother is getting and can

The home is excellently designed and decorated with all the facilities the residents need. My sister-in-law has multiple medical needs, including the onset of dementia, but all are met by the amazing carers. As family we have been amazed by the warm atmosphere and the opportunites for our
sister-in-law to join in, such as music, singing, movies, lovely lounge and coffee areas. Her ensuite room has all she needs and staff are friendly and approachable. Full marks from us all!

My mother has recently moved to Pottersway and we feel that we could not have found a better place for her to live.
The building, rooms, food and garden are all wonderful , but most importantly the team here is fantastic. All the staff are very friendly and caring. They've been incredibly
welcoming and have taken the time to chat and find out what is important to us.

A very pleasing environment - helpful to lift the spirit with quality furnishings and quite areas to enjoy. Staff largely very good. Food excellent, well present and a good variety: hats off to the chef(s).
Film idea very good and quizzes etc.
Maybe anyone totally immobile (move with help) needs
to be checked on every 1/2 hour - if possible persuaded out? Frustrating at entrance when no one on duty.

Really friendly staff who truly care about the residents. Although newly opened people have found 'their feet' without too many teething problems. My relative has settled in better than we thought - just hope there is a good level of staff retention, but can't fault anything!

My mum moved into Pottersway House a month ago. She has settled in very well considering she never wanted to go into a care home. She is starting to mix with the other residents and there are always activities going on and she is always encouraged to do things. Before she went into Pottersway House
we could not get her to eat anything but she loves the meals here and enjoys going into the dinning room to eat and she looks forward to her mealtimes. All the staff are very pleasant and caring, nothing is too much trouble and they keep me up to date about my my mum, they have sorted mum out with a new G.P very quickly. When we visit mum the home is like going into a hotel, the decor is beautiful, the gardens are lovely and so relaxing to sit in, the coffee machine, cakes and biscuits are a nice touch as mum thinks she is providing us with refreshments in her home. We are very happy that mum is being cared for by such a lovely team and we highly recommend Pottersway House Care Home

I've been to visit my auntie who has not long moved in, I could not believe how many activities the care home provided for the residents! The food was amazing, and the staff are so welcoming!! The home is very clean!

My mother has recently become a resident of Pottersway. It had been a difficult experience finding an choosing appropriate care for her.. i wanted to express my deep thanks to the management team, the nurses and carers alike..
The home is immaculately clean, well presented with beautiful decor and
surroundings which are calm and peaceful..
The staff and welcoming and friendly, offering reassurance and patience when dealing with complex health problems..
My mother has received nothing but wonderful care and compassion. She has settled quickly and feels at home. I am personally delighted with the home, the care, the food, and activities. The efforts the staff have made to make her reassured and settled. The staff have gone above and beyond my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending the home to other prospective residents.

My mother moved to Pottersway House in May 2025. She has vascular dementia and had started to neglect herself and too wander so we made the decision to put her into f/t residential care. Since moving to Pottersway Mum has gained weight, been involved with various activities including exercising,
games, crafting and her favourite gardening. She is happy and content and although she cannot remember things, she can relate to the staff and her surroundings.

Could not rate this home and our experience here highly enough. From the moment Dad arrived we have all been shown such love, friendship and care, not just Dad. The staff are perfect. Professional, caring, thoughtful, observant. Nothing is too much trouble. Pottersway is beautiful, decor and garden.
Very informative with family.
