It was not an easy decision to move my husband to a care home just over a year ago but from the start I have been happy with Red Court. I feel he's being cared for by a great team, all very thoughtful and kind. I like that the staff all know who I am and who I have come to visit, they are all very
friendly. It pleases me that I get phone calls to keep me up to date with any problems like recently they let me know that a treatment for his eyes had been arranged with the doctor. The activities lady works hard to entertain the residents. The food is good and he eats well. The home is kept very clean by a cheerful, hardworking team of cleaning ladies who all know him. Overall I am very pleased with the care and attention my husband receives, it has set my mind at rest.

My mum has been resident at Red Court for some time. She is well looked after. Mum is bedridden now and staff and nursing make sure she is comfortable and warm, always making sure she has her medication. This month nursing staff went above and beyond when Mum had an ear infection, they made sure her
prescription for medication was dealt with immediately. Mum all clear now thanks to nursing and staff.

After a difficult start, things settled down, and it quickly became apparent just how amazing the carers looking after mum really are. They have all built up a rapport with her, while being respectful and kind. Every staff member, not matter their job or how busy they are, is helpful, kind and
respectful to mum and the whole family and always spare the time to share a laugh and a joke, creating a community atmosphere in which mum is happy, healthy and comfortable. Her room, clothing and the wider home are all beautifully clean and maintained, any concerns are listened to, and all promotes the fact that family and staff are working for the same goal of maximum quality of life every day.

Possibly not the plushest care/nursing home compared with some, but the care and dedication shown towards my father was excellent from the very beginning of his stay there. He needed quite intensive nursing, and I cannot fault the nursing staff one bit - they were awesome. I was kept informed of any
new developments with his care, and my wishes towards the end of his life were met. The caring and housekeeping staff were all very kind, compassionate and patient towards my Father and very friendly towards me. I want to thank them all - I shall certainly miss them now that my Dad has passed away.

Whilst my mother has been in Redcourt Nursing Home, she has been looked after very well. The staff are accommodating to her needs and are kind and compassionate. She enjoys the food and she is always dressed nicely with her own freshly laundered clothes. The reception staff have been very helpful in
aiding me with the financial side of arranging for my mother's care since she has obtained a permanent place. I am glad that she is so near to where I live, so visiting at most times of the day is easy.
The home is always clean and tidy and the other residents we see appear to be equally fine.

Mum was initially admitted for respite care. We had no choice where she was placed it just happened Red Court could take her. I am so pleased they could. She had a lovely room with an en suite toilet. Mum's stay turned into long-term care and she was treated with love and compassion each and every
day of her residence. All the staff from the management and carers to the cleaners and caterers and everyone in between were so kind and attentive to both Mum and her visitors. There were a few teething problems getting Mum settled but these were quickly and professionally dealt with. Mum's time in the home was quite short, sadly she passed away in September. Although she was 99 it was still unexpected and sudden. The staff during those last few days in particular were all wonderful. I am very grateful to all of them for the care they showed Mum and their consideration towards me throughout. They made a very difficult time more bearable. Thank you all very much.
