View Full Details of Signature at Reigate GrangeThe improvement since my husband moved to Hilltops in just a few months is amazing and I would like to pay tribute to the team who care for him so diligently. They show a kindness and respect that has brought out the best in him. He is happy and I am too as I know he is being well cared for. The environment is ideal for someone with dementia who wants the freedom to move around, The place is purpose built & well designed to stimulate memories and calmness. He feels the whole team are his friends. I would like to say a huge thanks.
My mother moved onto the dementia floor of Reigate Grange 4 years ago. After an initial period she became very settled and content. The structure at the Grange is exception from superb management structure, through amazing care to first class catering. She has advanced Alzheimer's and cannot communicate her needs yet the wonderful care staff have found and established a great bond with her and manage to communicate on a limited verbal level. Alzheimer's is horrible disease which has taken away a large part of my mothers twilight years but it gives me great comfort that she is in the best possible place to cater for her needs.
From my initial visit Reigate Grange had a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and was only one of the few homes in the area that offered double rooms, allowing my parents to be together. My parents have been resident for 2 months now and have received great support and assistance.
A lovely care home in beautiful gardens well placed for residents and country walks for the able. The staff are always polite and cheerful and remember your names and ready to sort out problems. family and friends are always made welcome and it is lovely to be encouraged to be as independent as one is able. I would particularly like to recommend the manager for her graceful, welcoming front of house management.
When I booked two weeks' respite, I mentioned I must elevate my legs every few hours due to Raynaud's disease, causing bad circulation, the only place was my bed. My legs deteriorated with walking. The only help I needed was taking off compression stockings so I could shower and have back and legs creamed. Once I was shown where to eat/sit, I was able to go alone. Though there would have been physio and exercise daily, activities were boring, too many quizzes. Signature staff came due to a shortage of staff and washing got lost. Paid £4700, expect more, manager did not ask if I would come back!
The Grange is a truly outstanding nursing home where you, or someone you care about, can live happily, well-supported by friendly staff, in comfortable surroundings. The rooms are bright, warm, well-appointed and exceptionally clean. There are two nurses on duty 24/7 if you require a bit of extra looking after. There is a lovely restaurant where you can have your meals, or these can be taken in your room if you prefer. There is a menu that changes daily and seasonally. The food is beautifully cooked and served and all dietary needs are taken into account. There is a wide range of activities available on a daily basis to keep you busy, entertained or amused, depending on how you feel on any particular day. There are communal rooms where residents can meet for coffee, activities or a chat. There is always someone to talk to. It is a very friendly place to be. The management and staff go out of their way to make every individual feel welcome, included and happy.
Brilliant location, facilities, staff and residents.
The care was very good, good choice and standard of food. Room was kept clean and my aunt was kept clean, well dressed and cared for with kindness and sympathy.
Since my aunt has moved here, she has visibly improved physically and mentally. The staff are wonderful and attentive. The facilities and room very good. Lovely gardens.
Parents both very complimentary of all staff and settled in very quickly. Mum has dementia so change is a problem. The fact she settled in so quickly, only shows how good the staff were with her and my father.
My husband has settled in very well. The staff are lovely and the surroundings beautiful.
The manager has been such a supportive presence for us during this challenging time. Having someone who genuinely cares who has helped us with these important as been amazing, her enthusiasm really shines through. I can't praise this care home enough, all the staff have shown exceptional care and patience when dealing with my father who can be challenging at times. Their understanding and professionalism have made a significant difference to his quality of life. The food is also truly divine, compliments to the Chef. Thanks again for everything and making my father feel so welcome.
We were greeted by a lovely warm and friendly lady, who ensured all our needs and questions were catered for. Being up on Hilltop the staff were approachable and made sure Mum has settled.
My mum has only moved in a month ago. We did have a few teething problems with her routine but this has definitely improved. I think communications can take too long. If I email the call supervisor about my mum, it can take a while for a response. I do have to choose various things like sorting a hospital bed, phone repositioning and making sure my mum has the appropriate care. Communication needs to be quicker between relatives and the staff.
My husband has only been a resident for a few weeks after a long spell in hospital but already the benefits of his move to Reigate Grange are very evident and for the first time in many months I am beginning to relax, knowing that he is truly being well looked after.
Until my mother was poorly and hospitalised and had always promised her that neither she nor my dad would ever go to a care home. I visited Reigate Grange unannounced and from the moment and set foot through the door felt safe and welcomed. Every single staff member smiled at me and said hello. When Mum arrived she was greeted by name and made to feel so very welcome. I have witnessed excellent care to both my mother and other residents with care needs not only being immediately responded to but proactively noticed. Reigate Grange clearly recognises the triangle of care and the importance of care needs. There's so much more I can say!
My mother has been at Signature at Reigate Grange from when it opened in 2018. The care she has received, as a resident with Alzheimer's and crippling arthritis, has been nothing but outstanding. The staff treat my mother with the utmost respect. They are patient and kind and genuinely concerned for her well-being.
My mum lives in Hilltops which is the specialised dementia unit. It has a homely atmosphere and the staff are like family. They are incredible and the service they provide is of the highest quality but is their passion and care that goes beyond. The home is now being run by a new management team who are dedicated to providing an outstanding service.
We have been very happy with the care and attention that our mother has received during her time at Hill Tops. We can't thank the support team enough for their friendly support and attitudes in what is a very demanding environment.
I am very happy here, all my needs are met by very caring staff, nothing is too much trouble for them.
