Having viewed a number of car homes, it was clear that Signature at Reigate Grange offered the most complete and nicest facility. The staff have proved to be attentive and caring and take a genuine interest in my father, as well as his care needs. When visiting we are always greeted with a smile and
made to feel welcome.

I have been very happy with the care received by my father at Signature at Reigate Grange. Since he arrived in July 2026. All the staff are very attentive to his needs, are very caring and dad is really happy here. A real home from home experience. And I sleep easy at night knowing he is safe. Thank

My godmother has been a resident at Reigate Grange for over 4 years and they provide excellent care. In the early days she was fully engaged in the wide range of daily activities and was hardly ever in her room. Food is also excellent. She now suffers from advanced dementia and is being very well
cared for on the dementia floor in the same building. The team have dealt with a wide range of challenges as her dementia has advanced and I have always felt that she is safe and well cared for. I can track her daily life on Relatives Gateway and the staff are very proactive if there are any problems, illnesses, medical concerns. They always contact me to brief me and answer any questions I may have. Reigate Grange is an excellent choice for her. The only reason I have given value for money 4 stars rather than 5 is that it is quite expensive!
Reply from Louisa Capaldi, Client Liaison Coordinator at Signature at Reigate GrangeThank you, John for your kind and thoughtful review.
We are pleased to hear that your Godmother has received excellent care and support at Reigate Grange, particularly as her needs have changed. It is reassuring to know that our team's communication, dementia care, activities and use of the Relatives Gateway have helped you feel informed and confident in her care.
Thank you for your honest feedback regarding the cost. We truly appreciate your recommendation and will share your comments with the team.

My parents were keen to stay together despite the early dementia diagnosis for my father. From our first visit we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all staff. The facilities are incredible and their apartment is perfect for them - a double bedroom, large lounge with a kitchenette
and wet room. There is an abundance of lounges and seating areas for socialising and a café area for meeting family and friends.
The care provided has been first class. The nurses and care staff are very thorough and attentive. They interact with my parents with kindness, patience and great humour. They encourage them to engage in the numerous activities provided. The daily care reports accessible via the relatives gateway are very reassuring for family.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My cousin has been a resident at The Grange for four years. We visited a few other homes before selecting The Grange and I must say it has lived up to expectations! Yes, the surroundings are of a high standard but it is the care provided by all the staff that stands out as it is exceptional. All the
staff, the manager, the care staff, the nurses, the chef etc., are wonderful. Residents are treated with the utmost care, in a very person-centered manner, where the care provided is adjusted to meet their individual needs. My cousin is very happy at The Grange and looks forward to many more happy days living there.
Reply from Louisa Capaldi, Client Liaison Coordinator at Signature at Reigate GrangeDear Vivien, thank you for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience of Reigate Grange. The improvement since my husband moved to Hilltops in just a few months is amazing and I would like to pay tribute to the team who care for him so diligently. They show a kindness and respect that has brought out the best in him. He is happy and I am too as I know he is being well cared for. The environment
is ideal for someone with dementia who wants the freedom to move around, The place is purpose built & well designed to stimulate memories and calmness. He feels the whole team are his friends. I would like to say a huge thanks.

My mother moved onto the dementia floor of Reigate Grange 4 years ago. After an initial period she became very settled and content. The structure at the Grange is exception from superb management structure, through amazing care to first class catering. She has advanced Alzheimer's and cannot communicate
her needs yet the wonderful care staff have found and established a great bond with her and manage to communicate on a limited verbal level. Alzheimer's is horrible disease which has taken away a large part of my mothers twilight years but it gives me great comfort that she is in the best possible place to cater for her needs.

A lovely care home in beautiful gardens well placed for residents and country walks for the able. The staff are always polite and cheerful and remember your names and ready to sort out problems. family and friends are always made welcome and it is lovely to be encouraged to be as independent as one
is able. I would particularly like to recommend the manager for her graceful, welcoming front of house management.

When I booked two weeks' respite, I mentioned I must elevate my legs every few hours due to Raynaud's disease, causing bad circulation, the only place was my bed. My legs deteriorated with walking. The only help I needed was taking off compression stockings so I could shower and have back and legs creamed.
Once I was shown where to eat/sit, I was able to go alone. Though there would have been physio and exercise daily, activities were boring, too many quizzes. Signature staff came due to a shortage of staff and washing got lost. Paid £4700, expect more, manager did not ask if I would come back!

The Grange is a truly outstanding nursing home where you, or someone you care about, can live happily, well-supported by friendly staff, in comfortable surroundings. The rooms are bright, warm, well-appointed and exceptionally clean. There are two nurses on duty 24/7 if you require a bit of extra looking
after. There is a lovely restaurant where you can have your meals, or these can be taken in your room if you prefer. There is a menu that changes daily and seasonally. The food is beautifully cooked and served and all dietary needs are taken into account. There is a wide range of activities available on a daily basis to keep you busy, entertained or amused, depending on how you feel on any particular day.
There are communal rooms where residents can meet for coffee, activities or a chat. There is always someone to talk to. It is a very friendly place to be. The management and staff go out of their way to make every individual feel welcome, included and happy.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.832)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.832) out of 10 for Signature at Reigate Grange is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 38 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 38 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.832 for Signature at Reigate Grange is calculated as follows: ( (390 Excellents x 5) + (54 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 453 Ratings = 4.832
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Signature at Reigate Grange is based on 38 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 95 registered maximum number of service users is 19, which has been reached with 38 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
