I have nothing but praise for everyone at Reigate Grange. I had to find a home for my elderly father at short notice as it became apparent that the suddenly could no longer care for himself. Thank goodness for Reigate Grange! Everything was done to make the transition swift and smooth - a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. My father has settled in extremely well and is now very content.

We decided dad needed to live somewhere with 24-hour support yet with the feeling of independence. The Grange is perfect.

Amazing facilities, beautiful setting and great care. All the staff have been helpful and supportive - from the initial enquiry to moving in and ongoing care. Really impressed and dad is happy.

We were looking for a home for our parents, that we thought didn't exist. We found Reigate Grange, still in the development stage and were promised the sun, moon and stars. Well, we now have that and our parents are very happy and the care is exceptional, with nothing too much trouble.

A key concern for my father-in-law was that he be encouraged to take part in activities. I am glad to say that even if he is the only one who for whatever reason wants to take part on the day that he is still afforded the opportunity. The staff are all very kind to him and it is a comfort to us (his family) to know he is well looked after. He is a very content resident.

My niece and nephew and I felt it was imperative that their father, my brother, find a new home in a safe environment as he has Alzheimer's disease and is no longer able to perform tasks of daily living without daily assistance.
I believe that we all had the same response to Reigate Grange, this was where he needed to be. I can only speak for myself as I live far away but I found all the staff that I encountered to be welcoming and very responsive to our family needs and requests.
I have spoken to staff via phone and email and everyone has been so positive and responsive to all my questions. I believe that my brother is very comfortable in his new home and I am so thankful that he is less anxious and stressed.

I was very happy with his care plan as it indicates to me that the staff have an excellent knowledge of his needs, character and the disease process. As a retired nurse who spent her career caring for residents with all types of dementia, I feel that my brother is living in the best place possible.

I had been trying to get Mum and Dad to join the Signature community living home for 2 years. I cannot tell you how delighted I am that they are now fully settled at Reigate Grange. My dad loves the excellent care he receives from all the wonderful staff. Mum is so enjoying the activities, especially the dancing and has made good friends of the staff and residents.

I have visited the Grange on a number of occasions and have found all the staff very friendly and always willing to help, whether it be an admin question or making sure I have had tea and cake on my visits. My mother-in-law is so much more relaxed now she has settled in. Glad to have friends around her. Lots to do and no worries about taking care of her home as it is all done for her.

Mum and dad settled in very quickly at Signature at Reigate Grange. The building is very well furnished and the rooms are lovely with theirs having a door out to the lawns. This is extremely helpful and one of the reasons we chose Signature at Reigate Grange with them is they have their dog living with them and the ease of access to outside is ideal. The staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming. When planning the move, the staff at Signature at Reigate Grange were very supportive as we had some challenging times whilst mum and dad were in their own property. Their worries are pretty much a thing of the past. Its still early days but mum and dad are happy in their new home and we feel more relaxed with them being safe and well looked after.

The care and nursing that my father-in-law has received is second to none. All the staff are lovely, caring and friendly. The food is very good with a variety and flexible eating times. The facilities are fantastic which allows a lot of variety in his days/weeks so he doesn't get bored, which was happening at home by himself. There are also good outings to enjoy.

My comment refers to Hilltops: The staff are all very friendly and attentive and all seem keen to ensure the residents are looked after in a dignified and respectful way. Overall the facilities are very good, the Hilltops garden is a great asset that needs to be used more. It would be very helpful to know who is in charge when a visitor arrives. Day to day issues are dealt with fine but a regular care review with senior staff are friends/family would be beneficial. The visitor's car park is poorly designed, parking will become an issue as the Grange fills up.

Thank you for your response we appreciate the time you have taken to give us feedback. Our dementia care manager has planned care reviews and the idea of a who’s who and who’s in charge board is excellent and we are running with that idea with one being in place in due course.

The staff and the home are wonderful. Mum moved into the dementia unit in August and is settling well into her little community. She is never on her own and there is always plenty for her to do. We can come and go whenever we want and are encouraged to be a part of her new family as well. It has been a weight of our shoulders.

I am proud to be the Dementia Care Manager at Reigate Grange, bringing over 12 years of experience within the care sector. Caring for others has always been more than just a career for me; it is my passion. I am dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred dementia care and making a positive difference to the lives of our residents and their families every day.

My career began in domiciliary care, supporting people to maintain their independence in their own homes while building meaningful relationships with them and their families. I then joined a Palliative Support Care Team, where I gained invaluable experience providing compassionate, dignified, and empathetic support to individuals and their loved ones during some of life's most challenging moments.

From there, I progressed into residential care, where I discovered my true passion for dementia care. Today, I am proud to be part of the team at Reigate Grange, where I have the privilege of leading our dementia community.

Dementia care is my area of expertise, and I firmly believe that every person deserves to be treated as an individual, with their own life story, choices, and preferences at the heart of everything we do. My vision is to develop a strong, knowledgeable, and compassionate team, creating an environment where residents feel safe, valued, understood, and truly at home.

I believe exceptional care is built on open communication, honesty, transparency, and teamwork. By supporting and empowering my colleagues, encouraging continuous learning, and leading by example, I strive to create a positive culture where everyone feels respected, listened to, and inspired to provide the highest standards of care.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing our residents smile, feel comfortable, and enjoy meaningful moments each day. It is a privilege to work alongside such dedicated colleagues and to support the wonderful people who call Reigate Grange home. This is not just my profession; it is my passion.
