Staff wonderful but sparse in various functions - restaurant, cleaning. Food was often poor Welsh rarebit was one slice on under-toasted white bread with a slice of processed cheese topping a slice of processed ham- the vegetarian option was as above but no ham! The chicken breast had bone in and skin
on impossible for those whose hands didn't work. I complained and asked to see the chef twice, but he failed to appear. They obviously cook chilled food was adequate barely.

I can only say how much it has helped me to spend 3 weeks at Signature Highgate. The whole experience has been delightful although nervous and unable to walk when I arrived, I was soon put at ease by the wonderful staff, nurses and carers. Nothing was too much trouble and their care was fantastic. I
was introduced to other residents, all of whom are happy and settled. I played bridge and watched a film in the lovely cinema! I will return to visit the friends I made!

I am delighted to see the home in Hendon is doing well with more residents. Since my mother has been there, more than three years now, the numbers have gone from 22 to 90 residents. Unfortunately the standard of service on reception has declined as there is no way it can cope with the rise in occupants
with just one person handling this. I strongly feel there should be two people to acknowledge this. Taking calls, handling visitors etc. has become too much for them.

Our 95 year old mum went into Signature Banstead in May 2022 with Alzheimer dementia, after a terrible fall and injury meaning she couldn't live independently or without 24/7 monitoring. Initially in Assisted Living, mum took part in the range of activities and trips out, until due to her condition
she moved into Bluebells, for more focused dementia care. The home regularly dress the place up be it for Wimbledon tennis, England football, Christmas, Easter, armistice remembrance and a host of other occasions. The activities team are inventive and encourage all to become part of what is, a large home.
Some of the Signature staff are just amazing and all of them are very good. The care and support our mum received was wonderful and some of the staff go way beyond their job role. Their welcoming smiles, demonstrable love and kindness gave us enormous solace as mum's condition deteriorated and she finally succumbed to that awful illness in July 2025. I heartily recommend Banstead Signature.
Reply from Tammy Sirilli, Home Manager at Signature at Banstead

It means so much to know that she was able to enjoy the activities, events, and community here, and that our team’s care and kindness brought comfort to you all. Your kind words about our staff will be shared with the whole team. Thank you for taking the time to recommend us, even at such a difficult time. Signature care home is beautiful. It feels like a 5 star hotel! The staff are attentive and go above and beyond to help. The carers really care for the residents. The food is great with a wide variety of choices. They also cater for people that are on puréed food or have many allergies. Overall the
home has a great atmosphere and the residents all engage in many different activities. The whole team; physio, activities, maintenance, nurses, care staff, reception, chefs, the general manager and two other staff members are all lovely, caring people who are very knowledgeable in what they do. They all work together and are an amazing team. I couldn't recommend signature enough!

After a nightmare and traumatic 4 month stay in hospital, my 96-year-old father, was discharged into the care of Signature at Caversham. He arrived in a weak and confused mental state with recovery clearly in the balance. The nursing and care staff were absolutely magnificent from day 1 in applying
their medical professionalism, care application and overall monitoring efforts to his precarious health conditions. This required dedication and patience over a 6 month period which saw him gradually restored to a functioning, content and happy individual, showing his natural sense of humour, interest in the world around him and independence of thought. An absolute amazing achievement which impressed everyone who observed this journey - I have no doubt this would not have been possible without the dedication of the wonderful team at Signature at Caversham

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother has been living in Auguste (dementia community) at Coombe Hill for just over a year now, and I have only become more impressed and happy with her quality of life and care during that time. What strikes me in every interaction with carers and staff is just how well they know her: her quirks,
what excites her, her preferences. She's treated and known as an individual, and despite the restrictions her dementia imposes on her ability to express herself, her personality is understood and taken into account in everything. My mother is genuinely happy at Coombe, and both tells and shows me that every time i visit.

The continuity of staff means she has the reassurance of ongoing relationships with carers, and that's also very comforting for me as a relative, knowing they are in a good position to notice any changes in her capacity, wellbeing or behaviour. And communication from staff is excellent: frictionless and super-efficient by email and phone, and always warm in person.

We have found the transition from 24 hr care at home,to our relative moving into Signature at Farnham Common, seamless. This was made possible, by being able to bring him there once a week for a coffee and a game of mini snooker, whilst discussing the best way to move forward, with advice from the Client
Liaison Manager. The moving in process was very well handled and stress free and he now has an en suite room, with all his own furniture and favourite momentos in.
All the staff have been very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Plenty of activities are on offer, including boat trips on the river, accessed via the home's minibus.
Visiting is straightforward and relatives can relax and have free coffee and tea in the cafe. There is a wide variety of meals available to the residents and the standard is very high. Our relative has made a lot of friends, both with other residents and carers and now says he is much happier in a vibrant home, than he was at his own address.

My Mum has been a resident at Signature for three years now and she is really happy there. Which is extremely pleasing for me. During this month, Mum celebrated her 91st birthday and I was fortunate to work with the Signature team to prepare a nice birthday party for Mum and her family and friends to
come and surprise her. The Signature team prepared a fabulous buffet lunch with sandwiches, fruit and fantastic cakes! Mum loves her cake and she was in her element.
It was a big success and is an good example of how the Signature team put so much care into everything they do and put the resident at the heart of their service. This service has been as good as this since Mum has been there and I am so pleased that Mum is very happy to be there.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion shown by the staff at Bentley house. From the moment we first visited, we felt a genuine warmth and commitment to the wellbeing of every resident. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and calm - it truly feels like a home rather than a facility.
My aunt had lived there in her final few months. The carers go above and beyond, always treating residents with dignity and respect. They take the time to get to know each individual - their likes, routines, and stories - which makes all the difference.

The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the garden is a peaceful place for residents to relax or spend time with visiting family. The food is varied and nutritious, and tailored to personal needs. What stands out most is the sense of community. There are regular activities and events that keep residents engaged and up. I couldn't believe the quality of life they gave her in the end and the continued support for my family.

You urgently need to install air conditioning in bedrooms on fifth floor. It is not luxury living for an elderly person to be living in these conditions in 30 degree summer heat. I would not put my dog in conditions like this. The air conditioned entrance with new carpet looks flash, but visit the fifth
floor bedrooms and the story is very different. Under the glitzy surface is cheap freezer food and non 'luxury' living for vulnerable elderly people.
This is not a purpose built care home.... Food trolleys and workmen travel in the same lifts as the residents. There is no service lift. Only one lift goes to floor 5 and when it breaks residents have to walk up the stairs.
The amazing staff are the reason for all the good reviews you see on this site. Care staff are too stretched and they are understaffed, hence my 3 stars for Care. This is no reflection on the staff. More investment is required.
Reply from Dominic North, Client Liaison Manager at Signature Bentley House

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry aspects of your experience did not meet expectations and appreciate your kind words about our team - their compassion and commitment to residents is something we're proud of. While individual bedrooms do not have built-in air conditioning (in line with sector practice), all communal areas are fully air-conditioned. In warmer periods, we closely monitor residents' comfort and provide portable units where needed. As a converted building, we recognise lift access limitations, but have clear contingency plans and staff support in place. Residents always have priority use of the lift, which all staff understand and respect.

is ideal for someone with dementia who wants the freedom to move around, The place is purpose built & well designed to stimulate memories and calmness. He feels the whole team are his friends. I would like to say a huge thanks.

SATURDAY FIESTA - June 21st 2025.
I am writing on behalf of my family to congratulate everyone involved in such a great event last Saturday afternoon, and to thank all the staff for all the hard work that went into making it such a success, despite difficult weather conditions. We all really enjoyed
it. It was a perfect show case for the amazing happy family atmosphere that you manage to create at Willow View.

I have been staying at the Signature Care Home in Ascot for the last 2 weeks. It is an excellent choice as I am in recovery from a hip fracture. Very luxurious with wonderful caring staff. Room is excellent and so quiet. Food is very nice and a range of activities are available during the day. Very
peaceful location. Highly recommend.

My mother was at Signature for 4 weeks respite/rehabilitation and I felt very relieved & content to leave her in such beautiful surroundings with a team of very caring staff. The carers and nurses were always on hand to assist and spend time with both residents and their families alike. Residents are
treated with dignity and the staff ensure they are kept active and engaged.

He moved in last Thursday evening & since then he has been recovering slowly. Last weekend was very challenging & despite the weekend the nurse was outstanding, she knew exactly what we wanted for him & acted professionally & promptly, with empathy.
