My mother-in-law was previously living in another nursing home where, sadly, the lack of care, interaction and enrichment left her becoming increasingly sad and withdrawn. Moving her to Signature at Hornchurch has completely changed our experience of what a care home can be.
From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The facilities are absolutely stunning - it feels more like walking into a five-star hotel than a care home - but what really sets Signature apart is the people.
My mother-in-law is spoken to like a person. The staff take the time to talk to her, listen to her and include her. They are attentive, caring and genuinely seem happy in their work, which comes across in everything they do. She is encouraged to leave her room, join in with activities and be part of the community rather than simply being cared for.
The food is amazing and, after previously losing weight, she has already put on half a stone in the relatively short time she has been at Signature.
This is so lovely to hear, we are really proud to be looking after your mother-in-law and giving her the quality of life she truly deserves.
I moved my sister to Signature after she spent 3 weeks at another, differently owned, carehome. She was moved from hospital and left for 3 weeks in bed. The experience here has been amazing; she is now out of bed everyday, putting on weight; having regular Physio which has resulted in her now being able to stand. The care here is excellent - both from carers and non-medical staff. She feels valued and respected; this is now her home. She has made friends, joins in activities and is enjoying life.
Thank you for your kind words. Its amazing to see your lovely sister making such progress and being so happy. Lots more wonderful memories to be made.
I cannot rate signature at Hornchurch highly enough from the first day my mother arrived, its been nothing short of exceptional. All the staff, whether reception, maintenace or housekeeping are all so friendly and approachable, they cannot do enough to help. My mother is so happy here, and to know she is being looked after in such a lovely, caring environment by such amazing staff is a very nice feeling. I 100% recommend signature at hc.
These are such lovely words and we are so proud. Your mum is an asset to our beautiful home, and your family is very much part of ours.
The gardens are also very nice to look out on, and sit in when it's not so hot!
Thanks David. We are so pleased you are happy. Its wonderful to see how Eileen has flourished.
My mum had a truly great respite stay here. The home was spotless throughout, with a clean, calm atmosphere that immediately put us both at ease. Every member of staff was fantastic, they were all so kind, attentive and genuinely caring. They made my mum feel comfortable, supported and valued from the moment she arrived. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands, and we're incredibly grateful for the excellent care she received. Highly recommended.
Thank you. Your mum is a real pleasure to have around and she makes our home an even happier one.
As a family, we now have real peace of mind knowing Mum is safe, comfortable and receiving such high-quality care. The professionalism and warmth shown by everyone has made a huge difference during what has been a very challenging time for us.
Thank you to all the staff at Signature Care Home Hornchurch for your dedication and outstanding care. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend your home to anyone look

Would like to come back
I have experience of many care homes, Signature Hornchurch is by far the best I have ever visited. Put simply, it has been faultless, not just because it is new, but because the people and standards are outstanding. The food is restaurant standard with great menu choices, they are so friendly and welcoming, with excellent care + physio as well. I'd be happy to live here myself, which is the highest recommendation I can give.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. Happy to have you with us whenever you are ready :)
fantastic place, all the staff are super friendly and attentive my nan loves it here and it is so nice to know she's being taken care of properly. The facilities are amazing - she is particularly blown away by the cinema room. It is so lovely here that we keep joking I might move in.
I am so pleased that your nan is having a wonderful time. We love looking after her and its always great to see you as a family
Mum received an amazing red carpet welcome from the team. Kind and caring staff, wonderful food and beautiful surroundings. What's not to love?
Thank you so much for letting us look after your lovely mum. See you soon.
I wish to commend the highly moving welcome which my mother received during her arrival at the beautiful Signature Hornchurch care home. It was a most special moment which my mother and I will treasure forever. The facilities are outstanding and the staff encourage the residents to make good use of the facilities. The care and support which the staff provide to all the residents is excellent. I am highly impressed with the kindness and the high standards of professionalism demonstrated by the staff. My mother is happy and comfortable at this home, and she enjoys visits to the communal areas, the gardens and the restaurant. It is a truly wonderful care home.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in dementia care within care homes across the South East, working closely with residents, families, and care teams to ensure each individual is supported as a whole person, not solely based on physical needs. I believe exceptional care is built on empathy, patience, and meaningful human connection, with a strong focus on preserving familiarity, comfort, and routine.
I pride myself on providing a luxury standard of care while maintaining residents’ independence, dignity, and sense of self. My holistic approach recognises the importance of emotional wellbeing, personal choice, and creating environments where residents feel safe, valued, and truly at home - something I am excited to bring to Signature at Hornchurch.

I have worked in care for over 15 years and am a registered nurse with experience in the NHS, particularly within a busy A&E department. For the past five years, I have worked as a Deputy Manager within luxury nursing homes.
