My career in care started in 2013, it has been a privilege that most of my journey has been with Signature Care Homes. During this time, I gained and developed my skills as a Residential Care Manager, working in different Signature homes and I am now delighted to move into the role of General Manager at Farnham Common. I am passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring our values are promoted by all our staff members, so we maintain excellent standards in all our day-to-day activities. By being a positive role model within the Home, I hope to share this passion, working alongside, supporting my team, and building caring relationships with all our residents and respective families.
At Farnham Common, we have a real understanding of how important it is to demonstrate passion and empathy when supporting our residents with their care needs, naturally tailoring our approach each time to reflect their individuality.
As a General Manager, I am motivated to support all in enhancing our service, making our Home truly remarkable.
I’ve been working in the healthcare industry for 15 years now. I’m a licensed nurse in both the United Kingdom and the Philippines. My journey in nursing began in 2003 in the Philippines. I successfully earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and passed the nursing licensing exam, which officially launched my healthcare career. My passion for nursing and healthcare and my desire to continue my education led me to move to the UK to pursue my dream of becoming a globally competitive nurse. I have had diverse and enriching experiences working in various roles in hospitals and care homes, which have helped me develop my expertise in both clinical practice and management. I am thrilled to have been offered the position of Clinical Services Manager at Signature Farnham Common. To me, this role is more than just a job: it is an opportunity to be a part of an organisation that genuinely cares about its residents, their loved ones and the team members. I am eagerly looking forward to continuing my journey of professional growth and learning with this incredible team, as I remain dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing of the residents.
I have worked in the care sector for the past 11 years, specialising in Dementia care. Supporting people living with Dementia is not just a profession for me — it’s a true passion.
Over the years, I have received extensive training in alternative, non-medication-based therapies to help manage behavioural changes and enhance quality of life for those in my care. I firmly believe in the power of person-centred care to enrich the lives of individuals living with Dementia, and this remains at the heart of everything I do.
I am both delighted and grateful to be offered the role of Dementia Care Manager at Signature at Farnham Common. I am excited to join the Signature family and look forward to building strong relationships with our residents' loved ones, collaborating with relatives and my team, and sharing ideas to further improve the wellbeing of those entrusted to our care.

I have worked in the care sector for many years, I started in my 20s at the Epilepsy Centre in Chalfont St Peter. After a career diversion into retail, and then later as an Administrator with the National Trust, Signature offered me the opportunity to return to the care sector, firstly as an Administrator, then Clinical Administrator and then Residential Care Manager. I later joined a specialist team to implement a new system for the whole of Signature Group, a project I am very proud to have been part of. I am now excited to work at our lovely new home in Farnham Common as a Business Admin Manager and use my qualification in CIPD Level 5 in HR. I look forward to supporting all of my colleagues in their journey at Farnham Common.
I have worked in catering now for nearly 30 years, starting out at a local pub as a waitress, then moving on to be a chef in the RAF, to running my own pubs then going on to work for Heston Blumenthal, Pierre Koffman and Odds Farm as Food and Beverage Manager. I am very passionate about all things food and beverage. I am looking forward to making sure our residents will be well-looked-after and genuinely cared for while delivering a five-star service.
I have worked in the food and hospitality industry from an early age. My journey originally started off as a child when on holidays abroad with family with the passion I felt for all of the different cuisines I was fortunate enough to experience along with being at home with my grandparents with traditionally cooked food - trying to help but often just in the way! In 2006, I started working for a gastro-pub company and attended professional culinary school. From here, it began professionally. I spent several years doing this whilst learning what this crazy world of hospitality was all about and I just loved it. I was getting to learn, have fun and cook great recipes. As I developed as a leader and chef, I was appointed to my first position of Head Chef, of which I was very proud. After some time with this group, my culinary journey took me into the independent restaurant world, and it was here where I really started to grow as a personality and Chef and really start to hone my craft. I learnt so much more than just recipes and the balancing of flavours, I learnt everything I needed in life. I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity of Head Chef with Signature, but what can I say other than I feel privileged to be able to take this fantastic opportunity to meet everyone old and new and make a genuine difference in the residents' lives here in their home, giving them a balanced, nutritious daily diet whilst dropping little treats of naughtiness into their day here and there. You will always find me chatting and getting to know people and just generally enjoying the day.
I am responsible for the health and safety of our residents, team members and visitors. I have had the privilege of working for over 5 years in the care sector. The previous nursing home, where I worked for 4.5 years as a Maintenance Manager, received an outstanding rating from the CQC in all five areas, which I hope to achieve again with our team at Farnham Common. I like helping people live independently and with dignity, despite their age and health, and with our team at Farnham Common we aim to create a homely atmosphere with a safe and happy environment for our residents and their loved ones.
