The building is first class as is the care provided by the staff who are extremely friendly and create a great personal, family like atmosphere.


My mother recently celebrated her 100th birthday in the home and the party that they organise for her was exceptional

We have found the transition from 24 hr care at home,to our relative moving into Signature at Farnham Common,seamless.This was made possible, by being able to bring him there once a week for a coffee and a game of mini snooker,whilst discussing the best way to move forward,with advice from the Client
Liaison Manager.The moving in process was very well handled and stress free and he now has an en suite room,with all his own furniture and favourite momentos in.
All the staff have been very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Plenty of activities are on offer,including boat trips on the river,accessed via the home's minibus.
Visiting is straightforward and relatives can relax and have free coffee and tea in the cafe.There is a wide variety of meals available to the residents and the standard is very high.Our relative has made a lot of friends,both with other residents and carers and now says he is much happier in a vibrant home,than he was at his own address.

My sister has been in Signature, Farnham common for 2 years, and it has always been a friendly, well run , efficient place with excellent care and nursing staff. My Sister is very content and enjoys the company and activities, the staff always make me feel very welcome when I visit and they keep me
updated with her changing needs. There is always a nice atmosphere in the lovely well catered for coffee shop.

Since moving to Signature mum has received excellent care from experienced and dedicated staff. The whole team are friendly, happy and caring providing a calm and protective environment. Great attention is paid to keeping the residents engaged in daily activities and frequent outings and entertainment.
All aspects of care are given to a high standard. It is a pleasure to visit mum at Signature and gives great peace of mind to know that she is so well cared for.

From my father almost dying by lack of care in hospital, Signature staff have nursed him back to health. From not walking, he can now, with a walker, walk over 100 yds. Carers are kind, sympathetic, knowledgeable, fun and caring. He would return at any time.

My husband has been a Signature FC since August 2023. My daughter and I had viewed many homes and were feeling very discouraged when, on a very wet Sunday afternoon, we went into Signature. The wonderful welcome received, the help that was forthcoming from that moment onwards to date, is why I am so
reassured that my husband is loved and cared for by all staff. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and dedication that he receives. Communication with me by staff is fantastic. I can't thank the staff at Signature enough for the exceptional care and quality of life they provide for my Mum and Dad who are both in advanced stages of dementia.
Without any exaggeration, I honestly believe the loving care they receive, the relationships they've built and the exceptional daily
experiences they provide, have not only kept my parents alive but provided a richness to their days which once seemed impossible to imagine, under the circumstances of their illness.

Both of my parents are now resident at Signature, my mum has been with them almost two years, my father 6 months; sadly both have dementia but require a different approach to their care.
I cannot praise the management or care teams enough. The management team are efficient, visible and empathetic.
The care team are fantastic with the residents; putting your loved ones into the hands of someone else is extremely difficult and takes a great deal of trust and I am forever grateful that I am able to leave after every visit knowing my parents are so well cared for. The patience and kindness shown to the residents by the care staff is second to none and the activities team work tirelessly to ensure there is plenty to do for those who wish to join in the fun. The facilities are excellent and always clean thanks to the work of the housekeeping and catering staff.
This home is second to none!

Mum is so much happier in this care home than the last one. The staff are fantastic and very caring of her and we as a family, are delighted that Mum is finally settled. Two staff members in particular deserve a special mention, but all the staff are great.

I have recently visited a family member in Signature Farnham Common and I can not express how happy he is there. It's so nice to see him surrounded by staff who genuinely care for his well-being. He has built many caring relationships within the home with other residents and it's so nice to see, it

My mother-in-law has been at Signature Farnham Common for nearly a year now. I can say that we are so pleased with how they are helping us to look after her. The staff are splendid, from the receptionist to the nurse team and managers. When we have identified any concerns they have been remedied immediately.

The place looks and feels much more like a high quality hotel than a care home. I couldn't wish for nicer surroundings for my mother. All of the staff (including front desk & waitresses) plus the residents are extremely kind and friendly and the level of care has so far exceeded my expectations. Everyone
seems to go the extra mile. The assessment process was quick and painless, as was moving in and they have immediately taken over all medications and registration with the local GP
In particular the Client Liaison Manager and a particular lady from the nursing staff are incredibly supportive and caring.
The combination of the premises itself and the welcoming staff make it a very nice place for my mother to live and for family and friends to visit.
Most importantly my mum couldn't be happier.

My father has been a resident since March 2024. During that time he has had several spells in hospital. He thoroughly enjoys being a president. His room is clean, tidy and well-equipped. He takes part in organised activities and enjoys the facilities on the ground floor. The food is excellent and the
menu is well-varied. The level of care he receives is excellent and he has a good rapport with carers, staff and management. One negative, it can sometimes take too long for carers to attend to my dad once he activates his alarm.

When paying the high cost of a luxury care home, you expect near-perfection. Things go wrong, of course, but you expect them to be sorted out efficiently when identified. In my experience, this is not always the case, but happily, at Signature at Farnham Common, it is. The management team is fantastic,
the carers are worthy of the name, and every member of staff, without exception, is friendly and goes out of their way to make the residents and families happy. They dealt quietly and calmly with all Mum's needs, leaving us without worry.
If they had suites, rather than studios, Mum would have moved in sooner. But her 5 months there were very happy, and she put on some much-needed weight due to the great food, not to mention her daily glass of wine!
In the end, the staff respected her wishes not to go to hospital and made sure she was comfortable, pain-free, and surrounded with love. They looked after us so well too and made an emotional and difficult time as easy as possible.

I've been visiting a friend at Signature since last August and can honestly say I have found every member of staff most pleasant and helpful. I have only seen my friend's room which is small but nice so I don't feel I can give an honest opinion of rooms. The same is true of food, I've never tasted any
so cannot give an honest opinion. I don't know how much it is so have not rated value for money. I love the reception area and the fact that there is a cinema and a pub. It is the best care home I have ever seen.

I have worked in the care sector for many years, I started in my 20s at the Epilepsy Centre in Chalfont St Peter. After a career diversion into retail, and then later as an Administrator with the National Trust, Signature offered me the opportunity to return to the care sector, firstly as an Administrator, then Clinical Administrator and then Residential Care Manager. I later joined a specialist team to implement a new system for the whole of Signature Group, a project I am very proud to have been part of. I am now excited to work at our lovely new home in Farnham Common as a Business Admin Manager and use my qualification in CIPD Level 5 in HR. I have worked in the food and hospitality industry from an early age. My journey originally started off as a child when on holidays abroad with family with the passion I felt for all of the different cuisines I was fortunate enough to experience along with being at home with my grandparents with traditionally cooked food - trying to help but often just in the way! In 2006, I started working for a gastro-pub company and attended professional culinary school. From here, it began professionally. I spent several years doing this whilst learning what this crazy world of hospitality was all about and I just loved it. I was getting to learn, have fun and cook great recipes. As I developed as a leader and chef, I was appointed to my first position of Head Chef, of which I was very proud. After some time with this group, my culinary journey took me into the independent restaurant world, and it was here where I really started to grow as a personality and Chef and really start to hone my craft. I learnt so much more than just recipes and the balancing of flavours, I learnt everything I needed in life. I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity of Head Chef with Signature, but what can I say other than I feel privileged to be able to take this fantastic opportunity to meet everyone old and new and make a genuine difference in the residents' lives here in their home, giving them a balanced, nutritious daily diet whilst dropping little treats of naughtiness into their day here and there. You will always find me chatting and getting to know people and just generally enjoying the day.
