I am the Client Liaison Coordinator here at Signature at Farnham Common, supporting prospective residents and loved ones in their search for care. I will meet them to help and assist through what can be an emotional time. I will be there to offer my full support and guidance in their search as well as being a listening ear.
I have been a valued member of the Signature family for over 15 years, building my career from the ground up. I began my journey with the company as a Kitchen Assistant, where I developed a strong work ethic, a passion for food, and a clear understanding of the importance of quality and care in every meal.
Through dedication and commitment, I moved to another care home within the group, progressing into a Chef role. I later stepped into the position of Sous Chef, where I continued to grow—refining my leadership skills, expanding my culinary knowledge, and supporting the development of those around me.
Now, as Head Chef, I bring years of hands-on experience, loyalty, and pride to the role. I am passionate about leading my team, creating nutritious and comforting meals, and maintaining consistently high standards across the kitchen. I have worked in the care sector for many years, I started in my 20s at the Epilepsy Centre in Chalfont St Peter. After a career diversion into retail, and then later as an Administrator with the National Trust, Signature offered me the opportunity to return to the care sector, firstly as an Administrator, then Clinical Administrator and then Residential Care Manager. I later joined a specialist team to implement a new system for the whole of Signature Group, a project I am very proud to have been part of. I am now excited to work at our lovely new home in Farnham Common as a Business Admin Manager and use my qualification in CIPD Level 5 in HR. I look forward to supporting all of my colleagues in their journey at Farnham Common.
I am responsible for the health and safety of our residents, team members and visitors. I have had the privilege of working for over 5 years in the care sector. The previous nursing home, where I worked for 4.5 years as a Maintenance Manager, received an outstanding rating from the CQC in all five areas, which I hope to achieve again with our team at Farnham Common. I like helping people live independently and with dignity, despite their age and health, and with our team at Farnham Common we aim to create a homely atmosphere with a safe and happy environment for our residents and their loved ones.
