Overall Experience
My mum entered Farnham Common Care Home in December.
The member of staff who we initially spoke to arranging for my mum to reside at the home helped enormously, which enabled her to settle in so quickly. All the staff were so caring and helpful but I would like to say that the staff member who is my mum's main carer is excellent, and I thank her on behalf of the family for all that she does for my mum. Also, I would like to mention another staff member for all her hard work and kindness she has given to my mum.

Thank you so much, Signature!

The staff at Signature have been excellent. My mother-in-law has a couple of minor health issues but they have been dealt with professionally and with care. Since moving into the home, she looks much better and is in better spirits in general. She is happier and calmer, less stressed. We are happy with the care being given.

Overall Experience

My mother moved into the Signature care home at Farnham Common a month ago. We, as a family, have found the experience very positive. The rooms are clean, well-decorated and comfortable. Mum's carers have been kind, caring and willing to go the extra mile. The nursing care has been excellent, and we feel that Mum is in safe hands. There is a full activities programme, and Mum has enjoyed the social aspect of the facilities on offer. There is a very friendly atmosphere present.

Overall Experience

My mum came to live at Signature at Farnham Common soon after it opened, having endured a serious fall last September in Sheffield and travelled from there in a private ambulance. When she arrived, she was frail, confused, and not eating very much. In just over seven weeks, the changes in my mum have been remarkable: she has put on weight, is visibly enjoying her food, and has recovered a good deal of her spark and 'old personality'. A significant factor in these improvements, I am in no doubt, is the outstanding environment and experience created by Signature. The building design and construction are first-rate (the interior has a 'village' feel), the food is superb (including for visitors!), and most importantly, the nursing and care and other services are of a consistently high standard. There's a high quality of care and professional compliance, not one at the expense of the other. Well done, Signature at Farnham Common, and thank you.

It was a hard decision to have Mummy come to stay with you, but I need not have worried. The care and kindness from all of the staff are exceptional - at a new level. I am so grateful that Mummy is now comfortable, cosy and beautifully cared for in her last few months. I will always be grateful to you all. Thank you.

My career in care started in 2013; it has been a privilege that most of my journey has been with Signature Care Homes. During this time, I gained and developed my skills as a Residential Care Manager, working in different Signature homes, and I am now delighted to move into the role of General Manager at Farnham Common. I am passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring our values are promoted by all our staff members, so we maintain excellent standards in all our day-to-day activities. I’ve been working in the healthcare industry for 15 years now. I’m a licensed nurse in both the United Kingdom and the Philippines. My journey in nursing began in 2003 in the Philippines. I successfully earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and passed the nursing licensing exam, which officially launched my healthcare career. My passion for nursing and healthcare and my desire to continue my education led me to move to the UK to pursue my dream of becoming a globally competitive nurse. I have had diverse and enriching experiences working in various roles in hospitals and care homes, which have helped me develop my expertise in both clinical practice and management. I am thrilled to have been offered the position of Clinical Services Manager at Signature Farnham Common. To me, this role is more than just a job: it is an opportunity to be a part of an organisation that genuinely cares about its residents, their loved ones and the team members. I am eagerly looking forward to continuing my journey of professional growth and learning with this incredible team, as I remain dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing of the residents.

I am passionate about leading and supporting my team to deliver care rooted in kindness, patience, respect and genuine human connection.

I have been a valued member of the Signature family for over 15 years, building my career from the ground up. I began my journey with the company as a Kitchen Assistant, where I developed a strong work ethic, a passion for food, and a clear understanding of the importance of quality and care in every meal.

Through dedication and commitment, I moved to another care home within the group, progressing into a Chef role. Now, as Head Chef, I bring years of hands-on experience, loyalty, and pride to the role. I have worked in the care sector for many years. I started in my 20s at the Epilepsy Centre in Chalfont St Peter. After a career diversion into retail, and then later as an Administrator with the National Trust, Signature offered me the opportunity to return to the care sector, firstly as an Administrator, then Clinical Administrator and then Residential Care Manager. I later joined a specialist team to implement a new system for the whole of Signature Group, a project I am very proud to have been part of. I am now excited to work at our lovely new home in Farnham Common as a Business Admin Manager and use my qualification in CIPD Level 5 in HR. I look forward to supporting all of my colleagues in their journey at Farnham Common.
