I have been a resident for the last six months at Reigate Grange and have been very happy here. I'm full of praise for the management and staff. I'm impressed with the runnings of Reigate Grange. My stay has been very successful, and I have received help, support and understanding in dealing with all
my problems after an extremely nasty fall. I cannot fault any member of staff, and I'm full of praise for the professional runnings of the environment.

When visiting the home, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. From the moment I entered, there was a warm and friendly atmosphere with lots of residents engaging in a group crossword. My friend has nothing but praise for the staff at Reigate Grange and has said that although this was a
tricky decision, it has been a great one!

I have only been staying at Reigate Grange for just over a week. I must say, I am very impressed. Everything about the place is first class, rooms, staff, food etc. I could not be looked after any better and have already extended my stay for a further two weeks with the possibility of becoming a resident.
Congratulations to all who help to run the place.

Reigate Grange has been very helpful from the start in taking my mum in straight from hospital and organising everything that does with it, taking a lot of stress off my shoulders. People are so friendly and helped my mum settle in quickly; she's happy there now. The restaurant and food are excellent,
and the level of care received is fantastic. I can't fault the staff from carers to management. I've found their service to be great and would recommend anyone. Loved to stay.
Reply from Julie Le May, Client Liaison Manager at Signature at Reigate GrangeThank you so much for your amazing review. Reigate Grange has proved to do be outstanding with the care of our 97-year-old mother particularly in the unprecedented time of lockdown. She has been beautifully loved and cared for by exceptional carers, well occupied by the activity staff and nourished by top quality food. All in all, she has 2
wonderful years, very happy and content years at this amazing care home. Thank you to all the staff

Very good friends of mine now live there. They are a couple and have different needs. They live in one apartment together. They are elderly and frail. They are very happy there. They tell me that they love the staff and the activities and the other people who live there are now friends.
Reply from Sarah-Jane Carpenter, General Manager at Signature at Reigate GrangeThank you so much for your review. It is so important for us to be able to have couples continue to live together when they join us. We always want to replicate as near as possible, what life was like in one's own home.

I am an independent social worker who has two clients living at Reigate Grange. I have been involved with the home since it first opened and no matter what, the managers and their staff team delivery consistent, person-centred, high-quality care and support to their residents. The home itself is a
delight to spend time in and provides a lovely homely environment on all floors. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the communal areas are inviting and fun. But it's not all looks with Reigate Grange, it goes so much deeper. All the staff are totally dedicated to those they are supporting. They all know each resident's likes and dislikes, past history, families etc, that their care is always truly person-centred. If a relative of mine were to need to go into a care home, I would choose Reigate Grange above any other. Highly recommended.

My mother moved into Reigate Grange, Hilltops (Dementia Suite), on the 25th March, after being at our family home for 55 years, and right bang in the middle of this horrific pandemic which meant I couldn't visit her! The staff have been simply brilliant during this difficult time as they have had to
cancel all extra outside help so have had to do a multitude of jobs including arranging pyjama parties and VE day, and they still come into work with a smile on their face saying how much they love their job!
The carers are all like angels - each and every one of them goes over and above each day - they put their life and soul into their job, they are kind, compassionate and extremely intuitive and boy oh boy they know how to give the inmates a fun time! They are all an absolute asset to Reigate Grange and I am very lucky that this is my mother's new home. And when this pandemic is over they all deserve a medal and a big party! The staff are simply the very best! Thank you

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.832)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.832) out of 10 for Signature at Reigate Grange is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 38 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 38 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.832 for Signature at Reigate Grange is calculated as follows: ( (390 Excellents x 5) + (54 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 453 Ratings = 4.832
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Signature at Reigate Grange is based on 38 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 95 registered maximum number of service users is 19, which has been reached with 38 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
