Highest recommendation: my Mum was taken into Shelbourne for assessment after being admitted into hospital with dementia. She has now been with them for 7 months and the care received, and improvement in her comfort and condition, can only be described as outstanding. The staff show care and
consideration in all things they do, from the medical side of managing some of my Mum's more complex needs, to the meticulous agenda of activities and entertainment, in which Mum participates in with relish! Whilst the day-to-day carers have consistently demonstrated compassion, patience and an uplifting air of positivity, the office staff (lead by Sophie) have been a valued source of guidance and advice in helping me navigate the administrative side of her condition ...even offering tea and an understanding ear when I have felt a bit overwhelmed. My Dad has (mild) dementia too and they have looked after him brilliantly when visiting, even providing him with hot meals logistical support.
