View Full Details of The Hamptons Care CentreMy mother has been a resident of The Hamptons for 18 months now. She has Parkinson's with Dementia and is completely bed ridden now. My wife and I visit her at least once a week at different times and cannot speak highly enough about the care she receives from all the staff in the Dementia wing. My mother has recently been assessed for full CHC care and I cannot speak highly enough about Sue and Lauren who participated in the assessment and were extremely professional as well as caring throughout. I think everyone at the Hamptons do a fantastic job.
My father moved into the Lytham care home shortly after my Mother's passing on Christmas Day I live in Australia and I am his only close relative so you can imagine the stress and turmoil my father experienced I managed to arrive in Lytham within 48 hours and so the difficult journey began for Dad He didn't want to leave home but was incapable of cooking shopping and usual daily tasks So after traumatic discussions we decided a Care home was the only answer so I had to find one initially my Dad was in a good home suggested by a couple of neighbours however after about a week I decided I wasn't happy with the care and attitude of some staff members I moved him to the Hamptons which we now call his hotel and difference in the two homes is dramatic My Dad is extremely happy at the Hamptons Lytham because he has a beautiful room excellent food and wonderful daily care and medical attention I believe the quality of any business comes from the top Sara the manager is outstanding
My dad had a very comfortable 16 month stay at The Hamptons. When he came (March 2024) he didn't know what to expect but the staff made him feel valued & "at home" from day one. That was helped by the facilities - from the very well appointed rooms to the bright and welcoming communal areas and the spacious dining area. My dad very much enjoyed the company and companionship with other residents when taking meals. We recently decided to move him to a new care home to be closer to me - but time will tell if the new home's staff will be quite as caring, efficient and diligent as they were at the Hamptons. This is a nice forum in which to say "thanks so much" to the staff and management at the Hamptons.in short -i It's a lovely care home.
From my first enquiry to the final visit, I was met with the highest standards of care and professionalism. The office guided me through all the paperwork, the nursing staff were outstanding, and the catering team even offered me a cup of tea at the most difficult times. My father was treated with dignity from start to finish. It was a pleasure to visit for us all.
The staff have handled Mum's move into care with the utmost professionalism and compassion, spending time reassuring both her and our family about even the smallest of details. Nobody likes having to put a loved one into care, but dementia means that this is unavoidable in this case. The facilities are excellent and the respect and care afforded to Mum is the best we could possibly get, especially in distressing circumstances. Thank you to all the staff.
Very satisfactory. Caring, kind, friendly and professional staff. A very safe place to reside.
Upon walking into the Hampton's Care Home, it reminds you of a five star hotel, and to back this up the staff are also five star !!! My Father-in-Law was a resident briefly there a week ago and his care was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. You were greeted warmly on every occasion you visited. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the entertainment programs were varied and interesting and residents were encouraged to take part. The food was amazing and all dietary requests were adhered to and there was plenty of choice. Sadly my Father-in-Law passed away there in their loving care, and once again can I repeat how dignified and compassionate the staff were to the family. I simply would not hesitate in recommending this Care Home to anyone in need, as this is simply the best Care Home I have ever visited.
Being a fit and healthy man into his 90s, my father was always highly averse to entering a care home. However, following a hip fracture at 93 it was no longer realistic for him to be safely looked after by his family, and after considering various homes he became a resident in January 2024. Fortunately, Dad adapted much more readily than anticipated, partly because of the impressive facilities, but mainly because of the superb quality of care provided. In any residential setting it is the ethos upheld by those who work there who determine how good a place it is, and my father and I have always been impressed by the professionalism, availability and friendliness of the staff, whatever their various roles. Indeed, after a fortnight in hospital this year, Dad was very anxious to be able to return for end-of-life care from those whom he knew and respected, and his final three weeks were filled with care, compassion and empathy, both for Dad and for me. The Hamptons can't be faulted.
The Hamptons is home from home. The staff are so caring, loving and professional to my dad. Nothing is too much trouble at all. The food choice is so good. The place is clean and refreshing when you walk through the door! (No smell of urine!) I have looked at many care homes in the Fylde Coast and this one is 'simply the best'. Thank you.
My mother-in-law has been a resident at Hamptons Care Centre since November. It is lovely to see how well cared for she is by the staff team and to listen to her describe the excellent care that she is receiving. She has a sparkle in her eyes and she looks so well cared for. It is a massive relief for us and lovely to watch her thrive.
Unfortunately my aunt recently passed away after a long illness. But I would like to say over the 3 years she has been at the home the levels of care and support she has received have been first-class. The staff from front of house on reception, actual care staff and auxiliary members all could not have been better. The understanding and help over her final days and post-passing have been of a great comfort to us. I would certainly recommend the home if asked. Once again thanks for everything.
My husband was in The Hamptons Care Centre for 3 months and was treated in a totally excellent way. Staff were totally professional, caring and friendly. The same nurse was on duty for 3 days prior and on day of his death, he ensured he was not in pain, gave meds when he was agitated. He and my husband had a great rapport which was great to see. The night sister was on duty when he died and was with my husband when he died. All staff were 100% superb and I couldn't have asked for more.
Absolutely tremendous, facility is spotless, warm, and extremely well-presented. The staff are the best part by far, they care very much about our Mum and are very easy to talk to. You really feel part of the team, all working towards the best care for Mum. It couldn't have been any better so far and I would highly recommend everybody and everything about The Hamptons Hotel for OAPS.
Mum has been in The Hamptons since December 2023. We have found all the staff lovely and helpful. All staff know Mum and we are updated frequently on how she is. Nothing is too much trouble whether its to lend an ear about how Mum is doing to financial worries. We are all so pleased that Mum has settled in and happy in her environment with caring people all around her, can't recommend highly enough.
The rooms, facilities, food and cleanliness of the home make the first excellent impression. The care, in terms of dignity and understanding given to residents, is equally impressive. I too, have benefitted from the friendliness of staff staff and other residents. Their empathy too, in the final stages of my husband's life has been greatly appreciated.
After my brother's acceptance into The Hamptons as a nursing care resident, we were struck by the professionalism, general care and concern for my brother's well being in a totally welcoming atmosphere. It was evident that my brother was contented and considered the staff as almost friends and family. He enjoyed the friendly banter and patience of the staff with him as he was totally dependent on them for every aspect of his physical needs, including having to be fed all his meals. He thoroughly appreciated the three square meals each day, which were augmented by the odd snack, even in the middle of the night as and when he was hungry! The nurses on duty were always willing to update me on any changes or other aspects of my brother's care needing attention. Visitors always commented about the good atmosphere and pleasant demeanour of the staff, whose support to me was especially invaluable during my brother's final days. We highly recommend The Hamptons to any prospective resident.
It was a huge relief to know that Mum was once again being looked after by people who genuinely cared. From the moment we walked through the door we could sense the lovely atmosphere - very warm, friendly, and positive. The team made Mum feel so welcome and a part of the Hampton's family. We are delighted to say that the quality of care and comfort continues to exceed our high expectations and the attentiveness, and approachability of all the team was once again exceptional. The home is pristine, facilities flawless, activities varied, services, and nutrition first rate. The social interaction is outstanding. Mum was there for a period of respite and told everyone that if she ever has to move into a home this is the one she would choose - a high recommendation from an independent 93-year-old.
Having had experience visiting other care homes in a certain area. I was warmly surprised and welcomed. My visit to The Hamptons Care Centre to visit my friend and neighbour. Upon arrival inside to the reception desk, other staff guided me around to my friend's room and along parts of the home. The warmth and pleasantness of all was exceptional. Thank you! Rooms and corridors all with superb cleanliness. Well done. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Staff are encouraging and respectful of their guests. Always ready to help.
The Hamptons is an excellent and superbly run care home with outstanding standards throughout. All the staff are extremely professional in their approach to care and general well-being, especially in the dementia Ward, where my husband was situated. When palliative care was needed, the special team of nurses provided exceptional support to my husband and to all our family. We could not be more grateful. He has received the most professional, caring and dedicated care we could possibly wish for. All the staff have been outstanding. From the beginning, the guidance and understanding were exemplary. They were so supportive and compassionate and made the whole process of him leaving home and being in care more manageable.
