I would thoroughly recommend Broomfield Lodge!
My Dad was well cared for at all times during the last 4 months of his life. Knowing that all the staff were so kind and attentive towards him was so reassuring to us.
As a family, we were also very welcomed each time we visited and were always offered
a drink.
Dad's room was lovely and all the home cooked food was always enjoyed!
We will be eternally grateful to all staff for all their support, love and care.

Absolutely brilliant care given to my mum, the staff all knew what was happening with her. They were unfailingly kind and communicated with me constantly. Their end-of-life care was compassionate to Mum and the family. No "visiting times", it really was her home albeit for a few months. Had a wonderful
birthday celebration a month before she died and they were so involved. Thoroughly recommend.

This is not just 'a care home' - it's my mother's home. She is treated with respect, dignity and a great deal of care and love. The place is always bright and cheerful. They have an open-door policy and I always feel welcomed. All the residents have 'needs' of their own and they look happy and content.
I know my mother is well looked after in their care and kept safe.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was struck by the smiling, happy, family-friendly atmosphere at the home. My mother moved in direct from a spell in hospital and every member of staff helped with this transition by treating her with deep kindness, patience and professionalism. Family and friends
are welcome at any time and it soon feels like you are joining a large new family. My mother has never found it easy to socialise but is responding well to the companionship of others (both residents and staff) and very much enjoys the many and varied activities on offer. It is also a great comfort to us that she benefits from easily accessible medical attention, support and monitoring.
My sister and I are delighted to have found Bluebells Care Home and couldn't imagine a better place for our dear mother to be now that she is too frail to live independently.

I came to the home on Friday 20th December, the day of the Christmas party.
The Christmas atmosphere generated for the residents was fantastic. The entertainment provided for the party was first-class with some great interaction by the singer with the residents. All the residents appeared to enjoy
the afternoon with each resident being made to feel special.
Congratulations to the staff for putting on a special day.
Thank you to you all.

Since Mum moved in two weeks ago, after spending months in hospital, she has improved so much, especially her mental capacity and recall. A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness, care and building her confidence. They have gone above and beyond to find out what makes her happy and how she
is feeling. It is such a relief to know she is so well taken care of. If I were to summarise Bluebells Care Home in one word, it would be "kindness". Thank you.

My mum moved into Bluebells Care Home yesterday after a traumatic fall and hospital stay. She was ready to move into care anyway as her dementia has progressed over the last few weeks. She is settling in really well thanks to the positive, friendly and caring staff who have welcomed her with open arms
and helped her find her feet.

My mother has recently moved to Bluebells Care Home. After an unexpected, complicated hospital visit, she has become more medically challenging than anticipated. Not an issue for the wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I, for one, am very grateful. 10/10.

My mother was a resident at Broomfield Lodge for nearly five years until her death. I am so very pleased I decided that she should stay there. I found the staff caring and attentive towards her and the members of our family who visited her. Any concerns we had were soon dealt with. We could not have
asked for better. 'Thank you' hardly seems a strong enough word to express our gratitude.

Dad was in st Martins for over 3 years. Unfortunately, he passed away very recently. Dad had been to other homes before for respite and never settled. Within days Dad settled here and respite became full-time. Over time they have adapted his care to meet his needs. The last few months for us as a family
have been hard. But we have never had to worry about Dad's care. The staff have always gone above and beyond for Dad. Not only have they done this for Dad but also for us. Keeping us updated and showing us so much love and compassion. And continue to do so. The home has a wonderful team of staff that keep the residents safe, extremely well cared for and stimulated depending on their needs. The food is of a great standard, with extras offered throughout the day and night for those that want it. The home is always well-kept and clean. The atmosphere is one of love and kindness to all.

Well what can one say about Broomfield Lodge nothing but excellent, the reason for me saying this are laid out below. As soon as you go through the front door you notice how clean and well maintained it is and this goes throughout the building. The cleaners should be commended on this also the washing
of the resident’s clothes, again they are spotless. The food is stunning all freshly cooked with fresh ingredients, it’s up to a good restaurant standard. Again the entertainment for the residents is also excellent there is always something going on. Now let’s talk about the carers, they are brilliant the way they care for the residents is done with the upmost care and dare I say with love. Nothing seems to much trouble and when I lost my mother the care they showed her in her last hours and me and the family well can’t find the words to thank them. The staff are well managed by an excellent management team.

I was badly in need of a break after caring for my wife for two years and needed to ensure that she would be in professional hands for the few weeks I was away. I had researched many but was impressed by the sheer understanding of both my state of health as a carer and hers with increasing dementia.
They seemed to encourage questions and only too pleased to arrange visiting. I need not have worried as from day one they kept me informed of her health and wellbeing which being overseas, gave me the peace of mind that she was in caring and professional hands. Moreover on my return I was given a full account of her on-going health needs which had been brought up to date by their nurse, and had been marvels at ensuring her dietary requirements were more than met, so they must have had the patience of Jobe. The manager and deputy manager and the entire team deserve a really big thank you for exhibiting such friendly patience and professionalism for what is a very challenging and demanding job.
