My Dad has been a resident for over 2 years and he has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the Glebe. I've visited most weekends and I've been very impressed with the trips and entertainment provided, the food has also looked and tasted good, the gardens and surroundings are beautiful. Above all the staff are amazing, genuinely friendly and go above and beyond to keep the residents happy and entertained. It's clear to see there is a great team spirit amongst the staff which lifts the whole atmosphere of the place. I would thoroughly recommend Glebe House.

Staff are amazing and have bent over backwards to support and care for Mum. She always looks immaculate. Her room is clean, cozy and so welcoming as is Beech House as a whole. So glad we, as a family, made this decision to move Mum is a safe loving, caring and very supportive home. Thank you everyone who works here.

We contacted The Glebe when we needed respite care for my husband. They were able to offer us a room, and arranged to meet us later that day to enable my husband to be admitted the following morning. The whole process was dealt with quickly, efficiently, and nothing was too much trouble. All the pressure was instantly taken away from us. He stayed for just over two weeks, and we were surprised and pleased with how he settled in. The staff were so kind, friendly, and always willing to talk. Its a beautiful place, with plenty of entertainment to keep the residents occupied, and he didn't stop saying how good the food was. I can't praise The Glebe enough the whole set up is run at the highest of standards - and we'll definitely be using them again, so a huge thank you.

My mum was a resident in your home on 'end of life care'. She had severe Alzeihmers disease and was 98 years old. The care given by all your staff was exemplary and they were so kind and caring towards me when I visited mum. Her room was always clean and tidy and she was kept immaculately. I couldn't have wanted better for her. A kind and caring environment - well done to all and many thanks.

Our mother has been a resident at Beech House for 10 years. During those years we have nothing but praise for all the love and care she was shown, especially during her last days when she sadly passed. We received so much support during an emotional time and the family will be forever grateful to Beech House.

We have found in the ten years my mum was a resident at Beech House, to be excellent! The care and support given from everyone who works here has been friendly and helpful. The carers have shown us so much kindness, both our mum and ourselves. I call them 'Angels'. I cannot state in enough words how highly I think of everyone!

Wow What an outstanding Care Home. From first contact through to final farewell we were made to feel welcome, comfortable and confident that my father would receive first class care. My father moved into the Home, direct from hospital, to receive palliative care but sadly passed away after 4 days. From the moment he arrived he was welcomed and made feel at home. All staff introduced themselves to him and to me as his daughter, carefully explaining how his care would be delivered and by whom. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. My father, who was a very fussy eater, couldn't speak highly enough of the food he was served. The chef even prepared meals, off menu, for my dad when the menu didn't suit him

Thank you to all the management and staff for the fantastic care you took of my dad. Your care and friendliness made his final few days as good as they could have been

It was a daunting decision, deciding to place Mum into the care of others, but we couldn't be happier with our experience. A truly warm place, with activities to be involved with if you wish, and trips out, socially it was much better than she had living alone. Many thanks to you all.

I arrived very ill, straight from hospital and was nursed to passing fair health by a dedicated team to whom I will be forever thankful. My illness, terminal bowel cancer. Beech House Care Home staff provide the very best of care for a selection of people with end of life requirements. Thank you.

I cannot speak too highly of the wonderful care my wife has received at Glebe House over the last five years. The manager and all staff are without exception, totally committed to providing outstanding care. There is always a very happy feel to the home and on my regular visits I am always made to feel welcome.

I do not hesitate to recommend this home.

Excellent care/nusing care is provided. The nursing care has been particularly helpful and beneficial for mum. Several nurses have gone above and beyond their duties to help mum. The care is very good, with a good range of entertainment and trips out. The van has been so useful to get Mum out on trips. So many staff are friendly and very dedicated to tasks. Only a few concerns from mum re waiting times for care sometimes & perhaps rushed to eat lunches, also dining room noisy.

We visit whenever we can and have always found the staff to be brilliant with the residents. We (wife and myself) visit my best man (1962) who has dementia and wants for nothing. In himself he is extremely well, just his perception has gone but the staff recognise this and cater fully for his needs. Cannot comment on a few of the options as have no experience of them but very happy to recommend

We feel very welcome when we come to Beech House and are always included in whats going on. The lovely staff create a happy atmosphere and take good regard of everyones needs. Mum has said herself how good and caring the people are here.

My extremely frail stepmother moved into Beech House in August 2024. On admission a full GP health assessment considered her life expectancy to be weeks rather than months. Then a new regime started which triggered her amazing recovery. Over the first weeks instead of weakening she gained strength (probably due to discovering very tasty food, which in itself was a reason for her not giving in!) I cannot praise enough the care that followed over the whole period of her tenure. Even when dementia demons made her difficult I was assured that she would still be welcome to stay through to the end of her life, which was a tremendous relief to us all. She died in December 2025 in her bed, peacefully with family alongside, over 16 months after the initial 3 week prognosis. Beech House is a wonderful place. The whole team, led by the Manager alongside the incredible nursing staff can all be trusted to give fantastic care to your loved one, even to the end of their life.

Dad went out locally for a curry which he enjoyed and is going to the garden at Whitminste. He is enjoying a busy social life! and his good. Everyone is very helpfull and engaged with him and his interest. This gives us all peice of mind that he is being cared for in the being way.

The care staff are a valuable asset to the successful management of the facility which is maintained to a very high standard. I doubt you could find a better place to entrust loved ones for care.

The nursing team, on Friday, were so amazing. They ensured Mum was not only medically supported, they showed care and love in the way they treated Mum. The whole team are amazing and the level of care shown to both my parents was the best you could ever wish.

I would recommend this care home to anyone.

Glebe House is a lovely place to live, my mother is very fortunate. The secluded, peaceful setting amongst trees and beautiful gardens is idyllic and my mother tells me daily how much she loves her room with stunning views across the vale to the Welsh hills. The former vicarage is beautifully decorated and kept spotlessly clean. I can't speak highly enough of the staff for their kindness and the nursing care is second to none. The entertainment is superb with regular outings, musical events and in-house activities including visits from Shetland ponies and birds of prey! I am delighted with the service provided, the managers are extremely efficient and caring.
