Are family member was placed in Beech house, for end of life care and treatment, allways found the home carring and considerate at all times, keeping the patient safe, allways encouraged them to join with activities, excellent selection and variation daily - food and drink selection was excellent and
changed daily - staff allways polite and respectful management allways spoken to us on first name terms Allways kept updated - room's cleaned daily
I would recommend this care home to anyone.

Glebe House is a lovely place to live, my mother is very fortunate. The secluded, peaceful setting amongst trees and beautiful gardens is idyllic and my mother tells me daily how much she loves her room with stunning views across the vale to the Welsh hills. The former vicarage is beautifully decorated
and kept spotlessly clean. I can't speak highly enough of the staff for their kindness and the nursing care is second to none. The entertainment is superb with regular outings, musical events and in-house activities including visits from Shetland ponies and birds of prey! I am delighted with the service provided, the managers are extremely efficient and caring.

I visit my wife each day, I was conserned how she would find being a patient in a care home after being sixty plus year in are own home. But due to her illness she requires constant attension, We were pleasantley surprised in the clenleness and tidyness, the care my wife received, all the staff were
so careing, helpfull, constantley checking and asking if there was anything needed or required, my wife has quickly settle in, with what time she has left.

Beech House is like a 5 start hotel, the carers are very kind, caring and always friendly. The food is excellent and the Chef will make you something different from the menu, if there's something on the weekly menu that you cannot eat, I went in for 2 weeks respite after a total knee replacement, and
came out fully rested and walking the home on my walker. I have nothing but praise for everyone in Beech House made me feel at home, and I was sorry to leave after my 2 weeks were up. Thank you Beech House.

All the team at Beech are fantastic I cannot rate them enough, my father in law had only been with them since 22nd May but what a change in him , we as a family found it hard to say we could not meet his needs at home anymore but after a few weeks in hospital we found a place at Beech House for him
he has had put on weight is participating in the daily activities so lovely for us to see he also loves the food nothing is too much trouble for the team .At the same time his wife was also in hospital and at end of life again without issue they got a bed for her too this means he can see her daily before she passes and also we can see them both together and as they have been married nearly 65 Years this means so much to us all and as a family makes our journey smoother.
We know soon we will loose her but we know she will be cared loved and looked with dignity till sadly she leaves us .
The support the team have given us as a family is very special cannot thank them enough

Dad stayed at Beech House for 6 weeks respite following a serious fall. We felt nursing care would be beneficial for his recovery. We have been blown away by the care, love, professionalism and compassion shown by all staff. Dad said he felt he was part of a big caring family and this was just what
he needed. He is now considering permanent care based on his experience and we couldn't be happier that the decision will be his.

My Mum went into Beech House with a diagnosis of frontal temporal dementia last July (2023). The manager & staff were all very kind and welcoming and Mum settled in straight away. She died in March 2025, having had a settled, calm but fun time. The staff encouraged her to join in all the activities
(every day there is something if the residents wish) & showed immense care as her health declined suddenly. The staff could not have been better or more supportive to both us and my Mum.

My aunt went to Beech House Care Home in October 2023. She spent over a year being brilliantly cared for by the patient, friendly and very caring staff up until her passing at the end of November. She loved the companionship of the staff and residents and thoroughly enjoyed not only the food but the
many activities the home provided. We, as a family, cannot speak highly enough of the care she received.

Mum has been living at Glebe House since March 2023. It has been a real refuge for her. She was anxious and recently bereaved when she arrived and was helped to settle by the lovely and patient staff. As the months have gone on she has become more and more settled. Glebe House is a grand building with beautiful grounds and views. Dad enjoys being taken around the grounds in his wheelchair. The home is clean and welcoming. The staff are polite and friendly. In the two years my dad has been in the home he has built up a good relationship with the staff. The regular
staff know him well and know all his care needs and preferences which is very reassuring for him. There is entertainment and group activities organised and there are trips out in a minibus. Also, there is a disability vehicle available for taking Dad out. Overall I feel Glebe House is a good nursing home.
