Very good. Staff and carers are fantastic always helpful.

I feel that a staff ratio of 3 carers on his floor is essential at all times.

The staff work tirelessly to make sure she has everything she needs and they're all so friendly and have an extremely loving way about them. Keep up the great work.

They keep me well informed of the care and needs of my Mum and the Room is clean and well kept.

The building may be old and parts could benefit from some improvement but the atmosphere is vibrant and care is excellent - such a warm, friendly and personal approach. Management and administration are excellent as is liaison and communication with relatives. A lovely Care Home that is truly caring.

My husband was admitted today and felt so happy.. which makes me and our three sons happy.. he's had a rough time.. and takes a lot to please him, but his welcome and care so far couldn't fault.. thank you all.. Jackie Hilliam.

The staff are all very good and friendly. My mother has always been well looked after during the 3 years she has been at the nursing home. It is like a family atmosphere in the home and I am always updated as to how my mother's health is and how she is getting on. Lots of activities and stimulation for the residents.

I certainly would recommend Polebrook as a care provider.

It is also a pleasure for us to visit. There are always activities happening and music playing which creates a happy and positive atmosphere. It is a truly lovely home that feels warm and so welcoming.

My mum has been a resident for 6 months now and we have been really impressed with the care she receives. The staff are always attentive, polite and go about their jobs with utmost sensitivity and empathy. We also enjoy getting the updates & pictures of the various activities going on at the home. We could not have wished for a better home for mum.

Nice rural care home with very friendly and caring staff. Lots of events and entertainment are organised for it's residents on a regular basis. Possibility to sit outside when/if the weather is good enough.

Polebrook is also very responsive to my queries at all times by phone or email & very organised & efficient when supporting my Auntie with clinical provisions or hospital appointments. Both myself & Auntie are so happy we made the decision for her to reside at Polebrook - it has improved her quality of life beyond words!

I am most happy with the care she receives. The staff are very attentive and like working there. This fact is reflected in that some have been employed there for some years and there is very little turn over of staff.They are genuinely friendly, and committed to what they do. My wife has put on weight and is obviously very content there. The only slight criticism I have is the infrastructure of the building whilst still functional needs modernizing. I am more than happy to recommend the home.

I thought moving dad into a nursing home was going to be difficult for both us and him, but far from it - it is a pleasure to see him flourish and feel safe.

Polebrook Nursing Home has been amazing in caring for my Mum, who lives with dementia. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate, and they always treat her with dignity and respect. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing she is safe, comfortable, and so well cared for. We are truly grateful to the wonderful team and would highly recommend Polebrook Nursing Home.

Our only issue was the struggle we had to get a parking spot in the car park!

Polebrook nursing home has been a shining light. My grandmother has been elsewhere where they were unable to care for her complex needs but at Polebrook it's not an issue at all. The communication from their management to my mum is regular and prompt. And I cannot say a bad thing about them. The best part, is the carers, they all genuinely care and my grandmother is in their dementia care wing and they are all so kind even when she isn't to them. They treat her with dignity, respect, compassion and kindness. They talk to her and listen to what she says. They listen to us and appear to value our input. They enable her to live her life in a way that is comfortable and achievable. I have no faults but I do have a lot of gratitude. Thankyou Polebrook for being so caring and for always being exceptional!

My step father was in Polebrook from June 2024 to October 2025. He had full nursing care in the later stages of his time at Polebrook and I was more than happy with the care he received. I liked that we could visit whatever time of day or evening. There were always plenty of staff around. The staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, even offering us a drink when we visited, finding chairs for us to sit on. Plenty of entertainment put on for residents and family. Communication was very good too. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this care home to anyone facing the prospect of putting an elderly family member into care. Minor detail, ther is plenty of parking too.
