My Mum has a wonderful time at Devon Lodge. A "home from home" enviroment which is both caring and stimulating.

They make a real effort to make it like a real home and the entertainment they organise is well thought through, fun- the roller skater in pink Lycra!!

Wonderful home, caring, kind and very professional. My mum is looked after with dignity and understanding. There is a lovely family feeling, and the staff are so friendly and caring. I really appreciate everything the home does for my mum.

The staff at Devon Lodge are simply amazing. The level of personal effort that every member of staff makes to ensure residents are happy and well cared for is just outstanding. A special mention must go to the activities - varied, engaging and fun!

During our visit on 6th October to visit my sister Nicola, my partner and I were very pleased with the location of the home, the condition of the premises and surrounding gardens, the views over Lyme Regis and the sea are breathtaking. The rooms and facilities within appear to be in very good condition, and the activities provided to residents are interesting and entertaining. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional in their duties. We feel fortunate that my sister is cared for in such lovely surroundings, and by such delightful people.

My mum has been in Fairfield Residential Care Home for a year now. The care she has received has been outstanding, I cannot fault anything. The staff are amazing, so friendly and do the very best they can. When mum needed to be in the home it was quite a traumatic time at home for the family, but the management and staff at Fairfield really supported us and the help and care mum received was such a massive relief with everything else going on. Everything is so well organised and the meals mum receives are excellent. I live quite a long way from Lyme Regis but I know mum who has Alzheimer's is being very well looked after and I do not need to worry about her. Whenever I call and visit I feel so welcomed and looked after too. The house and grounds are beautiful and my mum has such a beautiful bedroom with a beautiful view of Lyme Bay. I feel so grateful she is in such a lovely caring home, I cannot thank them enough.

My mum moved into Fairfield House in January 2025 as her dementia had got to severe for me to support her at home. I can't fault their support, kindness and care of my mother since she has been living there. All the carers are calm, patient and kind, they always have a smile and good sense of humour. The home is very clean and bright, with a lovely well kept garden and spacious modern rooms. They have activities and days out supporting the many varied and different needs of the residents

Food - puddings especially the puddings are repetitive.

When I was looking for a home for my mother I had been recommended to Devon Lodge - the moment I rang I was warmed by the friendliness of the manager and when they came to see mum - that was my and mum's decision made - and from that moment we didn't look back - all the staff are WONDERFUL - caring, loving, thoughtful and professional - we could not of wished any more for my mother - HOME FROM HOME in every way - 1st class. A happy 3 years was spent here.

Lovely care home. All the staff are kind and polite. Mum has only been here just over a month and she is happy and content here which takes a load off our worries.

Mum has been here for 4 happy years and is very well looked after. She enjoys joining in the plentiful activities and spending time with her fellow residents. Many of the staff have been here for several years, providing continuity of care. The staff are all caring and excellent, and there's always a real family atmosphere unlike other homes we have visited. Thank you Devon Lodge!!

I searched hard to find a suitable care home for my aunt and was and am very happy with everything.

Overall very satisfied but there is just one area that requires attention which has been raised and discussed. In the main, the staff are very good at keeping my mother safe and happy. The grounds are very well cared for. The increases in the fees is also always a concern.

I can fully relax knowing that Dad is being cared for 24/7 and is happy in his new environment. He likes to be in the public areas and garden during the day and interacts with far more people than he would living alone. The staff are very kind and inclusive. My family are always made very welcome when we visit.

Communication with Devon Lodge has always been good, and they are good at making visiting family feel welcomed and looked after too. I have never had any regrets about making the choice on Mum's behalf of Devon Lodge, and they have never let us down.
