My dad has been a resident in Williamston since the beginning of 2025. He is under nursing care due to diabetes. He has been diagnosed with alzeimers and vascular dementia making his care quite different on a daily basis. Each carer works with his early morning mood to set him up for a good day, for
my dad this usually involves a singsong in the shower which lifts his spirits and I love that. Always a warm and friendly welcome when visiting. Fresh cooked meals which my dad loves as always looks forward to meal times.
Currently decorated for Christmas giving an even more upbeat mood. I cannot praise all the staff for their commitment to their residents.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at Williamston Nursing HomeDear Elaine, Thank you so much for your feed back and kind words. We continue to strive to provide the best care we can for our residents and our staff go above and beyond in every way they can. It is nice to know that we are making a real difference.

My mother was placed in Williamston Nursing Home due to frailty, having lived on her own for many years. She settled in very quickly due to the attentiveness of wonderful caring staff, nothing was too much trouble and she was still able to make decisions for herself. She was welcomed as if she were
a family member and treated as such. I can't recommend Williamston enough. My mother even gained weight whilst there as she said the food was always lovely! Excellent home, excellent staff.

I can honestly say the staff at Williamston have been amazing. Nothing seemed too much trouble & they went out of their way to assist us on the passing of our dear friend.
The staff work very very hard & even when stretched to the limit we were treated with respect & a welcoming smile. We have been
kept up-to date at every opportunity & have considered the staff friends for many years. I cannot thank them enough for their help & generosity even in our toughest time of saying goodbye. Thank-you

My gran has been in the home for some few months now .
And it was the first time I had. Been in to see her . And what an amazing experience and team they have working there
All the staff as so friendly and very professional it was very satisfying seeing my gran being looked after the way she is
And left me with the knowledge that she was getting the best care possible especially as we unfortunately live in Scotland
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at BryngwyThank you for taking the time to reply and your kind words. We are a very long way from Scotland but please feel free to call the home and ask about your Gran. The Team will always make time to give you an update.

An excellent care home set in Rhayader, Powys. All the staff are friendly and caring. There is always a warm welcome as soon as you go through the door. For any needs that a resident requires the home gives 100 per cent to carry out their wishes. For example, they kindly hand made a special birthday
cake for my very good friend. I would recommend this home to any new resident and families wishing to have their loved ones looked after properly.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at BryngwyThank you so much for your review. The staff really do try their best and I have sampled some of the homemade cakes, they are delicious.

A family friend recently moved to Williamston Nursing Home and since being there she has done so well, staff are really friendly and provide great entertainment, the staff dress up as unicorns, Santa and a snowman to ensure everyone had a fab Christmas. Also, they are gradually redecorating the home
and the new colour scheme is fabulous and helps create a fresh look.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at Williamston Nursing HomeThank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us, this really means a a lot. My staff and I try our very best to make the home as comfortable as possible for the residents and take the time and care necessary. I'm also glad you have noticed the ongoing redecoration programme, which will take some time but a fresh look and new subtle colours were necessary.

Mum became a resident of Williamston in February 2024. This was a hard transition for her, from living in her own home to living with others. As a retired nurse she can be very precise in what she wants to happen, when and how. The staff have always tried their best to accommodate her wishes, in a kind,
caring and friendly manor. Early in Mum's stay the home changed hands. The manager and senior nurse working together have made improvements in the standards of care being provided to my mum. The home itself has lovely grounds to use nice weather. The interior is quite tired but recently re-decoration and refurbishment has commenced. Mum has to have a soft diet which the staff try to make as interesting as possible for her, they try their best to tempt her with different things i.e. welsh cake. The activities lady has been off for some time and Mum says she misses that interaction. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and commitment to Mum's care and feelings.

Having arrived in the previous month (July 2024) and settled in, I have found Williamston to be friendly, calm, and enjoyable. I was made to feel most welcome. As someone new to living in an environment like this, I was rather anxious about asking for things. As an example, being diabetic, I have to
be careful about what I can eat, so at my first breakfast, I requested to have Marmite spread on my toast. Profuse apologies followed, the kitchen had none in, but the next morning there was a jar of the spread on the table. It's been on offer every day since. Nothing seems too much trouble. That little gesture made me instantly feel part of the 'family'.
Many of the residents suffer from dementia, I don't, my mind is clear, but I do have trouble with my walking and balance and I am prone to fall. Nevertheless, the staff are all really friendly and are always able to help when I need it. To be totally honest, I can find nothing to fault.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at Williamston Nursing HomeThank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Your input is invaluable and I continue to try my very best, to make this a home for all our residents. My team and I try very hard to make sure every need is catered for.

I feel so lucky to have both of my parents in this nursing home. As a family, we were dreading the moment Mum and Dad could no longer manage at home, but they are actually more settled and happier at Williamston than they were in their own home! The culture of care at Williamston is excellent. Nothing
is too much trouble and my parents are cared for with dignity, respect and lots of lovely humour. Everyone goes the extra mile to make them happy and comfortable whilst ensuring all their complex care needs are addressed. We all feel very lucky and relieved. I can highly recommend it.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at Williamston Nursing HomeKay, thank you so much for the review. I could not have summed up better our goals here at Williamston. My staff always put dignity, respect, humour and care at the centre of everything they do. I am making improvements to the home, building, gardens, equipment and staff training. These things take time and I make it my personal mission to make home even better.

I am so grateful for the outstanding care my elderly Grandma receives here. From the moment she moved in, it was clear that she was in good hands. They go above and beyond to ensure her comfort, safety, and happiness, treating her with the same kindness and respect they would show their own family
members. I will always be thankful to the staff for letting our family create life long memories with my grandma by helping us organise a 'wedding reception' in the care home so she could be a part of my sisters wedding.
The place is always immaculate and welcoming, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes visiting a pleasure. The staff are always so attentive, and genuinely caring, always taking the time to engage with my Grandma and address her needs promptly and with compassion. I cannot thank the team enough for their exceptional care and commitment to my Grandmas well-being. Knowing she is in such capable and loving hands brings our family immense peace of mind.
Reply from Kole Grewal, Director at Williamston Nursing HomeThank you so much for your wonderful review. My team and I try very hard to make the home welcoming, friendly and homely. Taking the time to host the wedding reception was our pleasure, we want to create long-lasting memories for families and their loved ones. We continue to work hard on decoration, training of staff and bringing the home back to its former glory.
