My mother was welcomed into Arundel Park Lodge in January 2025 and is still residing. It is always a little daunting when choosing a nursing home as to if you have made the right choice as mum has complex needs and had been mainly in hospitals for the 6 months leading up to this. But, I knew I had made
the right choice when the Manager visited mum in hospital to assess her and she thought it was me! The manager here is amazing, she is the most proficent, compassionate, kindest person I have come accross and nothing is ever too much trouble. Any issues raised are quickly dealt with efficently and promptly. She holds regular meetings with her staff and outside agencies regarding my mothers well being and is always thinking ahead. The staff here are so caring and make everyone feel special (even me). The food is freshly cooked every day, lots of choice and the cakes are to die for! Housekeeping keep everything immaculate and the activity ladies are the best. Thank you guys!

My experience is a good one, I have been well cared for, I am given such good care, on my bad days and better days. The staff always include me in conversations and book fun activities too. The staff are all very nice and keep their own lives private. I love being here and feel very included.

Our mother is very happy here.
Activities are done daily and every resident is encouraged to join in. Staff and carers and activity people do a great job.

My mum is very happy at Arundel Park Lodge which means we are happy. I can't praise the staff enough for their patience and care. Mum is able to stay as independent as possible. She doesn't have the worry about medicines and what to eat/cook as this is so well catered for. If ever there has been an
issue the staff have dealt with the situation promptly and professionally and are so very kind. Also, everyone is conscious of maintaining her dignity along with independence.

I can't speak highly enough - Glentworth House Nursing Home has been fantastic for my mother, both management and care home staff are always available and very professional. My mother and the other residents receive excellent care and are treated consistently with dignity and respect. We visit weekly
at different times of day with no forewarning and have always found Mum to be clean, well fed and kept active and involved with carers and other residents, sometimes she has newly painted nails or a new haircut and dress.

My uncle has been a resident since the end of 2024, every time I have visited my uncle the staff has been very polite. Due to my uncle's nursing needs he spends most of his time in his room however this is his personal choice. My uncle was complimentary about the food and always good activities on.
My uncle is very happy there.

I have been visiting my brother for over 2 years and the care home and staff are amazing. My brother cannot see and cannot move from the neck down. He is always happy and this is 100% down to all the staff and management. The food is also amazing. Thank you to all who help my brother, you keep him going.

My brother-in-law is staying here and has been for 2 years now. The home is a lovely building, in a great location with amazing views and gardens. My brother-in-law is very well looked after here and is very happy. The staff are all very friendly and go that extra mile to make. Well done to all.

My daughter has been a resident at Glentworth House for approximately 2 years during which time she has been treated with much kindness, friendliness and respect by all members of staff. I might also add that all staff are very friendly with me too. When I ring to enquire about my daughter's health,
this is very important to me and our family as I live over a hundred miles away and can't see her as often as I, or we would like, usually coming by coach/taxi. We are always pleased to see how well she is catered for, to make her as happy and comfortable as possible in her current situation for which we are very grateful.

My wife has Huntingtons' disease which requires constant care, care homes for this condition are few and far between. The family are extremely thankful for finding Arundel Park Lodge. Overall, care, accommodation, food and activities etc are of the highest standard whilst providing a wonderful family
environment fostered by management and staff alike.

On entering the home, there is always a very good welcome by the staff, always helpful when there is something asked by visitors, tea and coffee is always offered to visitors. Mum seems very happy in the home with such a wonderful atmosphere. She came out of hospital in the New Year and since has been
eating better, she is healing well and communicating better which was not the case before she went into hospital. On receiving care and assistance by staff at Glentworth House, she is now able due to the healing process, to access the wheelchair and be taken by staff to the lounge and garden. Visitors (Family) came to the home recently to celebrate her 84th birthday party, staff made a lovely cheesecake. Mum is happy.

As soon as my wife was accepted at the home she was welcomed and made very much a part of resident's family, has been given first-class care and personal attention.
All the carers, nurses and those who keep the home working efficiently do a wonderful job.

Overall - excellent. The atmosphere is warm and caring with attention given to each resident's needs. There is a very inclusive attitude and each person is encouraged to participate in whichever way they can, in whatever is happening or ongoing. A lot of planning in order to maintain their physical
and mental wellbeing. The creative kitchen staff lure everyone to meals sending out mouthwatering aromas. Spotless rooms and hallways with spotless residents make mingling a pleasure. The management and staff working in their different roles throughout the house are all such important components of this "welcoming home." Thank you.
