I have been consistently impressed with the level of care provided at this home. The staff are attentive, patient, and genuinely compassionate, treating residents with dignity and respect. Communication with families is clear and proactive, and I always felt reassured that my loved one i was always safe and well looked after. The environment is clean, welcoming, and feels more like a community than a facility. I'm grateful for the kindness shown

The care home provides a friendly and supportive environment, and the staff work hard to meet residents' needs. Dad had settled in very well and his needs were always met, and also enjoyed the activities the care home had to offer. Overall Welcome Care Home is a caring home with room for minor improvements, but I sincerely appreciated the love care warm and help they offered to my dad

My mum was a resident at The Welcome Care Home for 2.5 years. She was very happy there I can only thank them for the love, care and support they gave her and me. I was always made very welcome and encouraged to join in with mum with what ever activity was going on. All her friends and family that visited her were very impressed with the staff and the care that she received. I have no hesitation in recommending The Welcome Care Home.

The staff at Welcome Care Home understood my friend and did their utmost to respond to her needs. The staff, and other residents, became her family and provided her with the company and support she needed. My friend enjoyed the activities provided such as the entertainer and going to the day centre. I know my friend will be missed.

A very good stay here for respite. Was well looked after. They did their best to make my husbands two weeks comfortable and happy. They asked about foods he liked and things he liked to do and catered as best they could to these things.

Communication was excellent I had phone calls most days to keep me updated and reassured about how things were. I visited most days at whatever time suited me and was always met with a warm welcome. They did some nice activities and outings with my husband while he was there. During and after his stay there they gave me some ideas and advice on things that could help my husband.

My mum visited for two weeks respite, she has severe vascular dementia and needs 24 hour supervision.
I was very impressed with the communication between the manager and both myself and my mums live in carer.
Any concerns, and they called.
Even though it was such a short stay, they were interested in the things she likes to do so they could try and make her stay as pleasant as possible.
Concerned about her cough they arranged a chest x-ray.
My mum enjoyed her time there.

I would happily recommend this small friendly home.

I cannot fault this home. The level of care and support for my mum was amazing. They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy. Although there were times when she could be a little bit difficult the staff remained very kind, caring and professional. Meals are very good and varied. Some of the staff even went to see her when she was in hospital recently. I am just sorry that she now has to go into a nursing home, and I hope it will be comparable to The Welcome Care Home.

Mum was treated well in a family-like environment. All the residents share two living rooms, one with soft, relaxing music and the other with TV. They get their medication properly and on time, and their food is well-cooked (I was treated a few times, and I can say it was delicious). Everything is clean and decent. The Welcome Care Home is a good choice when, for whatever reason, there is no family house for older people.

We wish that we found Welcome Care Home sooner. Dad was so happy there and all the staff were caring, understanding, supportive and professional at all times. Dad was not always the easiest of characters to deal with but the patience and understanding delivered by the staff helped get us all through some difficult times.

The Welcome Care Home is a friendly, efficient care home that looks after its residents to a high standard. The staff are lovely and take time to get to know their residents' likes and dislikes. They entertain them or take them out for a day trip, or go to a local venue where other care home residents also go and they are all entertained by a lively, hard-working team of people, getting them to sing, dance, play bingo and interact with each other.

I would thoroughly recommend the Welcome Care Home to others.

My mother has been a resident in the Welcome Care Home for just short of a year and I would have no qualms in recommending this establishment.
The staff are attentive, friendly and caring and work in an efficient and well-managed setting.
Very pleased that they were able to accept my mother at this stage of her life.

Thank you.

My dad has been resident in Welcome home for the past three years and I cannot rate the home and the staff highly enough. Without exception the staff are kind, caring and really know individual residents well. They work tirelessly and yet remain cheerful. The home was in need of some TLC and this could be off putting when looking for residential care, however, there has been a huge improvement over the past year. Meals are varied and individual likes and dislikes are catered for. I often visit unexpectedly and yet my dad is always smart clean and content - I can ask for no more
