Cedar Court is a small with a big heart. Staff work hard to support residents make the Home feel like'home' for those who live there and relatives who visit. Residents are treated with respect, and relatives welcomed at any time. Staff recognise and understand individual needs and are always receptive to suggestions or comments from so they can make residents as comfortable as possible. Residents and relatives are encouraged to give regular feedback through open forums, family meetings and electronic surveys that are available in the reception. A variety of activities are provided for residents including craft sessions, visits to the local pop in cafe, games, daily newspapers, one to one sessions, visits by local schools, vicars and drama groups. A sensory garden provides residents with a pleasant outdoor area to relax and the addition of a large canopy means the outdoor space is available year round. Families, residents and staff join together to make Cedar Court a special place.
