The food was varied and of good quality. Above all, I would not hesitate in recommending this care home. The manager kept us up to date with all aspects of my mum's care and any relevant information.

My aunt moved to the home from Northern England and with a diagnosis of Alzheimers. The staff were amazing, dedicated and compassionate. The residence has such a lovely homely feel. It is immaculately clean and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the home. At the end of my aunts life the staff were incredible. They allowed me to stay all night. They got me a table so that I could work and stay with my aunt. I was blessed to be by my aunts side when she passed away and the dignity and respect shown by the manager and her team was amazing. There are not enough words to express how incredible this home is.

When my brother got dementia we reviewed several homes but Arran Manor was the nicest in our opinion, homely & welcoming, staff were great and management very helpful they looked after my brother really well and treated him with dignity and kindness. My brother-in-law was a resident for 18 months in that time he was always treated very well by the staff. We visited regularly and were allowed to go at any time which gave us peace of mind. The staff were always friendly and helpful towards our family and the case of my brother-in-law was excellent. I can give nothing but praise for the management and staff who allowed him to live with dignity. Sincere thanks to them all.

My brother had been at Arran Manor for 19 months before he passed away in December. I felt that we, as a family, were lucky to have found him such a caring home. He had severe dementia and was getting worse over the last few months of his life. The staff, and I must mention tow of them who were extremely kind to him when it got difficult for him to understand had so much patience and understanding for him. The Home made us feel comfortable for our visits to see him and always offered us Tea or coffee which was so nice of them. Members of the caring team even came to his funeral which was a lovely thing to do and was appreciated so much by our family On the day of his funeral, the team all stood outside the Home to say their goodbyes to him which was very moving. I think about the old folks in Arran quite often and wonder how they are doing. I think it might be time for me to pop back to the home for that cup of tea.

My aunt had been at Arran Manor for over 3 years. After an initial settling-in period she has become very comfortable there and enjoys interacting with the staff. She always remarks on how lovely 'the girls' are. She feels safe and cared for.
