I have visited my mother on five occasions this month for the first time. She has been a resident for some seven years and although my knowledge is limited I can only but describe all aspects of my mother's care as excellent in the light of her obvious responses to questions put.

My mother only moved in a few weeks ago after being alone at home with carers visiting 4 times a day only. She already seems much happier and is being looked after and cared for 24/7 with a new group of chatty friends.
I can see that this care home is miles apart from the others we briefly experienced.

This is the second time my Husband has stayed at Meadowside. He does attend the day care home. Again I am very happy with the way in which he has been looked after. The staff are excellent and very caring and I would be very delighted for him to stay again in the near future.

My mother feels safe and among friends. She enjoyed attending the weekly art group (she was an artist) and recently has loved going swimming an activity she used to daily when she lived independently. She out dances other residents when she has the opportunity. The staff are very caring and stayed with
her at A & E until we could get there which is one and a half hour drive for us. I am greatly relieved knowing she is happy, safe and well cared for.

As our brother's family, we are extremely pleased with Meadowside care home. It is attractive, welcoming, cheerful and clean. The staff are friendly, capable, caring and seem to take a personal interest in the residents.
My brother is very complimentary toward the facility and staff. He says "it's
a very nice hotel ad the staff are wonderful". We, his family, are very relieved and comforted knowing that he is in such good, capable hands.

My brother's family is extremely pleased with the entire facility at Meadowside. It is located in a very pleasant neighbourhood. The care home is very well maintained but the staff. It is most pleasant for the residents and visitors as well. The staff are outstanding and most caring from the management
to the aides.
We could not feel more comfortable about my brother's care, well-being and his new home.

My mum is in Meadowside. The atmosphere is lovely, calm, caring and homely. You feel it as soon as you walk in the door. The care mum is getting is excellent she always looks lovely clean and well cared for. The housekeeping team and carers are excellent and you can always talk to them. I feel the communication
is very good. I would have no problems to recommend your home and I feel happy that mum is safe and being well cared for.

My father joined Meadowside Care Home in sudden unexpected circumstances. It could not have been easy for the staff, but they all pulled together and coped brilliantly. They were extremely kind to both my father and me, even giving me a lift to collect his equipment and spare clothes.
Since then they
have worked hard to ensure he settles in well feels comfortable and has what he needs in the way he likes. The team leader on his floor deserves a particular mention.
She is outstanding and shows great kindness and understanding.
The atmosphere in my father's flat is very calm, quiet and homely, although there are plenty of activities to join if my father wishes. Our family considers the home is extremely well-managed.

As a family, we are all delighted that our relative is now living safely at Meadowside. The staff are lovely including their activity coordinator and the manager is kind and efficient. The ensuite room is perfect except for the lighting. The addition of a dimmer switch would be very helpful.

My aunt has Dementia and has found it difficult to settle but with the kind and helpful staff we can see that she is beginning to enjoy her days here. She has regained her love of food which was a worry when she was at home. She is slowly making friends which was hard for her as she has lived alone
for many years and has always been very independent. She is getting used to the daily routine and is happy to see us when we visit, such a change since she joined Meadowside.
