My husband has settled in well and is happy. All the staff are super and he is very well looked after. They always seem to be different activities happening which suits my husband as he needs to be kept occupied

I find the staff very friendly, very helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The place always looks clean and tidy. They seem to always have events going on my mother-in-law always seems very happy. They always send us photos of the events and the day trips out. Very lovely care home.

Our mum moved into Beech House in October 2022 and has been very happy there. The staff are warm and caring, as is the atmosphere, and Mum was very well looked after; nothing was ever too much trouble. Sadly, due to unforeseen medical issues, Mum has had to move into a nursing home and has settled in well. However, we will think of Beech House often and with fond memories. Thank you to all the team.

My Mum came to Beech House over 18 months ago now and has been very well cared for in all aspects by all staff. They work very hard to look after Mum as an individual and have got to know her and how to deal with difficult days! Mum has had a few falls recently due to her condition. Beech House have been able to continue to look after her and monitor her at the care home once a clinician has assessed her needs to not go to hospital which is brilliant and less traumatic for her.
Now Covid rules have lifted we can visit anytime. Mum likes the meals. The manager and his team are always available if we need to speak to them. We have been contacted by them straight away if they need to inform us about my Mum having had a fall or anything.
It is a lovely environment and they do have regular entertainment and activities which Mum will join in occasionally.

Thank you everyone at Beech House for all you do.

My husband has been at Beech House for nine months. This has been a challenging and emotional time for us all but we have been given great support from the manager and staff at Beech House. My husband has been cared for with respect and dignity. He responds to the friendly attitude of the amazing carers. I visit the Home most days and always feel welcome and included .

My lovely mum sadly passed away in October 2022, but her time at Beech House from August 2020 was made happy and comfortable by the amazing staff. We never had any cause for concern, and both Mum and our family were treated with respect and compassion right to the end.

Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beech House is a lovely, small, homely care home, where the staff really do care about the residents, despite the challenges of their Dementia. The level of care my mum has experienced so far is very good and nothing is too much trouble. I like the fact that I can ring the home at any time for an update. Whenever I contact Beech House with a query, or to book a visit, the response is prompt, professional, and very friendly. Mum has everything she needs, including a well-equipped bedroom and a choice of lounges where she can interact with other residents, as she wishes. On a particular note are the in-house cooking, reliable laundry service and the many activities and outings that are regularly arranged by the enthusiastic team. Hairdresser and chiropodist visits are arranged regularly and mum has access to optician and dentist consultations. Beech House has been diligent in ensuring Covid safety for residents and visitors. Overall, we are so pleased we chose Beech House for mum.

My aunt who has Dementia has been a resident in Beech House for just over a year. I am extremely impressed with the quality of care the team provides, the staff are always on hand to discuss her care plan, are friendly and above all kind to the residents.
From a well-being perspective, my aunt's hair is washed and cut regularly, her nails are trimmed, her clothes are clean, the food is good, and all the residents are encouraged to join in activities organised for them. Her bedroom is adequate for her needs, the dining room spacious and bright and the decking area is great for when the weather permits residents to sit outside.

She is very happy there and it is clear to all her extended family that her overall health and well-being have improved since she moved to Beech House.

I can highly recommend Beech House and the care my father received from everyone there. Many of the staff are still the same as when he first arrived, I am sure that consistency was a great comfort to him. I was always kept well informed of his well-being during the Covid crisis, the fact that my father never contracted the virus shows the lengths they went to protect their vulnerable residents. Whenever I visited him, the staff always took the time to tell me how much they liked my father and he in turn seemed very happy in their company. The kindness shown to me and my family on his passing was very touching. I have only good memories and thoughts of his time at Beech House. A big thank you to you all.

Dad was admitted to Beech House in January 2021, which with Covid, was not ideal but the entire team at Beech House couldn't have been more helpful. The team are absolutely fabulous and we are delighted that Dad has benefitted from the same consistent team since then - care, activities, admin & manager - which we think is very important. The home is rightly being cautious about opening up fully to a pre-Covid position which would enable us to see more of the day-to-day operation. But we have no doubt, that when this happens, we will be equally delighted with what we discover.

My father went to live in Beech House in August 2020 and we have been delighted with the care he has received. All the staff have been really helpful and understanding and he settled in quickly. The manager and staff are always available to chat on the phone and the precautions to protect against Covid are very well managed. Activities are organised on a regular basis to stimulate and give pleasure to the residents and it is possible to follow this on the Facebook page. The outside area is very welcoming for the residents to sit in during the warmer months. A huge thank you to Beech House, which is to be highly recommended.

I am really happy with the care mum receives at Beech House, especially in the difficult times with COVID 19; the care cannot be faulted. The staff are kind and caring and this has helped mum settle in. The genuine rapport between Mum and the staff makes me feel confident that she is safe and well cared for physically, but more importantly emotionally. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech House.

The Beech House care team have been very helpful, kind and understanding about the specific needs of a wonderful gentleman who I helped to move in.

The friendly and homely house welcomed him from day one into their activities and started to find out his likes, needs and favourite foods too - there are wonderful aromas of home cooking every day.

The home manager is approachable about all matters so I recommend a visit if you are considering this home for someone you care about.

The home is secure and good value for money and well managed. Care staff work very hard and are caring and kind. They are always welcoming to visitors. Some areas of the home need updating and décor refreshed/updated. Some windows need replacing. Activities are good but need improving to accommodate residents with advanced dementia. The home helps and encourages residents to maintain outside interests, although sadly this has stopped due to relatives level of dementia.

Mum is cared for and well presented. Mum is sometimes difficult and yet staff deal with her with humour and kindness. She is happy there but cannot actually tell us what she does - due to the dementia! Her room is well cared for and she is dressed in her own clean clothes. She can be difficult and staff appreciate this and share the information with us, they let us know when there have been issues, and what these issue are. Food is good and as a visitor I have been offered lunch when I arrived at an inopportune moment. Mum is keen to come out for a while and have a ride around but actually wants to go back there if we bring her to our house. Dementia is dreadful and the team at Beech House do their very best to make it as painless as possible.

My mother has been treated very well and all her needs seem to be met. It is good to see her sitting in the lounge more often rather than in her room. Care needs to be taken when washing clothes as some tops/cardigans seem to be washed on too high a setting.

I am responsible for the day-day running of the home from liaising with CQC to the social care needs of all of our residents to many more tasks.

Previously having been a teaching assistant within a primary school for 14 years, and having worked within the accounting sector, I decided to combine my skills and background in joining the care industry. Now, as the Administrator at Beech House, I am responsible for liaising with the residents’ families, ordering everything that is needed within the home and creating weekly reports. Other duties also include preparing and sending information to the Head Office, such as admission and discharge forms, and compiling Month End paperwork. I thoroughly enjoy the wide range of duties I am tasked with, and how different every day at the home is.
