The care they have had has been brilliant. Sadly on 31st Dec my Dad passed away. In the week or two leading up to his death the staff were super stars. They showed real compassion, love and care for Dad and he was treated with the dignity he deserved. They even supported my Mum by letting her sit with him at times during his final few hours. He had a very peaceful death and as a family we will be forever grateful for that. They continue to care for Mum with calm and gentleness as she navigates life without him. The words Thank you dont seem enough.

I think Beech House is a superb setting for my mother, she has improved greatly since moving there and is slowly coming out of her shell and back to the mother we once used to know. The staff and carers are.all superb and go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and looked after.

Beech House is like a Home from Home. My dad has been a part of the Beech House family for 3 years now and we cannot say a bad word about them. The staff and management team have become part of my Dad's family now (and ours to be fair). They take such good care of him - tending to all his needs. The food menu always looks delicious with a great variety - the kitchen and chef staff are super. Since being a part of Beech House, the staff have remained stable and there is very little turnover, demonstrating the friendly, productive and conducive environment that you will find here. I visit often and am always happy to see Dad freshly taken care off and busy with one thing or another. The variety of activities and things that they partake in is amazing - never a dull moment and the family days that they plan are so good! I love my visits at Beech House. Well done to all the staff. We always are made to feel welcome and have a cup of tea. I wouldn't want my Dad anywhere else !

Mums been at Beech House now for 9 months. She is very happy there, she is well looked after, and the atmosphere is homely and very friendly. Plenty of staff to care for the residents and regular activities take place. We see the same staff members and this indicates they like working at Beech House, and this gives me peace of mind. I would certainly recommend.

All the team at Beech House have provided the highest quality care for our Mum. The home manager and administrator have always been most helpful and understanding. The nurses and care team have have been so kind in looking after Mum and made her feel so at ease and content. The lovely meals, the cleanliness of the home, the activities and entertainment, the warm welcome to visitors etc, all make Beech House a "home from home" for its residents.

Beech House has been brilliant with my mum, who is in the later stages of Alzheimer's. Accepting Mum will only get worse is hard but we know she is safe and happy in her world in this home. And that's what it is about, right now. I do wish she had gone there earlier in her journey and she would have enjoyed the social activities more. They are caring and compassionate, informative and friendly. A real 'family' care home.

This is not a very large care home but the atmosphere is cosy with cheerful staff with a positive mindset. Some care assistants could benefit from better training, regarding manual handling and communication, but this doesn't seem to be a major issue overall.

The standard of the home is amazing! My mum's room is lovely, it's recently been decorated along with the rest of the home and everywhere is always clean.
The food is very good and plenty of it.

Absolutely the best care home. Mum has been there for four years. The staff are fantastic. The home itself is spotless, inside and out. They always send updates and have been absolutely brilliant with my dad who visits regularly to the extent when he was ill and unable to visit, they called to check on him. Wouldn't want Mum to be anywhere else. The whole team are amazing and go above and beyond for the residents. Can't thank them enough or say enough good things about the whole place.

Clean, well-run residential home. Food and accommodation are excellent and the staff are exceptional. Activities are stimulating and are ongoing every week or so. If there are any incidents with my mother the staff are quick to inform me of the situation.

I've been so comforted that my mother was able to spend her remaining years at Beech House. She recently passed away. Her family have always been made very welcome and encouraged to join in various events organised by the staff. Mum always said everyone was very nice there and she enjoyed the home-cooked food! I am very grateful to the manager and his team for the help, care and support not only shown to my mother but to her family too.

My husband moved into Beech House in Spring 2023 and has settled in really well. The staff are wonderful, really caring, and treat him with dignity. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and the entertainment is regular and varied. The management are available at all times to discuss any matters arising. I really recommend Beech House.

Meet the Team (5)

Having worked my way up from care assistant I have been the care home manager here since November 2019.
I am responsible for the day-day running of the home from liaising with CQC to the social care needs of all of our residents to many more tasks.
Managing a team of over 30 care staff means I am responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of all staff, residents, visitors and premises are to the highest standard.

I joined Beech House Care Home in September 2020. Previously having been a teaching assistant within a primary school for 14 years, and having worked within the accounting sector, I decided to combine my skills and background in joining the care industry. Now, as the Administrator at Beech House, I am responsible for liaising with the residents’ families, ordering everything that is needed within the home and creating weekly reports. Other duties also include preparing and sending information to the Head Office, such as admission and discharge forms, and compiling Month End paperwork. I thoroughly enjoy the wide range of duties I am tasked with, and how different every day at the home is.

I joined Beech House as a Senior Carer in December 2019.

After starting as a senior care assistant in August 2021, I thoroughly enjoy looking after our residents.

Joined Beech House in August 2020
