Everything @ Cavendish has improved significantly since the change management operations were enacted in January 2026. My mum's good health and well-being are noticeable, communications are better the staff are excellent and the seniors have put in extra effort to lead their team through changes. I always look forward to seeing all the staff and residents when I go in. I live 3hr drive away and now have trust and confidence in the whole team to be able to pull back a little. Mum has a busy schedule now. The fact that she doesn't need me so much anymore is testament to all Cavendish staff
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. Knowing that your mum is happy, healthy, engaged and enjoying her daily life at Cavendish means a great deal to us.
It is especially rewarding to hear that the improvements made over recent months have given you greater confidence...
The team takes the time to know her as an individual, encouraging her to join activities while always treating her with dignity, respect and warmth. Seeing her smile and knowing she feels safe brings our family great comfort.

I cannot thank the staff at Cavendish enough for all they do for my father. He has late stage dementia and over the past few weeks has declined very quickly. Their care and attention have been incredible. The manager has gone above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and keeps us up to date with his daily needs.
We understand how difficult it can be to see a loved one experiencing the challenges of late-stage dementia, and we are honoured to be able to support your father and...

My wife has Demetia and has suffered for nearly ten years. She has been cared for at the Cavendish since September 2024. In that time she has always been safe and well looked after. I have always been made very welcome when I visit. I am aware of the recent changes around staffing at the home although I was always happy with the care my wife received in my prescence. I have always been consulted on changes in medication excetra.

My brother in law is fortunate enough to be cared for by Hayleigh and the care team at Cavendish. He is on end of life care. The care and compassion shown to my brother in law and every member of my family who visits is second to none. We cannot ask for any more from the team but particularly to Hayleigh who gives and displays compassion to all without her guidance and care things would be very different.
We are delighted to hear your lovely comments about Hayley. She is a true asset to Ballagh Care Ltd and consistently goes above and beyond to provide the highest standard of care and support. We are truly happy that you find her so lovely and caring - your kind...
The Cavendish have been amazing in the care of my father. They took excellent care of him and we always made welcome on our visits. All requests were dealt with promptly and we were always updated with any new information on his care and medical needs. A warm and helpful home - all the staff and the managers ran this establishment with care and a sense of family values of respect, love and working in unity. Our sincere thanks to all the staff! Lovely staff and have made Mum feel very welcome. I am always welcomed when I visit and kept up to date on her settling in. The home is always clean and tidy and the food is nutritious. Mum enjoys the activities that are provided and has made a few friends with other residents. Overall Mum has settled in very well into the home after my concerns that she would not settle at all... the staff have made the whole process very easy.
Thank you for your great review. We are so pleased your mum has settled in so well and is enjoying her new home.
Very good, Mum is being looked after very well. Staff are excellent.
The bedrooms could be a bit more appealing.
We are generally very pleased but with there was longer/more flexibility with visits as my brother and I are not local.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate all positive feedback. With regards to activities, we are in the process of employing a new activities coordinator and the home is in the process of upgrading the bedrooms.
