I cannot thank the staff at Cavendish enough for all they do for my father. He has late stage dementia and over the past few weeks has declined very quickly. Their care and attention have been incredible. The manager has gone above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and keeps us up to date with
his daily needs.

My mum has lived in this care home for the past 18 months. I cannot recommend this care home enough. She is very well looked after and happy. The staff are lovely and kind, nothing is too much trouble.

Visited multiple times and greeted with a smile and offered a tea or coffee. They came in to check on patient a few times while I have been in and assisted on her needs. Very grateful she is in safe, caring hands.

Always greeted with a smile and "hello", would you like a drink? Since my husband has been in Winsford House, he has put on weight. He seems very cheerful. He's always clean and tidy, and well looked after. The thing you notice too, as you walk in, is that there is no smell of urine as in the other
homes. If I need advice or to speak to the manageress, she's always willing to listen and to help and suggest, if possible. It's a great place for my husband, and I would not want him to go anywhere else.

Cavendish care home is a lovely care home with staff that really care for your family members. It offers a very welcoming environment with very spacious rooms which really feel like home. The few areas of improvement I would recommend are 1. Ensuring all TVs are working in all rooms so all residents
have the same facilities on offer. 2. An app or something that photos can be shared of family members of what they have got up to each day and where you can see how they've been each day and what they have eaten/drank just how most nurseries do now for children. When a family member is in a home, you want to be able to be as close to them as possible at all times so I think this would really help 3. Cameras installed so incidents will never got
unwitnessed. 4. Softer floorings/soft rugs in bedrooms so falls will cause less injuries.

Can't thank the home enough for what they have done so far for my grandmother. Very happy with the care she has been provided so far and she is settling in well. Very impressed with the staff and how the staff are with the residents.

All seems good at the moment. Things have settled down with the new staffing arrangements. My mother is upstairs and her corridor is used as a storage area for large bulky pieces of equipment this has been the case for quite a while and while there hasn't been any problems it's is an accident waiting
to happen.

I am very pleased with the level of care that my mum receives from the staff at the care home. I am always warmly welcomed by the staff, the facilities are clean and my mum always looks clean and well cared for.
I was especially pleased on one occasional when I arrived (unannounced) to find a member
of staff playing a game of scrabble with my mum, this shows that the staff really know the residents that they are caring for.
Staff are always happy to answer any questions and communication with families is good.
The care home provides a safe, caring environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect.

My mother is a resident at Winsford house and all across the board, the carers, management, entertainment, cooks, are brilliant. I can sleep well at night knowing she is very well cared for. (There is a gorgeous garden too).

A regular visitor and always looked after very well by all of the exceedingly helpful staff. - Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. The premises always appear clean and tidy, the food looks amazing and the staff project a happy and content demeanour. I visit a friend and ex work colleague of mine
who suffers dementia.

My father was admitted to Gairloch House a few weeks ago. The handover from the hospital was delayed by quite a few hours but he was received with the utmost care even though it was much later than expected. My father is being treated with great care and respect during a very confusing and difficult
time for him. His personal care is done with respect. He is well looked after. I would recommend Gairloch House for dementia care.

It's a good experience at Gairlock. I feel that everyone cares, and I feel that the residents are cared for with dignity, which I feel is important. Everyone always looks cared for, hair done, clothes tidy and clean. The staff interact with the residents, and the management interacts as well. All in

I am very pleased with the level of care provided at this care home. From the moment you walk through the door, there is a warm, friendly atmosphere that immediately puts families at ease.


The facilities are clean, but are tired special the bedrooms. Activities are varied and engaging, helping residents

tay active and connected. Communication with families is excellent, and staff are always willing to provide updates or answer questions.
I would like to see more staff engaging with the residents on a one tone basis instead of having to fill in forms on their ipads but I do know they are always having to keep up with training.


Overall, this care home provides a safe, caring, and supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality care for their loved one.

I'm always made welcome when visiting my wife, who has Alzheimer's. Staff are caring and attentive. With activities for residents every day she gets the stimulation she needs. I would recommend this home.

My wife has Demetia and has suffered for nearly ten years. She has been cared for at the Cavendish since September 2024. In that time she has always been safe and well looked after. I have always been made very welcome when I visit. I am aware of the recent changes around staffing at the home although
I was always happy with the care my wife received in my prescence. I have always been consulted on changes in medication excetra.
