Everything @ Cavendish has improved significantly since the change management operations were enacted in January 2026. My mum's good health and well-being are noticeable, communications are better the staff are excellent and the seniors have put in extra effort to lead their team through changes. I always look forward to seeing all the staff and residents when I go in. I live 3hr drive away and now have trust and confidence in the whole team to be able to pull back a little. Mum has a busy schedule now. The fact that she doesn't need me so much anymore is testament to all Cavendish staff

Marked food down a little as sometimes food is luke warm and bits cold (veg). Some food items can be on the cheap side i e. sausages

I find this care home to be a happy place. Residents like it here and they could not be looked after any better, Staff are always in attendance and genuinely care for the people in their care and are always happy. Even when all our young great grandchildren turned up for Grandads birthday was played with, they had a great time

My friend has been in care now for a year but only in Gairloch House since Nov 2025. He has settled in and when asked if he likes living there he always replies yes he does. He gets on with staff and management. As he suffers from dementia he can sometimes be a bit difficult but staff are always on hand polite and caring. He does spend most of his time in his room but that seems to be what he wants to do, he also is allowed into the garden and has a cigarette which he enjoys so this care home is ticking all boxes for his needs so I have no worries of his well being.

I cannot thank the staff at Cavendish enough for all they do for my father. He has late stage dementia and over the past few weeks has declined very quickly. Their care and attention have been incredible. The manager has gone above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and keeps us up to date with his daily needs.

My mum has lived in this care home for the past 18 months. I cannot recommend this care home enough. She is very well looked after and happy. The staff are lovely and kind, nothing is too much trouble.

Visited multiple times and greeted with a smile and offered a tea or coffee. They came in to check on patient a few times while I have been in and assisted on her needs. Very grateful she is in safe, caring hands.

Always greeted with a smile and "hello", would you like a drink? Since my husband has been in Winsford House, he has put on weight. He seems very cheerful. He's always clean and tidy, and well looked after. The thing you notice too, as you walk in, is that there is no smell of urine as in the other homes. If I need advice or to speak to the manageress, she's always willing to listen and to help and suggest, if possible. It's a great place for my husband, and I would not want him to go anywhere else.

Can't thank the home enough for what they have done so far for my grandmother. Very happy with the care she has been provided so far and she is settling in well. Very impressed with the staff and how the staff are with the residents.

My dad is a resident and when we come to visit we are always made to feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and are always here to help.

The care home provides a safe, caring environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect.

My mother is a resident at Winsford house and all across the board, the carers, management, entertainment, cooks, are brilliant. I can sleep well at night knowing she is very well cared for. (There is a gorgeous garden too).

A regular visitor and always looked after very well by all of the exceedingly helpful staff. - Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. The premises always appear clean and tidy, the food looks amazing and the staff project a happy and content demeanour. I visit a friend and ex work colleague of mine who suffers dementia.

My father was admitted to Gairloch House a few weeks ago. The handover from the hospital was delayed by quite a few hours but he was received with the utmost care even though it was much later than expected. My father is being treated with great care and respect during a very confusing and difficult time for him. His personal care is done with respect. He is well looked after. I would recommend Gairloch House for dementia care.

It's a good experience at Gairlock. I feel that everyone cares, and I feel that the residents are cared for with dignity, which I feel is important. Everyone always looks cared for, hair done, clothes tidy and clean. The staff interact with the residents, and the management interacts as well. All in all, I'm very happy with everything.
