My dad was very well looked after throughout two and a half years at the Brambles. It's staffed by lovely people who really cared for my dad and who made my dad's last two and a half years there as happy as they could be. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the home is well run. Brambles has a homely feel to it, nurturing and caring. Processes and procedures are well adhered to and I was always well communicated with.

After our dad sadly passed away 5 years ago and who was mum 24hr caregiver we realistically knew that as a family we were unable to care for mums 24hr care needs.The Brambles was recommended to us by a friend and we haven't looked back! It really is a lovely care home, kind and caring and looking after mums needs in every way! As they say the proof is in the pudding and that is seeing her happy smiley face each time we visit. I have found the home has dealt with the resident I am POA for with care and attention. She has various health issues but once these have been acknowledged and understood they have devised a care package including diet to ensure she lives a happy and comfortable life with them.

The carers are very helpful, friendly and kind with my mum who has very limited mobility. She has a lovely room which is kept very fresh and clean....

She is happy at Brambles and has a lovely size room with panoramic sea views over the Thames estuary. Thanks to all the staff there for their continued care.
Thank you for your review, we have a varied activity plan each week and plan outings most weeks. We have been unable to get in the garden this year due to ongoing building works. We hope to be able to do more in the summer next year. We have and app in place to enable relatives to see what activities we have been up to and we keep an activity log that we can send over also.
Mum seems to really enjoy the fun activities that run throughout the day/week, there's always plenty on to keep her active and engaged...

My dad came to Brambles in a poor state physically and with mid-stage dementia and, at the age of 94, had been living at home with private carers and daughters on hand to assist him. My dad came to Brambles in a poor state physically and with mid-stage dementia and, at the age of 94, had been living at home with private carers and daughters on hand to assist him. However, by Oct 22, it became clear after numerous falls that Dad could not stay at home. When I met the care home manager, I warmed to her immediately, and she took Dad on despite how frail he was. From the moment Dad arrived, he did much better. He was always clean, personally shaved and washed, and bedding changed daily as he was double incontinent. All the carers were friendly to him, treated him with dignity and took care when handling him. There is no doubt in my mind Brambles gave Dad 10 extra months of life as he definitely initially did much better in their care. Sadly dementia increased, and care rose to the challenge. Dad passed away peacefully after a short illness in his lovely sea-view room. Thank you, Brambles, so much for taking such care of my dad.
