Brambles Care Home is a residential home located in the sunny seaside town of Leigh On Sea, built in 1908 and set within 1/3 of an acre of landscaped garden. They provide the best possible care and consideration in comfortable surroundings within a homely atmosphere.

They aim to provide the best possible care to their residents. They achieve this by providing a caring and respectable atmosphere within the residential care home for each individual resident. The most effective way of meeting the needs of the residents is by individual care plans. Brambles Care Home is exactly what you would want from a care home. When you need support for your parents and don't want to worry about them constantly, then Brambles and the staff takes the stress away. When visiting there is never a restriction and you are always made to feel welcome. The staff enjoy
getting to know the resident as well as the guests visiting. The facilities are excellent, the staff provide constant attention throughout the day and night. The attention to detail is perfect, from making sure the medication is given to providing superb food. The meals are freshly made and cooked every day. The care home is kept extremely clean and they encourage bringing in personal items from the resident's home to make them feel more at home, removing any thought that the residents are in a hospital but more in their own home. I have found the Brambles Care Home in Leigh On Sea offers excellent residential nursing and dementia care in pleasant and comfortable surroundings, the gardens are particularly fine. The carers encourage residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible with regular activities to help achieve
this aim. Residents are supported to live as active and fulfilled a life as possible. For those residents suffering with dementia, the team of carers empower them to take part in various activities designed to give them as great a fulfilled life as possible.
The professionalism shown by the staff is only matched by the high levels of care they provide on a daily basis. I have no difficulty in recommending Brambles as a comfortable and safe home.

We took time finding a home for Mum. With her progressing Alzheimer's and vascular dementia, The Brambles Care Home's warm welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, happy residents and lovely garden seemed perfect.
For the two years, Mum lived at The Brambles she was well cared for. We visited regularly
and she was always happy, chatty and inevitably singing. As the dementia progressed, she was treated with respect and dignity, and we were genuinely grateful for the team's thoughtful consideration towards us too, particularly at the end of her life. We highly recommend The Brambles based on our experience.

Mum is well cared for, clean and her medication is administered professionally.
Mum had a stay in hospital recently and the ambulance crew commented on the Brambles knowledge of Mum's condition when they arrived.

The team at Brambles Care Home have been looking after Mum for more than 6 years and during that time have provided the highest standard of care for my mother. She suffers from dementia and her condition has deteriorated over that time to the point where she is bed bound and completely dependent on
the staff for all her needs. Her care is thorough, professional and caring and it is a credit to the staff at Brambles that she is so well settled given her highly dependent situation. All the staff are friendly and approachable and have the needs of their residents top of mind at all times. We are very lucky to have Mum in such good care.

My nanna has been at the Brambles Care Home for almost ten years and has just celebrated her 100th birthday. All the staff couldn't have done more to make it special for her and also to accommodate us as a family. She is very well looked after and treated with care and dignity. I highly recommend the

My aunt had been in Brambles Care Home for a number of years and I cannot speak too highly of the place. I visited many homes before picking Brambles and was impressed on my visit and am pleased to say it carried on working to a very high standard all the time my aunt was there. When I first visited
the district nurse was there and said this is the best home around so hopefully you can get your aunt in. I am pleased to say we did. In December my aunt became very unwell and was put on end-of-life care. The staff were very kind and looked after her as well as I believe any family member would have done.
I was always impressed with the food and how clean the home was. The smell in some of the homes I visited was very unpleasant, to say the least.
To sum up, very nice place with great staff led by the manager.

I knew that my mother was being looked after with the upmost care and attention she needed. Brambles Care Home set high standards and was always very clean and tidy at all times. I know my mother was very happy at Brambles and the carers played a big part in her happiness.

The Brambles Care Home looked after my mum in her final 15 months. She had advanced Alzheimers and the team there were very experienced at looking after someone with such needs.
The manager was determined to keep COVID out of the home for as long as possible with rigorous standards. She was amazingly
successful with this.
There were some wonderful carers at the home. Although I didn't get to know them as well as I might pre-COVID, I could tell that they always treated my mum with dignity and respect.
Anyone with a relative with advanced Alzheimer's knows how hard it is to communicate with their loved one, but I could always tell from Mum's general demeanour that she was happy and comfortable at the home.
I felt secure about Mum being there and knew her needs were being taken care of. That's really the best recommendation I can give I think. Under the manager's leadership, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to a prospective resident.

Mum has been here since 2014 and we have had no concerns at all since she has been here. The staff are wonderful and their dedication throughout the Covid situation was exceptional. They are aware of the individual needs of each resident and the needs of the residents come first in everything they do.
They think up a wide range of activities and are always finding interesting things to keep the residents entertained and engaged. As Mum has deteriorated, the care provided is adjusted to accommodate the change in her needs. Never a big fuss about anything and there is always an air of calm when you visit.

The Brambles was a fantastic home for my nan who passed away recently. She spent her final days being cared for so well, where nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were friendly and attentive to her needs from day one. Would strongly recommend this care home for your loved one.

My mother-in-law was well cared for all the time she was in the Brambles. Staff were always polite and caring towards her and her family and we were always made to feel welcome any time we visited. My mother-in-law always looked clean and well cared for and her room was comfortable. I would recommend

The staff were lovely, friendly and approachable. The staff supported my mother with her needs while I was visiting and during this time, showed my mother dignity and respect at all times. My mother was beautifully dressed and well cared for. I asked a question with regards to my mother's care and was

Brambles is the best home you could wish, for a relative to be in. The care and attention is fantastic. There are activities for residents to do every day, and the meals are lovely, nutritious and well presented. The staff are very approachable as is the manager. We have nothing but praise for the care
and treatment our mum received in the 11-years she was a resident until she passed away in January 2022. Even the care afforded to her after she passed away, was exemplary. We have nothing but praise for them.
