I have noticed real improvements to the home, with its redecoration, pictures, a quiet space, the garden is lovely and there are photos of the residents. The staff are friendly and always pleasant and helpful. They take very good care of mum. The staff and management are very approachable and if there were any concerns they can be raised and dealt with immediately in a professional manner.

My mother has been a resident since October 2024. Brookdale House is a real 'home from home', with a really warm and friendly atmosphere. The care my mum has received has been exemplary, with the staff all going the extra mile to really get to know her, her difficulties, what makes her laugh and what upsets her. Mum suffers from dementia and I can honestly say that since being there she has become more confident and much happier than when she lived at home. This is entirely down to the dedication and patience of the staff, for which we are very grateful.

I am fully qualified in care and have achieved my NVQ levels 2,3,4, and the Registered Managers award. I have also completed additional training in Dementia level 3, Medicine management level 3 and safeguarding level 5.
The care home lists weekly fees per person between £1,500 and £1,600 for residential care (respite between £1,500 and £1,600) and between £1,300 and £1,600 for residential dementia care (respite between £1,500 and £1,600). Funding accepted: Self-Funding (Private), Local Authority with Top-up, Local Authority, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
