My mum has been a resident of Brookdale House since January 2025. I've been amazed just how happy and relaxed she has become since moving to the care home. She loves the company the residents and staff provide and has made new friends. There is a lovely atmosphere about the place.
The care home staff
are professional, caring, helpful and very friendly. They do a wonderful job. I always feel welcome whenever I visit. I've been especially impressed with the prompt communication with me regarding any health issues or concerns.
I'm really pleased we found this care home for mum. It has proved to be an excellent choice.

My mother has been a resident at the care home since February 28th 2025, she has dementia but since being at the care home my mum has been very happy and quite frankly has thrived their.
On the numerous occasions I have visited mum has always been in good spirits and the difference that I have noticed
has been remarkable.
The director and the staff have been excellent and any issues what so ever have been brought to my attention very quickly.
Overall I am very impressed with the care home and the level of care given to my mum.

My mother has been a resident since October 2024. Brookdale House is a real 'home from home', with a really warm and friendly atmosphere. The care my mum has received has been exemplary, with the staff all going the extra mile to really get to know her, her difficulties, what makes her laugh and what
upsets her. Mum suffers from dementia and I can honestly say that since being there she has become more confident and much happier than when she lived at home. This is entirely down to the dedication and patience of the staff, for which we are very grateful.

We have noticed real improvements to the home, namely, redecoration, pictures, a quiet space, the garden is lovely and there are photos of the residents. The staff are friendly and always pleasant and helpful. They take very good care of Dad.

Very highly recommended. My husband has been a resident at Brookdale House since February 2023 when his dementia worsened so he needed special care. He settled in quickly with his new friends and is extremely happy there.
All the staff are exceptionally patient, kind and caring. There is a lot of love
at Brookdale, the atmosphere is homely and welcoming. When I visit I am always greeted with a smile.

I spend a lot of time at Brookdale House and recently attended a family barbeque for residents, their families and staff families and friends. The atmosphere in the beautiful gardens was wonderful, with music and garden displays and the residents had such a fabulous day.
Brookdale staff continually
come up with great ideas to light up the home and inject some warmth and magic into the day-to-day lives of the residents.

The care home is a really fantastic and caring environment. The staff truly care about the residents which is lovely to see and they've really made it into a unique and homely space for them. The garden especially looks fantastic after a lot of hard work by a member of staff, with lots of areas with
fun themes including a little bus stop, post box and a cafe. The chef creates weekly menus so everyone gets a varied and tasty diet, that also adheres to their dietary requirements (e.g. freshly baked, diabetic-friendly brownies for residents with diabetes so no one misses out).
Brookdale House is a wonderful care home and I'd feel very happy if I had a family member living there.

My partner has been with Brookdale House since November 2023. She settled in very well and got on well with all the staff and made new friends. I try and visit every day and am always welcomed by the staff. Over the months, my partner's well-being has improved immensely, to such an extent her meds have
been reduced.
The ongoing improvements to the building and the garden especially are really making a difference.
Overall, Brookdale is perfect for my partner, she is very happy and I couldn't ask for more.

I've been using Brookdale House for respite for my mum. Just booked for the third time and hoping to return many more times. The team are friendly and professional. A member of staff keeps me updated throughout Mum's stay and I know Mum is being cared for. Brookdale is home from home!

My Mother is well cared for at Brookdale by dedicated staff members. I am always informed of any issues or concerns they have with her general health. Mum is really happy in the home and although she is not fully aware 100% of the time (due to her mental health) I can see the care she gets is appreciated.

The Brookdale team provide excellent care ensuring residents are safe, happy and well looked after. The team are very welcoming to the residents' families and invites families to join in activities and events with their loved ones.
Communication is excellent. Keeping resident's families fully up to
date with their care.
The team are passionate about providing the best care for their residents and all go above and beyond. I would describe Brookdale as a family.

Overall, satisfied with the care provided however there are always areas that could be improved. At times, the staff appear under pressure dealing with needs of the residents, especially those with more complex needs, this can lead, for example, in the mornings to delays in providing timely care to
other residents. The staff are very caring to the residents and this can be clearly seen. Recent improvements to the front and gardens are nice to see.

My sister has been a resident at Brookdale House for the past sixteen months, during which we have experienced the challenges that Covid has sadly forced upon us.
Throughout this whole period, the care and compassion shown to my sister has been exceptional. Management have kept us informed of the day
to day running and Covid status together, with group Zoom calls with other families on both any negative or positive issues.
All staff are friendly and go that extra mile resulting in an extended family feeling.
My sister is well cared for both physically and emotionally and has retained her sense of humour despite the obvious advancing dementia.
Brookdale offers a caring, loving and safe environment where residents benefit from the sense of ‘family’ feeling and are encouraged to attain their individual potential in socialising or activities.

The team at Brookdale House are fantastic. Their care for my Dad is wonderful.
As a family, we are totally reassured that Dad is safe and being looked after in a highly professional and friendly manner.
Throughout the last year, the management team have been superb. They have kept us fully informed
and taken any required action immediately during what must surely have been the most challenging of years for care homes ever.
We are delighted that Dad is being so well looked after.

My nan has been at the home for just over 4 weeks having moved from her own home into one of the new rooms, she was incredibly nervous as it was such a big change, but from the moment she arrived the team were amazing and have continued to be so. Mum has been at Brookdale over a year. She has improved so much from the previous care home. Mum is well cared for and Brookdale staff adjust to Mum's condition. They keep me informed of any changes and are always friendly and approachable. I would recommend Brookdale 100%.
