I have found whenever I need any information about my sister that the staff are more than helpful and kept me well informed. I never yet found any problem, having all the help from them. My sister has never complained about any bad treatment she has received from the home. I wish them the best in the
future.

My father-in-law has been at the Grosvenor for approximately three years now and we have been very happy with the service and care provided to him. More importantly, my father-in-law is very happy there and has expressed on a number of occasions that he does not want to move - for us this is the best
reassurance we can receive. During COVID the staff have been under immense worry and pressure dealing with horrific unprecedented circumstances, all of which they have dealt with incredibly well. Our thanks and gratitude go out to all the staff that have continued to work tirelessly, ensuring as best they can the safety and care of my father-in-law and his fellow residents. Thank you.

The home is blessed with nice staff. I have had problems but the most important thing is that I can talk to staff and management and I would say that the home is going in the right direction. Thank you to staff during the COVID time.

My grandmother was a resident at Grosvenor Care Home for a little over a year, and we cannot fault the dedication or care with which she was treated by the staff. We were made welcome by the management from the first day we went to see the home, and that remained constant throughout all of our subsequent
visits. My grandmother had dementia, and the staff were always patient with her, kept us informed of any changes in her condition, and were very friendly to us on our regular visits. Her room was clean and tidy, and she was always dressed well. When the home was closed due to Covid-19, they kept us informed of her condition, and made sure we could have private video call in order to say goodbye. They have been more than kind and supportive to us in this difficult time, and we couldn’t have wished for Grandmother to be in other home.

My mother has been resident at Grosvenor Court since last Autumn and has been very happy there. The care she has received has been excellent. Her rooms are well kept and clean. The communal rooms are fresh and clean and decorated in a bright and welcoming style. All of the staff are friendly and caring
and willing to engage any of the residents in conversation as they go about their work. The family have been kept informed of Mum's condition and we have been able to speak to her over the phone, and in video chats while the home was in lockdown. When the home has been open we have been able to visit her whenever we choose and have been made welcome. The staff really take an interest in their resident's lives too. Grosvenor Court really is a home from home for their residents and there is a family atmosphere about the place.

My wife came as an emergency placement. The care she receives is second to none. The care staff work very hard and they are supported with two heads of care and a manager.
The manager instructs her team to ensure that high standards of care are always met.

My friend was like a second mum to me, she was the most beautiful person, never had a bad thought and was so kind to all. I really worried about how she would cope in a home after not being happy in the Hospitals that she had many stays in however she has loved every day she was in Grosvenor Court home.
The staff loved her and she looked on them as family, I can not praise the staff enough including those you don't see. We lost our lady 16/10/19, I was with her, very peaceful. Thank you all so very much for the love and care she had in her final years.

My mum was in Grosvenor Court from October 2015 to January 2018.


She had advanced Dementia and had to go into a home because of her medical conditions.


The staff are a mixture of ages and are always very caring and hard working.
You could visit at any time which was very useful.


Regular carers

went above and beyond what they were reasonably expected to do
and even in the most difficult of circumstances were always patient, kind and professional.
Even the carers who I didn't know, cared about my Mum.


Management were always friendly and available during office hours if you had a concern.


Finding a good quality, affordable care home is a nightmare but I cannot recommend Grosvenor Court enough as I was very impressed by how my Mum was treated there.

Choosing a care home for my mum was a hard task last year but as soon as I went to Grosvenor I knew it was the one. The staff are amazing and hard working, the manager is always on hand ready to listen. I'm so happy my mum is there, well looked after and cared for.

My mum has been in Grosvenor Court since April 2016. She is nearly 89, has advanced dementia and although she is frail, she has sometimes very challenging behaviour. I cannot recommend Grosvenor Court enough as I have been very impressed by the care my mum has received there. The manager and the staff
are all very caring, thoughtful and they treat the residents with dignity. My mum's room is always clean and tidy and my mum is always dressed well and looked after. The staff communicate regularly with me about my mum's health, diet and wellbeing and whenever I have rung or visited, I feel that they have time for you and you are always welcome. Even when my mum has been difficult to deal with, the staff have been very kind with her and I know she is safe and being looked after.
I had to move my mum quickly from a previous care home as the treatment she had was very poor and that is why I feel Grosvenor Court is such a lovely place.

My mother has been a resident at the home since June 2016. Like most families, it was an extremely difficult decision to move her into a home but she had dementia and paranoid schizophrenia and my father found it difficult to cope. We were quite worried as to how she would cope with moving into a home
and it was a bit bumpy at the beginning, but surprisingly, she adjusted very quickly thanks to the great staff at Grosvenor Court. The Manager is absolutely fantastic and will always respond to a phone call or email from the family if we have a query. In fact, my mother, in one of her more lucid moments, said to me recently “The people are very nice here”, and that is my criteria: If my mother is happy then we are happy and she is – very!

My mother was cared for from the 15th April to the 4th June 2016.
Myself, brother and father cannot praise the manager and her care team within this home highly enough.
They cared with dignity and compassion and made her last few weeks as comfortable as possible.
My father was cared for too and
was able to feel he had, if only for a short time his relationship back with his wife.
As a nurse for many years I can honestly say I have not been able to find such good care staff in a very long-time.

My dad came to Grosvenor Court after a very difficult time. He has been treated with the utmost respect and has settled in very well. The manager and staff are excellent with dad and understand his condition (brain injury). They are great with the residents and really care deeply about their welfare.
The manager has kept me informed about dad as she knew I was anxious about him. I can not thank the manager and her team enough. I now have a happy dad for the first time in a while. Thank you.
