Beginning her career in domiciliary care in 2010, she progressed through positions including Senior Carer, Supervisor, and Deputy Manager, gaining a comprehensive understanding of every level of care delivery.

A CQC Registered Manager, Nicola holds a BA (Hons) in Health & Social Care, an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and a NEBOSH certificate, among other professional qualifications. Passionate about lifelong learning, she is currently studying for a Level 7 in Strategic Leadership and Management, further enhancing her ability to lead effectively and drive high standards of care.

Nicola is committed to continuous professional development and believes there are always opportunities to learn, grow, and improve practice to benefit residents and staff alike. She takes great pride in the running of Harpwood and describes herself as honoured to serve in her role, ensuring resident welfare remains at the heart of everything she does.

With 15 years of experience in health and social care, Amalia brings both extensive knowledge and compassion to her role. She has progressed through a variety of positions, including Carer, Senior Carer, Team Leader, and Care Planner, before joining the Practice Development Team and later becoming Deputy Manager at Harpwood.

Amalia is skilled in both the practical and theoretical aspects of care, enabling her to approach her role with professionalism, empathy, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. She holds an NVQ Level 5 and a Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and is currently studying towards her Level 7 in Strategic Leadership and Management.

Passionate about resident wellbeing, Amalia describes those in her care as “friends” and is dedicated to building meaningful relationships. Her goal is to ensure residents enjoy their later years in comfort, dignity, and a high-quality setting.

With 14 years of experience in health and social care, Kodie brings expertise, dedication, and compassion to her role as Clinical Lead. She began her career as a Senior Carer and has spent the past seven years at Harpwood, where she has become a valued member of the team and a strong advocate of the home’s ethos and vision.

Kodie is committed to creating a supportive, secure, and inclusive environment for residents, relatives, and staff alike. Her knowledge and competence are backed by a range of qualifications, including a Level 4 NVQ, a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and a Lead to Succeed certification, among others.

Alongside her role at Harpwood, Kodie is currently in her second year of a Nursing degree, reflecting her passion for continual learning and professional development. She takes pride in building on her skills to further enhance the care and wellbeing of those she supports.

Candy is one of Harpwood’s Clinical Leads and plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care across the home. As a Registered Nurse with experience as a Ward Sister, she brings deep expertise, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to clinical excellence.

Dedicated, professional, and highly knowledgeable, Candy is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her determination to get things right. She provides robust clinical oversight and ensures best practice is consistently followed, making her central to the safety, well-being, and confidence of both residents and staff.

Lesley is the friendly face of Harpwood, welcoming residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism. With over 22 years of experience in health and social care, she brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her role.

Throughout her career, Lesley has held a variety of positions, including Domestic, Carer, Deputy Manager, and now Receptionist, giving her a well-rounded perspective of the care environment. She holds Level 2, 3, and 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care, as well as specialist training in Palliative Care and Safeguarding, among others.

Known for always going the extra mile, Lesley ensures that everyone who visits Harpwood feels welcome, informed, and supported. Her dedication and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of the team.

Naomi joined the Harpwood team in 2025 and is passionate about supporting residents and their families throughout every stage of their journey. With a warm and approachable nature, she takes pride in building and nurturing meaningful relationships, ensuring that residents and relatives feel valued, supported, and cared for.

Dedicated to going above and beyond, Naomi is committed to making sure that everyone receives not only what they need but more. Her open-door approach means she is always available to provide guidance, reassurance, and support – from pre-admission and onwards.

Alongside her role, Naomi is currently studying for her Level 5 in Data and Technology Leadership in Adult Social Care.

Linda is one of Harpwood’s amazing nurses, bringing with her an incredible 44 years of experience in health and social care. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, gaining a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise.

She holds an NVQ Level 3 and is currently working towards her Level 4, alongside a Diploma in Adult Nursing. Linda’s motivation lies in delivering the highest quality of care, with a particular passion for supporting and nurturing the elderly.

Known for her strong work ethic and positive attitude, nothing is ever too much for Linda. Her dedication and compassion make her a treasured member of the Harpwood team.

Blessy is one of the Duty Managers at Harpwood House, bringing extensive knowledge and compassion to her role. She is highly qualified, holding both a Master’s and Doctorate in Pharmacy, completed in India. In addition, she has achieved her NVQ Level 3 and is currently working towards her Level 4 qualification.

Passionate about healthcare, Blessy takes pride in supporting residents and ensuring they receive the comfort and care they need. Her dedication, professionalism, and kind nature make her a valued member of the Harpwood team.

Bigil is one of Harpwood’s outstanding senior carers, known for his warmth, respect, patience, and kindness. With his natural charm and friendly nature, he quickly puts everyone at ease and makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and his genuine care for others shines through in everything he does. We’re confident you’ll love Bigil just as much as we do.

Amal is one of Harpwood’s senior carers. Easy-going and approachable, he quickly puts people at ease with his warm smile and genuine willingness to help. Hardworking and full of energy, Amal loves getting involved in activities with our residents, helping them feel relaxed, comfortable, and truly themselves. He is a much treasured member of the Harpwood team.

Ed is Harpwood’s groundsman and resident 'maker of things'. If something needs building, fixing, or inventing, he is usually the one to make it happen. Many of the sensory and tactile enrichment pieces found around the home are his handiwork, thoughtfully made to support residents’ well-being.

Ed takes great pride in maintaining Harpwood’s beautiful grounds and gardens, helping to create a calm and enjoyable environment for everyone. And with Harpwood’s well-known love of animals, he also works closely with them, making sure they’re fit, healthy, and happy. Reliable, creative, and quietly talented, Ed plays a vital role in everyday life at Harpwood.

Joe looks after the upkeep of Harpwood, making sure the home is presentable, safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for everyone. With experience across building, construction, and scaffolding, he brings plenty of practical know-how to the role and takes real pride in his work.

Always friendly and easy to talk to, Joe is known for his great sense of humour and chatty nature. He’s often found sharing a laugh with residents and staff while getting on with the job at hand. Hard-working, kind, and always willing to help, Joe is an essential part of everyday life at Harpwood.

Julie is a valued member of the Activities Team at Harpwood, supporting residents to engage in a wide variety of activities both within the home and out in the community. Her enthusiasm and positive energy make her a natural fit for the role, helping to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Known for her friendly, funny, and outgoing personality, Julie is much loved by the residents she works with. She takes great joy in socialising with them, ensuring that every activity is not only enjoyable but also meaningful, enriching daily life at Harpwood.

Ally has been a valued member of the Harpwood team for seven years, ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and hygiene throughout the home. Known for being confident, kind, and hilarious, Ally brings positivity and warmth to both colleagues and residents alike.

She enjoys taking time to stop and chat with residents, building friendly connections that brighten their day. Ally takes great pride in her work, striving every day to create an environment where people can thrive-an environment that feels just like home.

Grace is a passionate and talented chef with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Working alongside her husband Phil, she provides residents at Harpwood with high-quality catering that combines skill, care, and creativity.

Comfortable with a wide range of cuisines and techniques, Grace is particularly renowned for her delicious pastries and cakes, which have become a favourite among residents and visitors alike. She holds a Diploma in Professional Cookery as well as a Food Hygiene Certificate, alongside other professional qualifications.

For Grace, the greatest motivation comes from the joy and satisfaction her food brings to residents and their families. She takes pride in creating meals that not only meet high standards but also bring comfort, enjoyment, and a sense of home.

Phil is one half of Harpwood’s husband-and-wife catering team, bringing passion, skill, and dedication to his role as Chef. With extensive experience and qualifications, he is confident in all areas of food preparation and service, making him a highly valued member of the Harpwood team.

Able to cook in a variety of styles with ease, Phil takes pride in catering to individual tastes and dietary needs, ensuring every resident enjoys nutritious, high-quality meals. Known for his friendly and professional approach, he strives to deliver excellent service and create food that residents and families can truly enjoy.

Dean is one of the Compliance Managers for Graham Care, responsible for ensuring that homes operate in line with all legal and regulatory standards. With previous experience as a CQC Inspector, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in understanding and applying the requirements set by governing bodies.

Dynamic and adaptable, Dean supports multiple homes across the group, helping them to not only meet but exceed compliance expectations. He holds a degree in Social Policy and Public Sector Management, which provides valuable insight into the broader frameworks that shape the care sector.

Motivated by a passion for improving quality of life, Dean is dedicated to making a positive difference for residents and is always ready to offer support wherever it is needed.
