Working in health & social care since 2010, Nicola is well versed in her sector.
Starting in domiciliary, working her way through roles including senior carer, supervisor and deputy manager Nicola has a deep understanding of every level of care.
CQC registered and holding a BA (hons) in health & social care, as well as an NVQ level 5 in leadership and management and a NEBOSH certificate amongst others, Nicola is an advocate for continuing professional development.
Currently, she is studying for a level 7 in strategic leadership and management and believes there is always more to learn and ways to improve practice and resident welfare.
Nicola takes great pride in the running of Harpwood and describes herself as honoured to hold the role.
Job Title: Deputy manager

Amalia has worked in health & social care for 15 years.
Amalia has held roles including carer, senior carer, team leader, care planner then moving onto the practice development team before becoming a deputy here at Harpwood.
Proficient in practical applications and theoretical, technical development Amalia is able to perform her role as deputy empathetically and professionally.
Amalia has a range of qualifications, including but not limited to an NVQ level 5, a level 5 in leadership and management; and is currently working towards her level 7 in strategic leadership and management.
Amalia describes her residents as 'friends' and strives to build strong relationships with them whilst making their last years enjoyable, in a comfortable and quality setting.
Job Title: Clinical Lead

Kodie is the current clinical lead, having worked in health & social care for 14 years and starting as a senior carer.
Kodie has spent 7 of those years with us here at Harpwood.
Kodie is a loyal advocate of our ethos and vision for the home and hopes to create a supportive, secure and inclusive environment for staff, residents and relatives alike.
Kodie is knowledgeable and competent, holding qualifications such as a level 4 NVQ, level 3 in health & social care and a lead to succeed certification, amongst others.
When not at Harpwood, Kodie studies for her second year of her nursing degree and enjoys developing her skills and knowledge.

Lesley is the friendly face of Harpwood, boasting 22 years of experience in health and social care.
Lesley has level 2, 3 and 5 qualifications in health and social care, as well as a level 3 in palliative
care and safeguarding amongst others.
From domestic, carer, deputy manager to receptionist her wealth of knowledge in all things care
makes her a valuable part of the team.
Our visitors always leave reception with a smile on their face as she really does go the extra mile
to make visitors feel welcome, informed and empowered.

Job Title: Compliance Manager
Dean is one of the compliance managers for Graham Care, overseeing the critical aspects of running a care home in accordance with the law. Dean is incredibly familiar with the standards set by governing bodies, having previously been a CQC inspector. Dean is incredibly dynamic and supports multiple homes within our group to meet and exceed these standards. Dean holds a degree in social policy & public sector management which brings valuable insight into the homes he is assigned to. Dean describes his motivation as making the overall quality of life better for residents, and a desire to help wherever he can.
Job Title: Activities team
Julie is a member of the activities team at Harpwood, she supports residents in engaging with various activities both inside and outside the home.
Julie is a delight and her personality makes her a great fit for the Harpwood, she loves to socialise with the residents, who describe her as friendly, funny and outgoing.
Job Title: Maintenance
Colin provides maintenance for all areas of Harpwood.
Colin is an experienced maintenance man, aiming to deal with issues thoroughly and promptly.
He is happy to speak with relatives and residents to discuss maintenance concerns.
Colin is cheerful, friendly and selfless, often stepping beyond his role as maintenance, helping family and residents wherever he can, hoping to bring a smile to their face.

Grace is a passionate and talented chef, working in the industry for over 20 years.
Grace works alongside husband Phil, together they provide high standards of catering for the home.
Grace is comfortable with various cuisines and techniques, here at Harpwood she is particularly renowned for her amazing pastries and cakes!
Grace has a diploma in professional cookery and holds a certificate in food hygiene, amongst many others.
Grace is motivated by and gets satisfaction from the reaction she gets from residents and relatives when they are happy with the service and food provided.

One half of the husband and wife team, Phil is an extraordinary and passionate chef.
Comfortable in all areas of food preparation and service, Phil is vastly qualified and is a valued member of the Harpwood team.
Phil can cook in many styles with ease, and is happy to cater to specific tastes.
Friendly, professional and highly skilled, Phil strives to provide excellent service and nutritious, high quality food to all in our care.

Beloved Ally has worked at Harpwood for seven years now, providing exceptional standards of housekeeping and hygiene around the home. Ally is described as confident, kind and hilarious! Ally enjoys stopping to check in with the residents and have a chat. Ally prides herself on her standards and does the best she can every day to provide an environment people can thrive in- an environment that replicates how people would like their own home to be kept.
Job Title: Duty manager
Lovely Blessy is one of the duty managers at Harpwood house. Blessy is vastly qualified and has a masters and doctorate in Pharmacy which she undertook in India. Blessy also has an NVQ level 3 and is currently working her way towards the level 4. Blessy enjoys working in healthcare and bringing comfort and aid to those in need.
Job Title: Nurse
Linda is one of our nurses, she has 44 years of quality experience in health & social care. Linda has held various roles during her service. Linda has an NVQ level 3 and is working on achieving her level 4 as well as having a diploma in adult nursing. Linda describes her motivation as providing top quality care with a combined passion in looking after and nurturing the elderly. Nothing is ever too much for Linda, her strong work ethic and positive attitude make her a treasured part of our team.

Selina is a member of the activities team at Harpwood, working with us for four years now. Selina is an approachable and lovely young lady, getting satisfaction from making people smile and laugh and brightening their day with positive interactions.
