Thank you for your exceptional care, patience, and love for my beloved sister Sandy. The staff showed genuine care towards her wellbeing and made sure she was comfortable at all times and they taught me how to handle my sister's dementia.

My wife has been cared for in an exemplary fashion throughout her time at Framland. To say that she and we, her related family have become part of another wide and lovely family couldn't be more true. The love and care she receives is beyond reproach and I thank God daily for his grace in enabling us all to share in her life as she progresses towards the time when she meets her maker. Christian friends recommended Framland to me and I am happy to say that I am able to continue wholeheartedly commending Framland as a centre of loving care.

I feel that a care home is dependent on the actions and behaviour of the manager. This care home now has a manager very faithful to God and all her actions are proof of that relationship. The ethos of love is tangible as one walks about the building. The staff are calm and go that extra bit to make life as nice as it can be for the residents. Every effort is made to encourage residents to join in things that they would say they enjoyed doing although especially for those with dementia this is changeable. Singing is encouraged since everyone joins in, even if only to listen. Very few people choose to end their days in a care home, but this one provides the very best possible when they can't stay in their own homes.

Our visits are always professionally handled and carried out with the minimum of fuss. Staff are polite, very helpful and keen for us to have the best experience when we visit. My mother is very well cared for and, although she does maintain that she is often bored, I do appreciate that her dementia interferes with longer term memories of what she has been doing! Staff take the trouble to sit with her and go through her folder of family photographs and encourage her to read her People’s Friend and Oxford Mail. One suggestion we have made is that she can be directed more to plan an evening’s viewing on the TV in her room. She always liked television and there are numerous programmes like The Repair Shop or Strictly which do not make demands of remembering who the characters are or following a drama plot. Her room is always neat and tidy and she is helped to maintain a good sense of dress and overall presentation - she was always smartly dressed.

My mother's incontinence problems have been treated with care, professionalism, tact and love by the staff at Framland. They took care to keep me informed, which allowed me to take part in her care as I wish to do. My mother is treated well and she is encouraged to be the woman she is despite her health problems.

Care and compassion permeate this home. Excellent management and interaction with the residents relatives. During the recent pandemic, they remained covid free, but abo made huge efforts for relatives to still connect with their loved ones. I cannot recommend this care home enough. Mum has been there now over two years.

The Framland Home is one of the most outstanding homes I have known. The care the family living at Framland receive is excellent and the staff team is of a very high standard, and is led by a really good manager. The atmosphere of the home is very welcoming and warm and the staff are always kind and thorough and give a standard of care that is first class. They take a real interest in each family member and are always happy to see visitors. The home is spotlessly clean, the food is first class and an ideal environment for all who live there. The home puts on an excellent variety of activities for those who live at Framland and as a Christian home gives the most helpful spiritual support as well. They really care for the whole person in a most gentle and compassionate manner. I cannot speak so highly of it and should I need such care myself, I would gladly live there.

This is a very caring home with wonderful staff who enjoy their roles.
Mum is always commenting on how looked after she is and how happy and comfortable she is there.

Food is excellent and the building is very secure without it feeling like a prison. The building is excellently maintained and I strongly recommend this care home to anyone thinking about living here.
