Grace House Care Home Ltd provides residential care to older people and those living with the challenges of dementia, disabilities or sensory impairment. They can also accommodate shorter stays, such as convalescent care after a hospital visit, respite care or palliative care.

Grace House is set on a country lane in the bucolic outskirts of Farnham, Surrey. A stone’s throw from a medical practice, the home is also close to nearby amenities in the village of Lower Bourne.

Set over two floors, residents each have their own bedroom and some bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The home has a private garden where residents can relax and get some fresh air, or sometimes spot visiting wildlife from the surrounding woodlands and fields.

Residents are valued as individuals and their needs and wishes are supported through person-centred care plans. Food is freshly prepared in the home’s kitchen and the kitchen team know each resident’s dietary requirements, favourite foods and dislikes.

There is a weekly timetable of activities to keep residents stimulated and entertained. Activities can include quizzes, art, film nights, beauty treatments, baking, flower arranging, outings and day trips, animal therapy and visiting entertainers, to name a few!

In general, this is a very 'sweet' care home. I think the small number of residents keeps it more personal. Difficult to review fully when my mother is now beyond being able to speak, walk or function as before. I did mention her hair which looked awful, but I appreciate it's hard, but was pleased to
see she seemed clean with a nice supper.

My mother has been at Grace House for two years. The staff are amazing, very kind and patient. My mother has Alzheimer's and can be very challenging, the staff never get angry or frustrated even though she can be extremely difficult. Warm, friendly, lovely atmosphere. The food is excellent. Lots of
activities with the wonderful staff. Grace House is a happy home and I would recommend it highly.

My mother was here for just over eleven years and was as happy as anyone would be in a care home. Care improved when the new owner took over. Rather upsetting that my mother's care was so expensive (because she had the funds) when many other residents received exactly the same care funded by the state.

Very caring management and staff. My relative is happy and contented, feels safe and well - when she was at home alone she was none of these things and put herself in danger. She is now healthier and so much happier.

My husband has been living in Grace House for the last five years. The home is clean and tidy with a little garden. The residents are very well looked after by the dedicated staff, always treated with kindness and respect. There is a lot of activities and entertainment provided by visiting performers.
The staff are very friendly, caring and approachable, always ready to listen and discuss suggestions and make residents and visitors feel welcome. There is a daily choice of healthy meals and treats. It has a happy and homely atmosphere. Definitely worth recommending as a good care home.

My mum stayed here for two weeks to allow my dad to have a break. The space is clean and comfortable and she had a lovely en suite room. The staff all seem very happy working there and they all get on well together. I really felt she was well taken care of during the two weeks. There is a daily schedule
of activities to keep the residents busy which includes quizzes, singing, puzzles etc.
