Unfortunately it was decided that Dad would be cared for in a residential home as he could no longer look after himself. We were given several choices of homes by Adult Social Care and we chose Park Beck. We are very happy that we made this decision. Initially my dad was quite difficult and the staff
at Park Beck dealt with this very well. He seems happier now and he gets taken to see my mum, who is in a home elsewhere, on a regular basis. Thank you!

Both my parents are having respite care for one month whilst their bungalow gets much needed work on it. The carers are always polite, patient and helpful. My parents say the food is always lovely and tasty. I visit every day without an appointment and the place is always clean. It was the best home
we viewed. Mum has a tv in her room and dad has a sensor mat for when he gets up.

The staff are very friendly, always checking in and made me feel welcome from the start. My dad has told me that they take good care of him and he gets along with them and all evidence points to this being 100% true. I feel that they deserve so much more than what they get for the amazing job they do.

Took my Mum for 1 week of respite to try and give my Dad of 85 years a break from caring for his wife, who have been married for 65 years.
Very upsetting to leave Mum there, and I felt like I had abandoned her, but to be honest, I couldn't find fault with Park Beck at all.
The staff that I met were
amazing, credit to the carer and the manager is a diamond, very helpful, caring, and went above and beyond to be helpful, accommodating, and to totally respect your wishes, to make your loved one feel comfortable.
A big thank you to all staff concerned in looking after my Mum on her week of respite at Park Beck, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate in taking Mum back for respite in the near future. A big thank you to everyone.

My brother and I had a few awful experiences with care homes in the area. After looking for months for a decent home for Mum, ironically my brother found Park Beck right next to his work. Park Beck does exactly what it says on the tin. No pretending to be something they are not but doing exactly as
they say they will. Mum has had nothing but excellent care and kindness since she has been there. The manager obviously selects excellent staff. It’s so sad that Mum is in a home and so confused but knowing she is well cared for makes it so much easier. The place is warm and clean and the staff are lovely. Would recommend it to anyone. A wonderful care home run by people who care deeply for their residents.

The tender care given by the nursing staff to my Mother in her final days was massively appreciated by my brother and I as we live so far away.
Not only by photos which were taken of her and WhatsApp to my mobile but every suggestion to make her life easier.
Words fail me how brilliant the carers
were and even when I telephoned, I was always met with a cheery voice on the phone.
I never went into her room or experienced food and drink so I clicked below 'excellent' as the rest is, let's face it.
I would doubt if there is a better care home for dementia patients in the UK.

The staff at Park Beck continue to provide excellent levels of care and support to my mother despite the exceedingly difficult operational circumstances as a result of Covid. I started out in care when my children were small. I worked night shifts once they got older, and then I moved on to day shifts. I progressed to senior carer quickly before being promoted to deputy manager, where I worked closely with the manager for 8 years in a dementia home, which I loved. I completed my level 5 registered manager award at that time. I then felt it was time to venture on my own and became the registered manager of a medium-sized home, putting what I had previously learnt into practice. I then moved to Hastings and felt I needed to find somewhere closer to home. I'm so glad I did, as that's when I found Park Beck 7 months ago, and I have not looked back!

I spend my days either in the office supporting the home manager in the running of the home or on the floor with the residents.
