Parkbeck Care Home does allow visitors to bring pets in, like dogs, please get in touch concerning any other animals. Ramps are available for the front door, please ring the bell and a staff member will be happy to assist.

Parking

  • Private car park, which can hold about 10 cars, if a space is needed closer to the door due to disability, then please ring and Parkbeck Care Home will make one available. The car park has two entrances.

An exceptionally high standard of care, commitment and compassion. The care team and the management make it their duty to get to personally know each resident and to provide them each with person-centred care. Staff members have bonded with the residents and the atmosphere is one of cheerfulness, light-hearted

My Mum has never been one to interact but since leaving at Parkbeck, Mum engages with other residents and staff and joins in any activities. Mum has also been eating better and gained weight, which is a good thing as she is so slight. Mum is happy at Parkbeck so we are all happy.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, always at hand if needed. Residents seem happy and contented and like joining in the activities provided. Food is good and snacks available if required. It does seem that when I visit that the residents are doing the same or similar activity. It would be nice if
they had a lot more variety.

I always find the staff and management of Parkbeck Care Home to be positive and caring at all times. The home is always clean and I have the utmost respect for staff and management in the most difficult of situations. On my visits to my Father, I have always been welcomed with warmth and respect.

The main feature of Parkbeck Care Home is the caring staff. They are friendly and take great pains to help all the residents. They are cheerful and friendly every day and know the needs of each resident. The food is good and there is always a choice. Parkbeck Care Home is always warm and normally there
are plenty of staff on duty. Staff are always welcoming to visitors.

I started out in care when my children were small. I worked night shifts once they got older, and then I moved on to day shifts. I progressed to senior carer quickly before being promoted to deputy manager, where I worked closely with the manager for 8 years in a dementia home, which I loved. I completed my level 5 registered manager award at that time. I then felt it was time to venture on my own and became the registered manager of a medium-sized home, putting what I had previously learnt into practice. I then moved to Hastings and felt I needed to find somewhere closer to home. I'm so glad I did, as that's when I found Park Beck 7 months ago, and I have not looked back!

I joined Park Beck in early 2022, starting as a housekeeper and worked my way up to Deputy Manager. I spend my days either in the office supporting the home manager in the running of the home or on the floor with the residents. Seeing the residents smiling, laughing and feeling safe within the home motivates me to do the best that I can .
