9.6 Group Review Score (the average from all locations with a review score)
  • Care Homes Owned by Regal Care Trading Ltd
With nearly 20 years of providing exceptional care, Regal Care Trading is now one of the market leaders here in the UK.
Staff care deeply about residents and when you visit its care homes there is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Skilled carers know when to provide care and when to encourage independence. They work with loved ones to create a care plan that suits them. This means, where possible, your loved ones will retain control over their day-to-day living. Rest assured, however, that they’ll be there 24 hours a day should they be required.

It is a requirement that at least 50% of care staff are qualified to NVQ Level 2 in professional care. Training scheme ensure that Regal Care Trading exceed this requirement, and they’re aiming for 100% of carers to gain this qualification. The group are committed to achieving this, which will ensure residents continue to receive only the highest level of care available.

We recently moved dad to Westlands from a local nursing home. The manager, Nicola and Deputy, Karen, and their staff are positive, calm and assured and so helpful. You could see dad relaxing into his new home. The home is very tastefully decorated, the bedrooms are good, the food is homemade, and dad
has enjoyed the variety of activities, and the choice of lounges and quiet areas too. There is the opportunity to enjoy the courtyard garden too - which is great.

Both Mum and Dad started living at Blair House in the summer of 2025. Both settled well and have enjoyed there time together at the house. It feels like home to them and they really love the food. My Brother and I have come to know the staff well and by name. Mum loves the trips out and the music they
play in the house. Christmas was a lovely experience with carols.

My husband was cared for with great respect and dignity until he died two and a half years ago. I continue to visit at least once a week as a friend to many of the residents. I'm greeted with warmth and made to feel comfortable. The manager and staff are constantly making sure everyone's reassured and
calm. Giving drinks and medication always with respect, cheerfully, and so, so hard working. I would recommend the home for someone who is looking for a warm, safe, caring environment to live.

Westlands Care Home

from Phil H (Son of Resident) published on 25 March 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Westlands Care home is such a lovely warm and friendly place - Nicola, Chrissy and the whole team are so supportive of the residents and always focused on providing the best experience for the residents. My mother has dementia and is confused about a lot of things, but she is always crystal clear about
her care - 'The food is good, the staff look after me - I have no complaints' (her words, not mine) It was a frightening task to take responsibility for putting my mum in a residential care setting, but Nicola put my mind at rest from the outset - my mum is very settled after a year at Westlands.
Westlands organise lots of activities and I love seeing what my mum had been up to on Facebook. These activities are balanced with quieter times which my mother needs for reflection and introspection. The staff have always been supportive and helpful - whether it is getting mum ready for a trip out, or organising a space for me to bring in coffee or a take-away meal. Highly recommended!

Park Beck is an excellent home. The staff are caring and genuine, and the residents have so many opportunities to join in with activities and outings. It is one of the best homes I have come across.
I am very happy that my mum is residing at Park Beck, myself and my sister went to visit the home before
our mum became a resident, we knew straight away that we wanted our mum to reside there, as the staff were so lovely, and the home itself is clean, and homely.
I know that my mum is very happy living there.
