I am satisfied with the care she is given, especially since she has been confined to her bed. Most of the staff are very caring and always go that extra mile to help and keep me informed about mums health.

My mother has been at this home for nearly five years. We (my sister and I) are very pleased with how she is being cared for, all the staff are very caring and will do anything in their power to make her happy.

We are happy that we chose this care home for our mum.

My mum's care is excellent. Staff are all like one big family, and have kept us updated with all my mum's care. It's so welcoming here, I would one hundred per cent recommend Ashcroft House to anyone requiring these services, excellent all round.

No major complaints with care home only one thing could be improved and that is not to misplaced items of clothing I have brought. Every single item goes missing never to be seen again.

My wife having advanced mixed dementia receives good care particularly as she cannot call for aseismic. I find the full-time care assistance very capable and helpful but due to manning levels especially at weekends agency staff are not as good. Her room is good and we can customise the place to our liking. The food is good and feeding assistance is available. It is essential nursing staff are available and again they are good at the care they offer. The external GP is not reactive as I would like. There are many activities organised with outings, events and internal activities arranged. The management listen to my concerns and react accordingly. I am very happy that my wife is in Ashcroft.

Service is good by staff but the food could be better, more soft dinners and softer puddings, everything else is ok. Softer food as I can't eat hard food as I can't chew it very well and it doesn't go down.

The management are very good. Food and cleanliness of rooms is very poor.

The staff are generally good but weekends everything seems to go downhill.

In general, my partner is looked after in a satisfactory manner, but I do find that some staff need to improve their training.

Some meals are better than others, the portions are bigger than necessary but could be served warmer.

I arrived at Ashcroft House following a major operation in hospital for cancer, through social services. My first impressions were of a clean and comfortable surrounding.
All the staff were welcoming and attentive.
Everything felt - and still is - a high-quality and effective service, two years on nearly!

With plenty of activities available to fill the days. And while promoting a "back to health" service setting.

Staff are excellent, very understanding and caring. Dad is very happy at Ashcroft he is very fond of all staff, all his needs are met. He is looked after really well and I am kept updated of any changes. The social media group is good I get to see Dad enjoying the entertainment via video messages. Visiting hours are very flexible. Dad is on pureed food and 90% of time has a clean plate.

Have and do recommend home to friends etc. who have family with dementia.
